Wandering Meteor
Chapter 384 - 383: Dense Civilization
CHAPTER 384: CHAPTER 383: DENSE CIVILIZATION
The vast Universe, endless starry skies.
In a desolate expanse of space, countless aimlessly drifting particles suddenly began accelerating toward something ahead.
These cosmic particles are extremely light and normally move randomly through space, yet suddenly they seem captured by a gravitational force, streaming towards a lower elevation.
Viewed from a cosmic space’s horizontal plane, the direction of these particles is indeed lower, and according to the laws of space, the existence of a depression suggests that a mass has caused a space distortion. Moreover, from the extent of the space distortion, this mass must be quite substantial.
Sure enough, after a long journey, these particles finally arrived at the center of the distorted space, the deepest point of the nearby area. There lies a not so large star system, with a diameter of only about ten light-years, yet shockingly, within such a small system there existed a black hole, a neutron star, a white dwarf star, and over fifty high-density planets. All these planets showed signs of civilization. Moreover, the three aforementioned dense celestial bodies also host Celestial Consciousness and are part of a Celestial Civilization.
This civilization calls itself a Dense Civilization, for their density is indeed significant.
Just how dense is the Dense Civilization, then?
The beings within the Dense Civilization resemble the dwarves from fantasy novels, with a not so tall stature but a significant mass. An average adult from this civilization weighs about ten tons, far more than an average human’s weight, hinting at the incredible density of these beings – at least a hundred times greater than humans!
And it’s not just the biological life of the Dense Civilization that’s dense, but their celestial civilization as well, to an even more extreme degree. Take the Mother Star where the Dense Civilization evolved; it’s nearly the size of Earth in diameter, but its mass is close to that of nine thousand planets, which is nine hundred times the mass of Earth, with an average density around nine hundred times greater as well – truly abnormal!
Not to mention the black holes, neutron stars, and white dwarf stars whose densities are naturally extraordinarily high.
This immense density is the primary reason why the Dense Civilization can capture particles from light-years away. They accumulate massive amounts of mass within a region of space, creating a significant space distortion, while also emitting intense gravitational force outside, causing all nearby matter to fall uncontrollably towards their Dense Star System.
In fact, this is a strategic response by the Dense Civilization to the Cosmic Crisis.
To gather more resources to deal with the crisis of the Universe’s halted expansion, the Dense Civilization, like others, had to embark on a rampant plundering voyage. But considering the slow process of collecting different materials, the leader of the Dense Civilization, Black Hole Black Star, proposed a theory – the Vortex Theory.
Black Hole Black Star suggested turning their Dense Star System into a super vortex within the Universe. In this way, they wouldn’t have to actively absorb matter, as materials passing nearby the Dense Star System would be affected by the vortex’s suction force and fall towards it automatically, greatly saving their effort in plundering resources and speeding up the process, killing two birds with one stone.
However, the Vortex Theory has a strict requirement.
That is, the speed of the Dense Star System cannot be too fast, otherwise, the vortex’s suction force will be negated by the system’s own high-speed inertia.
Yet, when the Dense Civilization truly implemented the Vortex Theory, the effects were indeed significant, with many cosmic particles, usually difficult to detect, gradually falling towards the Dense Star System due to the vortex’s suction force.
Apart from that, there are some civilizations with undeveloped technological levels that, along with their entire star systems or entire planets, fall towards the Dense Star System. Take, for instance, the civilization that the Dense Civilization captured not long ago; this civilization was just a Primitive Civilization, still unable to effectively control their planet’s flight. Hence, after encountering the Dense Civilization, their entire survival planet involuntarily flew towards the Dense Star System. When this Primitive Civilization realized the danger, they launched nuclear bombs towards the Dense Civilization. However, the nuclear bombs were directly disintegrated by gravity when passing through the outer layers of the Dense Star System, and they didn’t reach inside the Dense Star System at all. Even their Mother Star, when passing through this area, was directly broken down into a state of particles.
This is another layer of equipment that the Dense Civilization has developed for the Vortex Theory.
They created a Supergravity Field using tens of thousands of satellites outside the Dense Star System, where all captured materials first pass through this Supergravity Field on the outskirts of the star system. The high pressure and high-frequency rays of the Supergravity Field easily destroy the material into an atomic state, then temporarily store these atoms in the Dense Star System, forming a very special Heliosphere with a radius of 4.5 light-years. Visually, though, the Heliosphere with five parts transparency actually resembles a broad and beautiful Star Ring.
Thus, as time passes, the Dense Civilization’s Vortex Theory is very successful, capturing a lot of materials and low-level civilizations.
At this moment, another small star system, under the influence of vortex suction, flies towards the Dense Star System. In this small star system, there is a small Constant Star with more than a thousand times the Constant Star Mass of the Sun, and also three planets, among which the middle planet holds a Level 2 Civilization.
This Level 2 Civilization has mastered Annihilation Technology and is frantically using Annihilation Engines to accelerate, attempting to escape the gravitational bonds of the Dense Star System. Unfortunately, the power of their Annihilation Engines is limited, and ultimately they are unable to resist the gravity and vortex suction of the Dense Star System. They can only fall towards the Dense Star System step by step. When the planets orbiting on the outermost edges of the star system enter the Supergravity Field, they are directly destroyed into an atomic state and disappear from sight in an instant.
Then come the second and third planets, until the most central Constant Star.
From afar, this scene looks as if it’s part of a game, with a spinning star system gradually being disassembled and devoured by an enormous transparent creature.
At the same time, fifty light-years away from the Dense Star System, a civilization lies stealthily in the void.
This civilization, like the Dense Civilization, is also a Level 4 Civilization. However, unlike the Dense Civilization, this civilization has extremely sophisticated stealth technology. They have lurked nearby for so long without being detected by the Dense Civilization. But if the Wandering Alliance were here, they would definitely recognize this civilization.
For this is the Ghost Civilization that appeared near the Mushroom Star before.
"The situation has been clarified; the Space Distortion within this spatial range is indeed caused by the Dense Civilization. Let’s report this intelligence to the Bose Civilization first, and then we continue to detect other information."
"Report, a civilization has been detected approaching at high speed. Their energy fluctuations are very strong, indicating that their mass reserves and technological level must be quite high."
"Keep probing, and report back immediately with any further news."
"Report, the civilization that is approaching has been identified; they are the Wandering Alliance we previously encountered in the Asteroid belt. What should we do next?"
"Our duty is to collect intelligence, not to wage war or plunder resources. Activate the most advanced stealth plan immediately to avoid being detected by the Wandering Alliance, and by the way, let’s see what the Wandering Alliance intends by approaching this place."
Following this command, the Ghost Civilization thoroughly blended into the Cosmic Space, as if they had never existed.
