CHAPTER 181: SAVING THE DWARF CONTINENT

[: Daniel’s POV :]

The next stop we appeared at was another continent and that was the Dwarf Continent.

The difference in mana density hit me the moment space folded open.

The air tasted of metal.

The ground trembled with rhythmic explosions of divine force.

The sky was carved open by streaks of red lightning and orange flame, all belonging to a single man.

And that man was King Thrain Stoneforge.

I had teleported us straight to his battlefield, and what greeted us was a sight so overwhelming that even Maiya stopped breathing.

He fought alone.

A titan of flame and thunder...a walking legendary-smith towering above mountains, his hammer of creation lifted high like a world-ending decree.

Flames coiled around him like a crown.

Lightning chained itself across his armor.

His eyes burned like molten steel still in the forge.

And with every strike of his hammer...there was a sound to it, a rhythm.

BOOOOOM

Entire platoons of invaders evaporated.

As soon he struck his hammer, the ground cracked and the sky dimmed.

It was so powerful that it had annihilated the invaders yet the gates still continued spitting out endless invaders.

"Damn you bastards!"

Thrain roared, hammer crashing down as another legion surged.

"Endless! Always endless! How could this happen!?"

He was positioned in front of his castle, a massive fortress carved into a mountain of pure mithril.

Even without looking, I could sense his intention like a blazing beacon he was protecting his family.

His armies were attending to the citizens, providing them shelter and at the same time, fighting against the Invaders.

Eventually, mother stepped forward without hesitation.

"Thrain, how’s the situation here?"

The Dwarf King spun toward us, nearly dropping his hammer.

"Melira!? H-How did you!? Wait! Prince Daniel!?"

His voice cracked into something between disbelief and outrage.

"How in the hells did all of you appear here!?"

"To cut short," Mother said calmly, "we teleported here immediately after clearing the gates at our continent."

Thrain stared at her, then at me and finally, back at the hordes.

"You teleported? Through that?"

He pointed at the writhing skies.

"M-Melira are you mad!? You’re leaving your own continent just to come here!?" It seems like he was misunderstanding something.

"Thrain, you’re getting it all wrong" Mother tried explaining, but he wouldn’t let her.

Thrain blinked.

"Huh!? Are you trying to give an excuse!?"

Before Mother could respond, new figures emerged from the trembling fortress.

And it was the Dwarven Royal Family.

One of them was none other than Queen Brynja, her armor covered in blood, but her presence steady as a mountain.

Hilda and Freya Stoneforge, their daughters, stood like twin flames, eyes sharp despite the chaos.

Balin and Dain, the sons, heavy-built, firm-jawed, gripping their axes until knuckles whitened.

Behind them, their elite warriors, the Ironslayers, marched out, led by Gundrik Ironhand.

He looked at us, eyes widening

"Prince Daniel...? This can’t—this shouldn’t be possible."

Thorek Firebeard’s flame-beard sparked nervously.

Halvar Deepdelve muttered a prayer.

Einar Stonebreaker’s jaw dropped.

Rurik Frosthelm froze mid-step, stunned into literal silence.

No one expected us.

And definitely, no one expected what came next.

"I know right now, this is something hard to believe, but leave this to me and let me handle all of the gats"

The moment those words left my mouth, every dwarf stared at me as if I’d just declared war on the sun.

Gundrik slammed his weapon onto the ground.

"Prince, no offense, but this is not a place for you to experiment!"

Before Mother could scold him, the invader hordes surged again.

There were thousands of them, some were flame serpents, some were shadow wraiths, some were metallic monsters.

They rushed like a tidal wave.

Thrain gripped his hammer.

"Everyone, brace! Melira, protect the pri—"

I stepped forward.

Maiya whispered, "Daniel...?"

Victor raised a brow.

"Show them."

Mother simply crossed her arms, fully unconcerned.

I lifted my hand.

[: Devour Domain :]

As soon as I had used the skills, the space warped as energ poured in.

Every spell, ability, and divine aura within a hundred meters dimmed like candles in a storm.

The dwarves had realized the effect and they froze.

"W-What...?" Thrain whispered.

"My hammer...its enchantments!?"

