Unexpected Marriage: She is the Sugar Mommy!
Chapter 27: Why Dress So Handsome
CHAPTER 27: CHAPTER 27: WHY DRESS SO HANDSOME
Seraphina Sinclair sneered, where did this man get his confidence from, was it purely from his good looks!
If this continues, he’ll set a bad example for the child sooner or later.
Seraphina felt it was necessary to find a time to talk with him.
Seeing mommy angry, Jude Sinclair climbed down from Desmond Fairchild and hugged mommy’s leg, "Mommy, I’m sorry, please don’t be angry. I won’t buy so many things in the future."
"Go to your room and change into your pajamas, I’ll give you a bath later."
Directing Jude away, Seraphina glared at him with her beautiful eyes, "Jude’s stomach isn’t good; he can’t eat these snacks."
When she gave birth to Jude, it was difficult, and he wasn’t properly cared for during infancy. Jude’s body is very frail, there are many things he can’t eat, especially now that he’s still young, his spleen and stomach can’t handle it, so he must be nurtured slowly.
Upon hearing this, Desmond Fairchild’s eyes were dark and deep, like two abysses exuding ultimate danger, "When you... gave birth...?"
Recalling the information Quentin Jennings obtained, Desmond’s throat tightened, lacking his usual sharpness.
Seraphina closed her eyes, unwilling to meet his gaze; saying this now wasn’t meant to make him feel guilty.
Jude had changed his clothes and was sticking out his little head; Seraphina walked over, planning to coax the child to sleep.
During the day, Jude played with Desmond for a whole day. A child’s energy is limited; it wasn’t long before he fell asleep.
Just as she carefully closed the door and stepped out, she saw Desmond had changed his clothes, looking like he was going out.
She looked at him warily and finally asked, "Dressing so handsomely, where are you going?"
"Just some business," Desmond explained blandly.
Seraphina snorted unhappily, "You’ve been leaving early and coming back late recently; what are you busy doing?"
Desmond’s deep eyes swept over Seraphina’s beautiful face, his thin lips curling slightly, "Why? Are you very interested in my affairs?"
"Didn’t your mother teach you? It’s unsafe for boys to go out alone. For someone like you, dressing up like this to go out is even more unsafe." Seraphina spoke seriously.
She wasn’t wrong; in today’s society, if women become vulgar, men really can’t do anything about it.
"Since you’re so worried, why don’t you come along?" Desmond raised an eyebrow and invited Seraphina.
Seraphina waved her hand, "I’m not interested in your affairs. Don’t come back too late and disturb our sleep."
Watching Desmond leave the house, Seraphina hurried upstairs to change clothes.
Desmond left Azure Cloud Shores, got into a taxi, and went to meet Quentin Jennings at a famous coffee shop in Bayside City.
They were sitting in the café talking about something; Seraphina sat too far away to hear clearly. She only knew that they hadn’t even drunk two sips of coffee before getting up to leave.
She hurriedly followed them, seeing him get into Quentin Jennings’ car, she couldn’t help but grit her teeth.
Seraphina knew about Quentin Jennings; she learned his name and identity during a drinking session some time ago.
It’s said he’s the second-in-command of Cloudsea Group, a reckless and unrestrained person, definitely not a gentleman.
Desmond mixed with this kind of man couldn’t be a good thing.
Without thinking too much, she quickly waved down a taxi, "Driver, follow that Phantom in front."
"Alright, miss, buckle up." The driver was enthusiastic about having such a beautiful passenger, eagerly pressing the accelerator as if driving a sports car.
Following closely, she found Desmond and Quentin stopped at The Fairchild Group’s company entrance and went in side by side.
She looked suspiciously at the skyscraper ahead; could Desmond have any connection with Cloudsea Group too?
In any case, she felt relieved that she hadn’t noticed him doing anything to betray her, and she headed straight back to Azure Cloud Shores.
She didn’t realize that from the 59th-floor window of The Fairchild Group, a blue-gray figure was watching her.
After conducting official business, Quentin glanced following Desmond’s gaze downwards.
"You came to the company right in front of her, aren’t you afraid she’ll discover your identity?" Quentin, sitting on the dyed leather sofa with his legs crossed, leisurely awaited Desmond’s response.
Desmond lowered the sheer curtain, his expression calm without a ripple, "Doesn’t matter."
He didn’t care about Seraphina discovering his identity, after all, he once asked for that promise from her. In fact, he eagerly anticipated Seraphina learning his true identity.
At that time, what kind of expression would that beautiful face of hers reveal?
