Unexpected Marriage: She is the Sugar Mommy!
Chapter 15: I Am Your Great-Grandmother
CHAPTER 15: CHAPTER 15: I AM YOUR GREAT-GRANDMOTHER
After speaking, Desmond Fairchild raised his eyes to his excited grandmother and reminded her worriedly, "Don’t go looking for them, don’t scare Jude, wait for a while and I’ll bring him back to see you."
Old Mrs. Fairchild was quite worried. Her grandson has never dated since he was young, and she truly fears he might be deceived.
After this talk, Old Mrs. Fairchild didn’t have a good impression of this woman. After all these years, suddenly presenting a child out of the blue, if it’s not for the Fairchild family’s money, what else could it be?
"How much money did she ask you for?"
"Grandma, you got it wrong." Desmond Fairchild lightly curved his thin lips, implying that he seemed to be spending her money instead.
Old Mrs. Fairchild was dumbfounded and frowned, "What do you mean?"
"Just what it sounds like." Desmond Fairchild said casually, not providing any explanation.
Old Mrs. Fairchild would not let it go, clinging to Desmond Fairchild like a child, insisting that he clear things up.
Even with Desmond Fairchild’s cold demeanor and aloof heart, he couldn’t withstand the old lady’s melodramatic antics, crying, making a scene, and threatening suicide. He had to concisely explain the situation.
Listening to the whole story, Old Mrs. Fairchild’s expression slowly transitioned from surprise to joy.
She tightly held Desmond Fairchild’s hand, smiling so broadly that crow’s feet appeared, "Why didn’t you say so earlier, you caused me to wrongly matchmake. So this means, I not only have a cute little great-grandson but also a kind granddaughter-in-law?"
Desmond Fairchild nodded wearily, "Yeah, Grandma, you are a great-grandmother now."
Upon learning she had a great-grandson, Old Mrs. Fairchild generously let Desmond Fairchild off.
A smelly and stubborn grandson, where’s the fun compared to a cute and cuddly great-grandson?
After a hard night, Old Mrs. Fairchild was practically longing with all her might, wishing she could immediately see the adorable great-grandson.
After Desmond Fairchild finished breakfast and left for work, Old Mrs. Fairchild paced around a few times, and then slapped the table, "I can’t wait, I must go see my great-grandson now!"
"Madam, the young master instructed you not to disturb the lady and little master." Aunt Lynch sighed helplessly, she’d said it multiple times, but the madam hadn’t listened at all.
"I’m practically knocking on heaven’s door, if you don’t bring him over, how long do you want this old woman to wait?" Old Mrs. Fairchild huffed unhappily.
Action speaks louder than words, without further ado, Old Mrs. Fairchild instructed Aunt Lynch, "Prepare the car, I want to go see my great-grandson!"
Desmond Fairchild didn’t deliberately conceal his whereabouts, and Old Mrs. Fairchild easily found the address.
In the villa area of Azure Cloud Shores, a splash of pale blue was moving rapidly.
Not far behind her, a small black dot was following, at an equally incredible speed.
Upon closer inspection, who else could they be but Seraphina Sinclair and her son?
Seraphina Sinclair stopped running, and did a quick footstep on the spot, raising an eyebrow at the little guy not far away, "You can’t handle just two kilometers?"
"Mommy just won because her legs are longer than mine, is that really something to boast about?" Jude Sinclair took a deep breath, his handsome little face was tight, obviously very displeased with Seraphina Sinclair’s taunt.
"Come on, let’s go have breakfast?" Seraphina Sinclair made a cool gesture.
Jude Sinclair shook his head, "I want to go home and take a shower, mommy, bring me some steamed buns."
"OK." Seraphina Sinclair nodded.
Jude Sinclair walked back home with his short legs, but when he reached the door, he found two people standing at his doorstep.
Jude Sinclair’s big, bright eyes turned, "Who are you people?"
Old Mrs. Fairchild turned around, and seeing that face so similar to her grandson Desmond Fairchild, tears instantly welled up — there was no doubt, this was her great-grandson.
"Are you Jude? I am your great-grandmother."
