CHAPTER 48: CHAPTER 48: REGRETTING MY AGREEMENT

Getting into the car, Desmond Fairchild looked at Seraphina Sinclair and suddenly spoke, "Since the collaboration between Kevin Group and Lloyd Group fell through, why not consider Cloudsea Group? In terms of qualifications and publicity, I think Cloudsea shouldn’t lose to any company."

"Talking with you?" Seraphina Sinclair turned her head to look at Desmond Fairchild.

"If I achieve this, it would greatly help my promotion." Desmond Fairchild nodded.

"Can you make the decision?"

"Quentin Jennings and I get along well, so I should be able to get this kind of authority."

Upon hearing Desmond Fairchild’s words, a slightly thoughtful expression crossed Seraphina Sinclair’s face.

In private affairs, she wasn’t prepared to collaborate with Lloyd Group from the start. Publicly, Cloudsea Group is far better than Lloyd Group.

Since it’s a good choice both publicly and privately, and it helps Desmond Fairchild’s work get on track, not hanging around with Jude Sinclair all day, it’s also a good option.

"Alright, you can set up a time." Seraphina Sinclair said boldly.

"But as a trade, you’ll have to accompany me to a charity event in exchange." Seraphina Sinclair thought for a moment and seemingly casually suggested.

Actually, before coming out today, Irene Rowe specifically required her to attend this charity event.

After all, the takeover of Kevin Group was no longer a secret. Her actions today in Ethan Lloyd’s office would soon spread, and it’s uncertain how Ethan and the others would defame her.

This first public appearance is particularly important, and the charity event is suitable, also leaving her a good reputation.

However, she didn’t want to attend such an occasion alone, and naturally thought of Desmond Fairchild.

"No problem." Desmond Fairchild agreed on the spot.

If he remembered correctly, the charity event was tonight. Generally, he didn’t need to attend such things, as assistants would arrange someone. Now, it seems the company needs someone else, otherwise if his identity is recognized, it’ll be troublesome.

"Then for the company collaboration, arrange to come to my office at two o’clock in the afternoon in three days, is that okay?"

"No problem." Desmond Fairchild shook his head.

The two engaged in a simple conversation, hashing out some details.

"Mommy, can’t you discuss your work things another day? It’s rare for us to sit together as a family, so can’t we talk about something else? Spend time bonding?" Jude Sinclair pouted.

Seraphina Sinclair turned her head and squinted dangerously: "Oh? What do you want to discuss?"

"Nothing." Jude Sinclair shivered and shook his head firmly.

The next evening.

Desmond Fairchild and Jude Sinclair, wearing suits, sat in their seats, eagerly looking upstairs.

"Thanks for waiting."

Accompanied by a crisp shout, Seraphina Sinclair, dressed in a white evening gown, slowly came down the stairs.

Her long black hair casually draped over her fair neck, below her slender legs were a pair of red high heels, making a crisp "click-clack" sound as she walked.

"How is it?" Seraphina Sinclair looked at the two and twirled her skirt.

"Mommy looks stunning!" Jude Sinclair couldn’t wait to speak.

"I’m a bit regretting agreeing to attend the banquet with you." Desmond Fairchild stared at Seraphina Sinclair for a while and suddenly spoke.