"It’s temporary." I said.

"They’ll be back in ten seconds."

"Ten!? Prince, that’s enough time to die thrice!"

I ignored him and stepped toward the incoming legion.

The devour field expanded.

Every of their abilities were devoured.

All of their strength were consumed.

Their bodies had been dissolved.

A river of essence poured into me, and I activated my next ability.

[: Essence Reclamation :]

The dwarves watched in horrified awe as every invaders that kept pouring in like an endless supply chain had all died.

But they didn’t know that every shred of their strength was drawn into me like a collapsing star.

Immidiately, my stats surged and my power multiplied.

I felt strength gushing through my veins like an addictive drug and I clenched my fist.

[: Rupture of Breaker :]

Everyone heard the words of my skill.

Crack

Every single person standing could hear the sound of thousands of invaders breaking, not physically but conceptually.

Every being whose stats were equal or weaker

exploded into red mist.

Even though Maiya, Victor and the captains had seen partially of my abilities, they were still taken aback by it.

After all, the moment I used my skills, Maiya had flinched and Victor gave a low whistle.

Of course, mother didn’t bat an eye except the fact that she smiled proudly.

Thrain?

Thrain’s jaw nearly hit the molten ground.

"THAT-THAT WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?"

"Just watch" I said to him and he gulped his salivae down his throat as he wish to witness my next move.

And of course, I raised my sword that was not a weapon forged from steel, but a concept.

The Sword of Final Rule manifested, humming with the authority of my existence.

"Mother," I said quietly, "stay with the dwarven line. I’ll end all of the gate."

Thrain shouted desperately, "Prince Daniel, WAIT—!"

He was calling out for me but I was already gone.

[: Chrono Manipulation :]

Time slowed into syrup as raindrops froze midair and ash halted in place.

Invaders moved like sluggish shadows.

And I moved like light.

One step...then...two step and I stood before on the sky.

I could see thousands of gates perhaps even tens of thousands of gates through the entire dwarf Continent, pulsating like wounds.

Thousands of invaders poured from it.

Eventually, I lifted my palm.

[: Authority Over All :]

As soon as the skill manifested, it covered the entire domain of the whole continent and every invaders within it...has lost their abilities.

They screamed silently with their powers sealed, their bloodlines cut off and their authorities stolen.

And then, I struck the final nail.

[: Thronefall :]

A domain erupted beneath me and covered the entire continent, targeting only the invaders.

The invaders collapsed instantly as those that were weaker than me were slammed into the dirt, unable to even breathe.

Even the gate seemed to tremble.

And the next second, my voice echoed through the entire continent like a being that looks down on them.

"Begone"

[: Irrefutable Order :]

It was only a single word and reality obeyed it.

Every invader had collapsed and died, their cores extinguishing like dying stars.

One by one, their corpses fell before it returned into dust, leaving nothing behind.

Once I knew that all of the invaders within this continent had gone, I could move on to my next plana and that was to end all of the fate.

I moved forward and activated the sword that I had been holding all this time.

[: Sword of Final Rule :]

I had locked my targets towards all of the gates spread out through the entire continent.

And the moment I struck the sword forward, the Sword of Final Rule had pierced the rift of all of the gates.

And the entire thing exploded into conceptual ash.

Crack.

Each gates had been pierced and sliced by the sword of final rule, and it shattered into glasses.

It was a sight to behold with and a sight that one may never see in their entire life.

Even the dwarf soldiers who fighting against the Invaders were momentarily lost and confused.

And for a moment, the entire continent became silent.

Then, slowly...reactions began exploding.

I could hear the words of gratitude from the citizens as they were clueless who was the one that had saved them.

Eventually, I teleported myself and returned to where mother and Thrain was.

"M-MOTHER OF ANVILS..." Thrain whispered.

The dwarven warriors stared.

Gundrik raised a trembling hand.

"That... that was something I have never seen before!"

"This is no longer the realm the same as us," Halvar said weakly. "That boy might be beyond it!

Thrain stepped forward, eyes wide.

"Prince Daniel..."

His voice shook.

"You... you...that’s amazing and you have my respect for that!" He said.

"I’m just doing what I need to do" I simply said.
