The man, looking sure of himself, threatened.

Especially when more than fifty of his accomplices approached, his arrogance intensified.

"Oh." Lin Hai blinked his eyes and nodded.

Lin Hai turned his pockets inside out, empty, and said with a smile to the man, "Look, I'm poor."

"Sh*t, just take off your pants, you must have anti-theft underwear." The man insisted relentlessly.

Lin Hai was speechless to the extreme, for f*ck's sake, who wears anti-theft underwear!

"A man can be killed, but not insulted; I don't have anti-theft underwear, what era do you think this is?"

Lin Hai intended to lower the guard of his opponent by pretending to comply, aiming first to capture the leader, but the other party was too shrewd and deliberately kept their distance.

"What an idiot, a pure pauper trying to play hero. Just scram."

The man lost interest seeing that Lin Hai indeed had nothing of value, barely better than a migrant worker, and waved his hand impatiently.

"You guys, go strip that woman's clothes off and take anything valuable."

The man commanded.

Immediately, two sleazy-looking guys, their faces with sleazy smiles, approached Ouyang Xiaoya, rubbing their rough hands.

"Wait, that's my wife!"

Lin Hai took the lead and blocked the two sleazy accomplices.

"Sh*t, tired of living? Dare to block my way?"

"Get lost, or I'll stab you to death."

The two sleazy-looking guys originally wanted to take advantage of the beautiful woman, who was hundreds of times more beautiful than the attendants at the foot massage parlors they frequented, touching her would feel exhilarating.

Ouyang Xiaoya, unafraid, rebuked coldly, "What you are doing is against the law; I dare you to lay a finger on me."

The two sleazy-looking guys hesitated; this woman's presence was formidable, evidently someone accustomed to a high position, or possibly a rich and noble lady.

Generally, they wouldn't want to provoke such a person.

But seeing Ouyang Xiaoya's diamond earrings and the gold necklace at her chest, along with the sea-blue gem embedded in the necklace, they could make a fortune enough for their gang of fifty-odd brothers to live well for several years.

Greed can blind one to self-awareness and circumstance, pushing one into reckless risks, what's commonly called courting death.

The two sleazy guys exchanged a glance, then acted together; one stabbed at Lin Hai with a knife while the other, laughing sinisterly, reached for Ouyang Xiaoya's chest.

Lin Hai snorted coldly, faced with the incoming knife, he dodged not but kicked fiercely instead.

The other's hand hadn't even touched Ouyang Xiaoya, Lin Hai grabbed his arm.

The man attempted to fight back, but Lin Hai, exerting a little force, twisted hard, another crack sound.

Ouyang Xiaoya, her expression unchanged, remained steady and calm, but inside she felt quietly thrilled; it turned out Beast Lin was dependable at the crucial moment.

Though his actions were simple and crude, they were fast, accurate, and ruthless, exceeding the CEO's expectations.

Every woman yearns for her man to be a real hero, and the CEO was no exception.

The group of fifty-odd men glared at Lin Hai, looking ready to rush up and beat him at any moment.

"Kid, you're pretty arrogant, but unfortunately, arrogance comes at a cost!" The leader who initially tried to snatch Ouyang Xiaoya's purse snorted coldly.

"Heh, really? I'm arrogant because I can afford to be."

The other sneered, "This area around the station is under my control; you should have asked around about me, Jin Jiba from Zhonghai."

"You just said your name was what?" Lin Hai blinked.

"Name's Jiba! What about it? Heard of it? Scared now, are you?"

Jiba raised his head, with a villainous look on his face, smug and terribly cocky.

In his view, Lin Hai was nothing but a piece of meat on the chopping board, ready to be easily dealt with, as there were more than fifty of his men. Could Lin Hai possibly fight more than fifty people alone?

"That's quite a unique name you have there, it really matches your face. You're not entirely ugly but not obviously handsome either, and that middle-parted hair gap gets me imagining."

Lin Hai responded with a grin, as he quietly gathered his Gang Qi to its peak, ready to unleash his ultimate move, electric shock!

"Sh*t, cut the chatter."

Jiba could tell Lin Hai was insulting him.

In truth, Jiba knew his name could evoke thoughts of a certain male part, but usually, no one dared to say it to his face.

"Everyone, get him! Beat him to death."

With a wave of Jiba's hand, over fifty eager men immediately charged forward.

Each one of them was holding a hollow iron rod.

These were actually quite sinister—while leaving only light marks on the body, they could cause severe damage to muscles and internal organs.

It was clear the hollow iron rods were specially prepared to deal with police investigations in case of injuries.

Such incidents often happened within the chaotic areas under their control. When some people called the cops, the police would take the victims for a medical examination, and in the early stages, it was essentially invisible, so the matter would often just be dropped.

"Lin Hai, be careful." Ouyang Xiaoya's expression changed as she was quite shocked by the sight of more than fifty people charging.

"CEO, relax, don't forget I'm your super bodyguard, time to show some skills in front of you."

Lin Hai cheerfully said.

Damn, always underestimated by the CEO, although now is not the time to demonstrate mighty combat skills, at least I can shock them.

Gang Qi was already circulating to its pinnacle within him.

He was preparing to unleash a massive electric shock when these people got within one meter of him, which he recently found out was a very effective distance.

Lin Hai was counting in his mind.

Ouyang Xiaoya's heart was racing, she quickly said: "Lin Hai, stop messing around and take action. Be careful not to slip up."

She was terrified Lin Hai would suffer a mishap, and if fifty iron rods came down, a normal person would end up in the hospital within minutes, or even prepare for worst.

"One meter!"

"Humph humph, Beast Lin's electric shock!" Lin Hai roared, releasing the electric energy.

Instantly, the electricity split into ten streams, bursting forth from his fingertips.

As the electricity contacted the iron rods, it flourished like a fish returning to water, enhancing the lethality.

"Humph humph, kid, fifty men freaked you guys out, huh?" Jiba sneered.

Clang, clang—

Just as the fifty men were about to strike Lin Hai, suddenly they all started to shake wildly as if they were dancing a cramping dance, their hair all standing on end.

Then, all fifty-plus of them collapsed with a thump.

Jiba was stunned in an instant.

Ouyang Xiaoya too, with her small cherry mouth open, showed an incredulous expression.

Fifty people, in one breath, all dealt with—it was just too... surprising.
