CHAPTER 418: CHAPTER 417: MIRROR PHENOMENON

The Wandering Alliance first covertly observed the edges of the Constant Star System for a period of time.

After translating the communications between two biological civilizations and the Constant Star Celestial Civilization, the Wandering Alliance confirmed several points.

First, this Constant Star Celestial Civilization, named Ye Star, began gathering resources across the universe with two biological civilizations after discovering the cosmic crisis of the universe’s cessation of expansion. They were fortunate not to encounter other civilizations along the way and absorbed a significant amount of matter, which is one of the reasons why Ye Star’s mass reached one hundred and fifty million Constant Star Masses.

Second, within the Ye Star System, there are more than twenty satellites, but only two are life-supporting planets. The life planet in the fifth orbital position is called Huohua Star, with its civilization known as Huohua Civilization; the life planet in the sixth orbital position is called Huahuo Star, with its civilization known as Huahuo Civilization. Both of these life planets are just ordinary planets without Celestial Consciousness. Interestingly, not only were these two civilizations born within the same star system, but even their names mirror each other. This is closely related to their practice of observing each other from opposite perspectives since ancient times.

Third, the scientific team of the Wandering Alliance once used computer simulations to model the evolution of the Ye Star System, but discovered that the Huahuo Star in the sixth orbital path should not have been in its original position. There are only two possibilities for this discrepancy: either the science team of the Wandering Alliance made a mistake, or Huahuo Star was not originally in its current position and was pulled there by Ye Star’s gravity. The reason for this pulling is speculated to be to foster life on Huahuo Star, as if in accordance with the simulation, Huahuo Star would need to be shifted about three million kilometers further out, dropping the average temperature of the planet by over sixty degrees into a perpetual deep freeze, a state unlikely to support life without special opportunity.

Fourth, indeed both Huohua Civilization and Huahuo Civilization are merely third-level civilizations, and they are currently collaborating to master space wormhole technology.

Fifth, the biological characteristics of these two biological civilizations are quite similar because their Mother Stars’ masses, gravity indexes, temperatures, and atmospheric conditions are not vastly different. Their biological structures are also fundamentally identical, equipped with stout legs, hands, a head, and smaller facial features overall, presenting a peculiar appearance of a small head and large body.

Moreover, they are completely covered in fine fur, available only in black and white. The Wandering Alliance calls these civilizations "mirror-images" because places where Huohua Star people have white fur, Huahuo Star people have black fur, and vice versa. Because of this unique biological appearance, the Wandering Alliance has nicknamed both civilizations "Panda Planet people" or "Panda Civilization."

After all, if one only takes a cursory look, their appearance indeed resembles that of the giant pandas on Earth.

What surprised the Wandering Alliance even more is that the reflex speed of Panda Civilization is a few beats slower than humans, making the Wandering Alliance observers think they could be influenced by Earth’s pandas; these civilizations truly seem like small-headed, bipedal pandas.

Yet, what made the Wandering Alliance both amused and exasperated was that these two biological civilizations, including the Constant Star Celestial Civilization, actually agreed to execute a plan which seemed extremely naive and silly to the Wandering Alliance — the Celestial Body Dodge Plan.

The so-called Celestial Body Dodge Plan by the Ye Star Alliance is a strategy to respond to the cosmic crisis of the universe’s cessation of expansion. They somehow acquired three Celestial Body Capture Devices, and based on the functions of these devices, they contemplated capturing Constant Star Ye Star, Huohua Star, and Huahuo Star into these devices to shrink their size and reduce their energy to dodge the rebound waves of the universe’s cessation of expansion.

This plan seemed incredible and rather naive to the Wandering Alliance.

But to the technologically inferior Ye Star Alliance, it was considered a very serious matter.

Upon finding the Celestial Body Capture Devices in an alien battlefield, they discovered that these divine-level weapons could shrink captured celestial bodies significantly. Thus, facing the cosmic crisis of the universe’s cessation of expansion, a scientist proposed that they could place the entire constant star and planets inside the Celestial Body Capture Devices and equip the devices with defensive mechanisms. This way, they wouldn’t need to consider how to protect the large population of their biological civilizations; as long as they keep the three Celestial Body Capture Devices safe, they could survive the cosmic crisis.

This was also the main reason they were fervently tackling space wormhole technology.

Their idea was to open a space wormhole, create a relatively stable internal space, and keep the Celestial Body Capture Devices inside it, further equipped with space wave defense mechanisms, believing this to be the most likely method to evade this cosmic crisis.

Of course, they also considered escaping to the Cosmic Center as an alternative.

But they believed that the crisis waves of the universe’s cessation of expansion would definitely reach the Cosmic Center. So, even if they managed to escape to the Cosmic Center without considering unforeseen factors, they would still ultimately be unable to avoid this disaster, thus they simply decided not to take a longer detour and instead think about how to withstand the power of the expansion reversal waves directly.

Although the intelligence they had gathered so far was quite interesting, the Wandering Alliance had not yet obtained the answer they wanted.

They wanted to know why this star system gave birth to two biological civilizations, so in order to further deepen their research, the Wandering Alliance executed a capture plan. They dispatched a Stealth Ship toward the activity regions of Huohua Civilization and Huahuo Civilization to capture a solitary Huohua Star person and Huahuo Star person for study.

Meanwhile, Lu Chen, also within the Wandering Alliance, convened an important meeting.

The main topic of this meeting was how to deal with the Ye Star Alliance, and there were two main conflicting points of discussion. One was that with the current structure of the Wandering Alliance, they could not simply allow a Constant Star with one hundred and fifty million Constant Star Masses like Constant Star Ye Star to exist; however, some scientists wanted to pull this "Panda Civilization" into the Wandering Alliance, but if the Wandering Alliance really absorbed their leader constant star, then the likelihood of them joining the Wandering Alliance was almost nil, creating a significant contradiction.

In addition, another point of contention was the matter of principle.
