"Which does explains a bit why he is working for the organization."

"The elder gods, the gods that once ruled this world, they were far more powerful than either gods of heavens and hell."

"And the same goes for their divinity."

"Because of that, the beings from the other worlds would just murder their own kin in order to obtain that kind of powerful divinity."

"And that guys has it."

"If heavens, hell, spirits and what not were to find out about it, they would begin hunting him down."

"That is probably why he joined the organization."

"About him possible betraying us?" – asked 'Kid'.

"Don't know really. Can't really tell based on what I know."

"It would be useful if he were to swear his alleges to us."

"But if he were to turn into enemy? He needs to go."

"And before you even ask, nope. We won't be able to get rid of his divinity."

"Unlike the invaders who needs a link to be even have some presence in this world, the divinity of the elder gods won't wannish."

"Okay. So, is he like main protagonist now or some shit?" – asked Thanatos.

"Welp, considering that he has harem, power of a ancient god, legendary type class and also the fact that he is one of most well known players in the game... Yea, it does make sense for him to be considered as main character." – replied Phantasia.

"But fuck it."

"Who gives a shit if he is main protagonist wanabe."

"We will just get rid of him if he will try and get in our way."

"But right now continue working together with him."

"It is for the best to make sure that he doesn't realize the fact that we are suspecting him of being the traitor."

"But also keep your guard up."

"Now that we know he has divinity of the elder god, things have changed."

"The reason why he is here is maybe complete some sort of quest or obtain something."

"Whatever it is, you want to steal it?" – asked Maparapara.

"If possible, but there is solid chance we won't be allowed to do it." – replied Phantasia.

"Remember, Arthur and his guild are still part of the organization just like us."

"And infighting is currently strictly forbitten."

"Not only that, Arthur have already managed to obtain quiet high rank with the organization, meaning that he will be protected somewhat."

"So look for the way to expose him as traitor, before then even think about getting rid of him." – said Thanatos.

"Precisely." – replied Phantasia.

"Bit our time for now and wait for the opportunity."

"If it doesn't show itself, we will just give up like that, since we don't what to have any major problem with organization."

"But if by any chance it does show up…. You know what we will do, right?"

"Got it boss." – replied both Thanatos and Maparapara.

Right now the situation with the war is fallowing.

Nobody is winning right now, both sides are at the stalemate.

The vampire army maybe winning nonstop, but the dragons are getting wrecked right now.

And if the dragons were to disappear to early on, it would put us all in tough position.

So, we have to somehow support our allies.

And so, a sudden meeting was called amongst the vampire leaders to discuss this plan.

It did took quiet sometime to figure out what to do…. But in the end, we decided to do this.

Or more exactly, "Kid" came up with one nasty plan that he thinks he will screw over the entire holy empire in a single go.

Take over the city of Cross.

The dragons will definitely won't like our assistance, so instead we will just attack instead one of the enemies main bases.

The city of Cross.

This will force enemy to relocate their forces away from the dragons, giving them some room to breathe and recover their strength.

In the holy empire there are total of 5 main cities.

They are called "holy cities".

Simple put they are massive cities that spread throughout the empire in X-like shape.

And exactly in the middle of that X and in the middle of the whole holy empire is located the "grand holy city", a capital of this place.

But that will be discussed later.

For now, the holy city.

Simple put, they are the main control points of the empire AND they are one of most powerful cities that provides mots "faith" as well.

So, if we were to take control over even a single one of them, the empire would suffer a extremely heavy hit.

But there are two problems.

First would be the fact that this is one of most important cities, so obviously defenses and forces stationing there would be quiet high.

And secondly, the Children Of The Holy Emperor.

From the very start of the war, all of them had been active.

Mercy.

Justice.

Will.

Loyalty.

There were originally 5 of total, with the last one being "Glory".

But he is currently held prisoner by the vampires.

Anyway, the four remaining Children Of The Emperor had been active during this entire war.

The Son Of Loyalty is currently the one focused on keeping us in check.

While the Daughter Of Justice alongside the Daughter Of Will are focused on the dragons.

As for the Daughter Of Mercy?

Well, here is interesting thing.

She is in the Cross city.

She is currently providing support AND safe heaven to the running citizens.

Simple put, a backbone.

And right now? The Cross city is currently the main hindrance for our invasion.

So, it needs to go.

If we were to attack that city, not only the empire forces would be forced to move, but they may have no choice but to force all 3 Children Of The Emperor to go and deal with us..

With that in mind, we instantly started moving.

