However, even though a surrender message was sent, it didn’t mean that the Shell Clan Civilization had changed its mind. They were merely worried about damaging the environment of Mushroom Star, so they tried to deceive Mushroom Civilization into surrendering, and then take control of all Mushroom personnel to eliminate them, thus conquering Mushroom Star without expending a single soldier.

It must be said, the Shell Clan Civilization’s plan was well-conceived, albeit a bit naive.

Facing the overwhelming mechanical offensive of the Shell Clan Civilization, Mushroom Civilization had no other choice but to let the remaining 20% of their airforce staunchly defend outside the satellite orbits and space stations.

These remaining airforce soldiers understood their mission, each controlling a Cosmic Battleship, steadfastly holding the front line, not retreating a single step, determined not to let the Shell Clan Civilization damage their satellites and space stations; otherwise, Mushroom Civilization would lose control over its airspace and would really only have the option to hold onto their land.

As soon as the Shell Clan Civilization’s battleships and fighter aircraft entered weapon range, the fleet of Mushroom Civilization immediately launched a large amount of weapons.

Shell Clan Civilization believed that with the combat capabilities of the Mushroom Civilization, there was no real threat, not even stirring a ripple.

Facing the thunderous offensive of the Shell Clan Civilization, despite being prepared, Mushroom Civilization, due to the technological disparity between the two civilizations, could only resist stubbornly for a while before eventually crumbling like a collapsing mountain. Half the territory of Mushroom Star was occupied by Shell Clan Civilization, and numerous Mushroom People could only hide in underground shelters, while those capable of fighting stayed on the surface for a final desperate resistance.

However, just before the final decisive battle erupted, an unexpected change occurred.

A faint nodal fluctuation suddenly appeared somewhere in the center of the Asteroid Belt, a sign of the formation of a Space Wormhole.

Though the fluctuation of the node wasn’t prominent, the Shell Clan Civilization detected it and immediately treated it as a significant threat. After all, the appearance of a Space Wormhole at such a time meant that the opposing civilization’s technological prowess was not inferior to their own, possibly even higher, necessitating cautious defense!

As the Space Wormhole fully formed, the mysterious force within finally revealed itself!

But to the utter surprise of the Shell Clan Civilization, the emerging force turned out to be the Eternal Life Civilization along with Metal Planet Wandering from the Wandering Alliance. However, the mass of Metal Planet Wandering had increased by two hundred, reaching a terrifying total of 1500!

"Cursed beings, to haunt us still; we’ve already come here, yet the Wandering Alliance still chased us down!" Fearing the sudden appearance of Metal Planet Wandering, the Shell Clan Civilization was greatly wary and its plans to launch a final annihilation battle against the Mushroom Civilization were consequently put on hold, rendering the whole situation suddenly obscure and unpredictable.
