Unexpected Marriage: She is the Sugar Mommy!
Chapter 64: Austin White
CHAPTER 64: CHAPTER 64: AUSTIN WHITE
Confirmed with Irene Rowe that there’s no public relations issue on her side, Seraphina Sinclair hung up the phone and called Jude Sinclair.
"Mommy!" Jude’s excited voice came through the phone.
"Jude, Mommy wants to ask you something, and you must tell me honestly." Seraphina said seriously.
"Huh? Mommy, what do you want to ask?" Jude was a bit confused, he hadn’t done anything wrong recently, right? Being called by his full name scared him.
"Was it you who deleted the video online?" Seraphina asked, knowing her son’s hacking skills are impressive, but she had to confirm.
"What video?" Jude was puzzled.
Seraphina pursed her lips, it seemed Jude truly didn’t know, but if it wasn’t Jude, then who could it be? Seraphina couldn’t figure it out, and decided not to think about it further, letting Irene Rowe continue to observe if anything else would happen following up.
Meanwhile, inside Cloudsea Group.
"How’s the matter going?" Desmond Fairchild sat at his desk, casually glancing at the PR manager as he asked.
The PR manager nodded nervously: "All the videos have been deleted, the trending search has been withdrawn, and we redirected public attention to some minor celebrity affair."
Desmond remembered the content of the previous video, and the atmosphere around him instantly dropped several degrees, looking as if a storm was coming. The PR manager thought Desmond wasn’t satisfied with how things were handled, so he straightened up, not daring to breathe loudly.
In the office, there was only the sound of Desmond’s fingers tapping on the table.
"Warn those media outlets, no information about Seraphina Sinclair is to be released henceforth. They should know what to say and what not to say." Desmond stopped tapping and instructed.
The PR manager hastily nodded, finally relaxing only after he closed the office door behind him, noticing the cold sweat on his back.
Seraphina Sinclair returned home, opened her computer, and continued to investigate the matter, while Jude passed by behind her, holding an ice cream stick.
Seraphina turned her face towards him, raising an eyebrow: "Hmm?"
Jude quickly hid his hand behind his back: "Mommy! I haven’t had one for days, it’s just this one!"
Seeing what was being searched on the computer, he hurriedly changed the subject: "What are you looking up?"
"Come help me find out who manipulated Kevin’s trending search today." Seraphina was effectively distracted, frowned, and let Jude handle the computer.
Jude quickly speculated that the matter was likely Desmond’s doing. Despite not understanding why his dad never revealed his true identity to them, Jude found their current life pretty good, and shrugged it off, trying to find excuses for Desmond.
"Well, Mommy, second brother came from the island to Bayside City, maybe he was the one who did it?" Jude tugged at Seraphina’s clothes as he spoke.
As expected, Seraphina’s attention was immediately drawn away.
"Austin’s in Bayside City? When? How do you know?" Seraphina asked Jude urgently as she pulled him to sit on the sofa.
"I contacted him a few days ago and he told me. Didn’t he tell you? He should have arrived in the past few days." Jude casually revealed Austin’s secret.
Seraphina truly didn’t know Austin was here, he wouldn’t come to Bayside City for no reason, but what was his intention in coming this time?
"Do you know where your second brother is right now?" Seraphina asked.
Jude nodded: "I do!"
The Lynch Family, Shirley Lynch naturally also saw the video online, her eyes glinted. Ever since she spent a large sum to buy pink diamonds last time, she was severely scolded by Old Man Lynch when she returned home.
She hadn’t figured out how to deal with Seraphina Sinclair yet, but who knew the opportunity would just come knocking!
A previously married woman with a ruined reputation, how could she be suitable for Desmond Fairchild?
Just as she was about to save the video, she realized the video page had turned into 404. As she continued to search, she found everything had been deleted.
Shirley Lynch recalled past events, and the resentment inside her almost overwhelmed her, but the enemy of an enemy is a friend, so a former wife and current wife surely wouldn’t get along, right?
Shirley Lynch decided to contact Melanie Lloyd and arranged to meet her.
"Miss Lynch, is there anything particular you wanted to discuss when you invited me out?" Melanie Lloyd wore a white long dress, looking pure and adorable.
"You know Seraphina Sinclair, right? Your husband’s ex-wife." Shirley Lynch rudely went straight to the point, slamming Seraphina’s photo onto the table, and watched with satisfaction as Melanie’s expression cracked instantly.
"Of course. She and my husband have been divorced for a long time. Now she’s coming back, trying to interfere in my relationship with my husband. She’s nothing but a bitch!" Melanie said with a grim expression; if looks could kill, Seraphina’s photo would have been riddled with holes.
"That bitch even dared to try to have both! The thought of her being with Desmond and still seducing someone else’s husband drives me crazy."
Shirley Lynch was enraged thinking about it, and couldn’t understand what spell Seraphina had cast on Desmond to make that man so devoted to her! She must expose her true face and make Desmond regret how he treated her, Shirley thought bitterly.
As expected, the best way to foster female friendship is having a shared enemy. The two women exchanged glances and smiled knowingly.
Soon enough, Shirley Lynch and Melanie Lloyd reached an agreement.
Meanwhile, in a private room of a pavilion, Seraphina finally saw Austin White whom she hadn’t met for a long time.
The three brothers of the White Family were all exceptionally handsome. Austin wore a white shirt, black suit pants, with sharp sculpted features, and his deep, flirtatious eyes seemed to look at everyone as if they were his beloved.
He appeared warm and gentle, always smiling, attracting countless young women.
Seraphina closed the door, walked in, her voice playful, "Austin, have you turned bad? You didn’t contact me upon arriving in Bayside City, if Jude hadn’t told me, I’d still be clueless. What are you doing coming off the island this time?"
Seraphina looked at the handsome young man in front of her and angrily poked his forehead.
"I came to see you, Godmother. It’s been a while, and I really missed you, Godmother." Austin stood up, stretched his strong arms, and hugged the petite and beautifully elegant woman.
He playfully ruffled Seraphina’s hair, opened his seductive thin lips, "Godmother, don’t you miss me?"
Hearing this, Seraphina’s expression softened, unable to suppress the smile on her lips.
Austin had a good personality and had the best relationship with her.
"You’re always sweet-talking. How’s everything on the island recently? Nothing’s happened, right?" Seraphina teased him slightly, feeling quite pleased.
Austin led her back to the sofa, squeezed closer to her, only then did Seraphina realize that Austin looked more mature and manly, without the childishness she had observed years ago.
Austin’s handsome face carried a smile, and upon hearing her, shrugged: "What could possibly happen? Ever since Jude came to Bayside City, we’ve been bored out of our minds, missing the little devil. Joel even more so, he keeps a straight face all day, making people want to punch him; it’d be nice if Jude returned to straighten him out, but otherwise everything’s fine."
"He’s your big brother, can you take him on?" Seraphina laughed.