But obviously, getting to the Cross city would take us a while, since not only it located quiet far away from us, but the holy empire forces will definitely get in our way.

However, this works in our favor.

Since we want them know our next destination.

And the next action their took was just as we predicted.

The forces of the holy kingdom moved away from the dragons and headed straight towards the Cross city.

They obviously got there much faster than us and not only that, they have brought out…. 2?

Huh. Only Daughter Of Justice and Son Of Loyalty showed up? According to our spies, the Daughter Of Will is still occupied with dragons…. Hm…. I guess they thought this through and didn't panicked….. Oh well. This still works.

They knew what our goal was and wanted to prevent it at any cost.

This will be the big fight….. Or so they thought.

"Em….. Sir…. Why did you ordered our troops to stop?" – asked confused vampire knight.

"Hm?"

"We are not even in range to prepare for the siege or harass the city in any way possible."

"Why you had us stop here of all the places?"

"Did something had happened?

"Oh, simple really." – replied "Kid".

"We are not attacking."

"?!"

"Wait, what do you mean we are not attacking!?" – asked confused vampire knight.

"Didn't you heard me? We are not." – replied "Kid".

"Or more exactly, we are waiting for the right moment."

"???"

"…"

"I don't get it." – said Arthur as he and his team overheard the conversation from afar.

"Well, it makes sense, since it is somewhat annoying plan." – said Phantasia as he approached the group.

"?"

"Plan?" – asked Arthur.

"Oh, yea." – said Phantasia."

"Pretty simple one, but effective one at that."

[Meanwhile: Cross city.]

"The vampires have stopped?!" – asked confused Iron Will.

"Yes….. The vampires have just stopped in their tracks and are straight up refusing to move." – said the paladin.

"They are just…. There."

"Something isn't right about this." – said the young woman with long blond hair as she approached the player and the paladin.

"Most of the vampire forces were conquering our territory while heading there, but now they backed off?"

"Nah. It is other way around." – said the short young man with blond hair as he approached the group

[Victor Kielich – One of the children of the holy emperor – Son Of Will]

"Hm? What are you talking about Victor?" – asked Jeann.

"You fucking idiot. Isn't it obvious?" – asked pissed off child of will.

"This is a trick."

"The vampires are waiting for us to leave."

"?"

"Wait, but we are not planning on leaving…. Why are they- "

"Dragons. Bloody idiots." – said Victor, interrupting Iron Will as he was about to ask a question.

"Tell me, what do you think happens if we are not paying attention to the dragons?"

"Wouldn't they just start pushing forward?"

"But what would if we were to leave the city and have some forces nearby go there to deal with the dragons?"

"The vampires would just go and attack this city."

"?!"

"Wait, then does that mean we are trapped?!" – asked Iron Will.

"Pretty much. But the same goes to them." – replied Victor.

"In other words- "

"We are fucking with them." – said Phantasia as he continue his explanation.

"They have no choice but to make choice."

"And no matter what choice they chose, they will lose something."

"Okay…. But why not just do that instead of waiting?" – asked Mordred.

"Oh, buddy. You don't realize that being an asshole in a war is one of the things you need to learn." – replied Phantasia.

"Tell me, if were given option where there will always be a bad outcome, will making a choice be easy?"

"Not only that, no matter what option you were to choose, you would get blamed."

"True, our target is the city, but who the fuck says we need to even attack it?"

"This is the problem."

"Sometimes a 'choice' isn't something nice."

"Instead it can be poison."

"And right now, they have to chose which poison to take."

"The Cross city has high enough defenses to probably repel us AND there is also all four Children Of Emperor in here."

"Truth to be told, even for us it could be very tough."

"Even with the Sky Behemoth backing us up."

"But there is problem."

"If they focus on us, who will deal with the dragons?"

"Right now we are consider a bigger threat than dragons, but it doesn't mean they can just let dragons roam freely."

"So right now they have two options."

"Get fucked by us."

"Or get fucked by the dragons."

"Either way we would still suffer." – said Victor as he finished his explanation.

"That is definitely the vampires plan."

"They want us to choose between these two options."

"That is why they suddenly stopped their march."

"These fucking bastards are playing with us right now!"

"Then…. We are playing right into their hands right now!" – said Iron Will.

"Tch."

"Fucking moron." – said Victor.

"Do you really think we will play by their rules?"

"This is bloody war."

"And we make our own rules."

"If they thought they had trapped us, then they are nothing more than fools."

"Let us show how to really make somebody suffer."
