CHAPTER 7: CHAPTER 7: MEETING THE MISTRESS AGAIN

Seraphina Sinclair felt the weight in her chest; it wasn’t her influence, it was all Rosalie Quinn leading her son astray.

This made her son now difficult to deceive.

Seraphina Sinclair pursed her lips, ready to move past this hurdle and brush past the man, "Get ready, I arranged to meet with the broker yesterday. We’re going house hunting today, you’re coming with me!"

After all, he’d spent so many years in Bayside City, he should know the market a bit.

Staying at Rosalie’s place permanently wasn’t an option; since she decided to return and brought Jude Sinclair along, they couldn’t live the hard life with her.

"Miss Sinclair, here at Royal Vista, we’re right next to Azure Cloud Shores, and in all aspects, the two places are almost neck and neck. However, our prices are much more favorable here, making it naturally more cost-effective with the same configuration."

"For a client of your quality, choosing us is the best decision." The salesgirl beamed with a smile, secretly rejoicing inside.

The two in front of her looked like they were dressed in expensive attire, the woman beautiful, and the man exuding a noble aura, with such a powerful presence, they seemed like wealthy folk ready to splurge.

Ah, the perfect little lambs.

Seraphina knew about Azure Cloud Shores, she had heard of it before leaving.

Once, it was an old villa area in Bayside City; the people living there were either rich or noble. The houses were highly sought after, and the saying ’an inch of land is worth an inch of gold’ was no exaggeration.

Being close to Azure Cloud Shores suggests that it can’t be bad.

Yet, after touring the villa area of Royal Vista and listening to the salesgirl’s promotion, Seraphina was still unsatisfied, especially because of poor property management.

Even though it’s next to Azure Cloud Shores, the commercial area is mostly over there, behind Royal Vista is just the overpass, and the location isn’t great either.

Jude is still a kid, if he sleeps poorly, how will he grow?

The two sat in the sales office, looking at the neighborhood layout map, and Seraphina pouted, asking, "What do you think?"

"Not worth it." Desmond Fairchild’s thin lips pulled into a cold line, succinctly.

These lousy estates wouldn’t even catch Desmond Fairchild’s eye in the past. He owned dozens of villas and castles, any one of them far superior to this by a million times.

The salesgirl beside them turned pale upon hearing this and quickly said, "Sir, the location here is good, it’s fully furnished, you can move right in. To be honest, this price is something you wouldn’t even get with a major promotion."

"Really?" Desmond Fairchild turned his head, giving her a contemptuous glance.

With an intense aura of danger, the salesgirl felt somewhat guilty under his gaze.

She had indeed heard Seraphina Sinclair was a returnee, so she sneakily marked up the original price. Now, with Desmond’s questioning, she immediately turned her head, not daring to meet his eyes.

"Manager?"

As she turned her head, she spotted a group of people coming over from not far away, and the salesgirl’s eyes immediately brightened as if she had seen a savior, quickly calling out.

Melanie Lloyd was inspecting the work, and instinctively looked over upon hearing the shout. Upon recognizing the people in front of her, she froze instantly.

After a brief moment of shock, Melanie Lloyd quickly came to, hastily striding a few steps to stand before Seraphina Sinclair, her gaze sharp, as she gritted her teeth, "Seraphina Sinclair, you’re still alive?"
