Wandering Meteor
Chapter 500 - 499: Entering the Cosmic Zone
CHAPTER 500: CHAPTER 499: ENTERING THE COSMIC ZONE
Under the stabilization of the information controller, the frequency of the Entropy Wall stabilized within a fixed spectrum, turning the originally invisible Entropy Wall into a layer of faint ink-colored veil. This was not conspicuous in the dark starry sky, and without the use of professional equipment, it would still be difficult to directly observe with the naked eye.
The Wandering Alliance had been paying close attention to the changes of the Entropy Wall. When they detected that the Entropy Wall had become a layer of faint ink-colored veil, the Wandering Alliance realized this was the stable state of the Entropy Wall. In this state, the operation mechanism of the Entropy Wall was temporarily suppressed, presenting them with a good opportunity to destroy it.
Consequently, the already prepared Earth Civilization immediately launched the ultimate weapon—Information Source Collapse!
The Information Source Collapse manifests as a vortex of Information Particles in the Information Sea. These Information Particles form an Information Vortex following specific patterns, and during the process of transformation, there will be a certain associated effect, causing space on the macro level to distort slightly. However, this degree of distortion is subtle, so from the macro level, if one were to observe meticulously slowed down by hundreds of millions of times, they could catch sight of a faint and transparent, bizarre vortex moving swiftly through the starry sky with the naked eye!
Due to the short distance, in an instant, the Information Source Collapse successfully struck the Entropy Wall.
The Entropy Wall, upon being hit by the Information Vortex at the Information Sea level, immediately triggered a terrifying consequence, directly shifting from its stable state to a state of collapse.
This was largely due to the power of the weapon, Information Source Collapse, for upon impact, the particles within the vortex would suddenly alter their motion, compressing violently towards the center with a higher energy frequency range, transforming the original vortex structure into a high-density Information Sphere. When the energy in the Information Sphere reached a critical point, a collapse would occur, leading to a widespread collective collapse of Information Particles in the vicinity.
In light of this destructive interior principle, the once-impenetrable Entropy Wall instantly collapsed, its faint ink layer receding like dissolving ink towards the center of collapse. Within moments, a significant portion of the Entropy Wall was destroyed by the Information Source Collapse!
The Wandering Alliance, which had been closely monitoring the changes of the Entropy Wall, suddenly noticed.
As the Entropy Wall opened up a gap, an incredibly dazzling brilliance shone forth from the breach.
It seemed to be the true essence of the Cosmic Zone; the members of the Wandering Alliance were seeing the interior of the Cosmic Zone Universe for the first time with their own eyes!
What they never expected was that the Cosmic Zone was not the void and darkness they had seen from the outside, but an area of extreme material abundance at the center; those dazzling rays were emitted by nebulae and clouds, previously concealed by the Entropy Wall, hence not visible from outside the Cosmic Zone.
At this moment, the Information Source Collapse had successfully destroyed part of the Entropy Wall, confirming the scientists of the Wandering Alliance’s conjectures as correct, a positive development. However, the Wandering Alliance did not become overly elated, because they discovered through detection that the breach made in the Entropy Wall was only about seven thousand light-years in diameter, nowhere near large enough for the Wandering Star System to pass through directly. Therefore, Earth Civilization promptly launched three more Information Source Collapses, targeting coordinates precisely outside the edge of the first breach by about seven thousand light-years. There were three Information Source Collapses in total, each attacking positions that were not aligned with the breach’s surroundings, forming an isosceles triangle. This was to link several gaps together to create a passage large enough. It was fortunate that the Wandering Alliance had the foresight to employ numerous information controllers to stabilize a vast expanse of the Entropy Wall; otherwise, such an unexpected event, coupled with an insufficiently stable controlled area, would have impacted the Wandering Alliance’s plans to penetrate the Entropy Wall.
Ultimately, Earth Civilization launched three additional Information Source Collapses, linking the four seven thousand light-year gaps to form an enormous circular passage almost thirty thousand light-years in diameter. Such a passage was more than enough for the Wandering Alliance, with a diameter of twenty thousand light-years, to pass through easily, bringing relief to all members of the Wandering Alliance.
However, before they could fully relax, Constant Star Lu Chen suddenly received some troubling news.
"Emergency report, we’ve discovered the Entropy Wall seems to be rapidly repairing the gap. The original combined diameter of the four gaps was about twenty-eight thousand light-years, but now it’s reduced to twenty-seven thousand light-years..."
"Additional urgent report, in the time it’s taken to make this report, the passage has shrunk by about another hundred light-years!"
"It seems that the Entropy Civilization indeed lives up to its reputation as a venerable level-five civilization; their technological level truly exceeds our estimations. It must be that we didn’t completely destroy the Entropy Wall, and the wall has internal repair mechanisms. That’s why beyond the controller’s range, the Entropy Wall is gradually being mended."
Upon learning of this urgent situation, Constant Star Lu Chen immediately understood the reason.
So without hesitation, Constant Star Lu Chen took control of the Wandering Star System, diving into the Cosmic Zone Universe before the passage fully repaired itself.
Although Constant Star Lu Chen suggested that completely destroying the Entropy Wall might prevent it from being repaired, the Wandering Alliance did not intend to do so. The Entropy Wall enveloped the entire Cosmic Zone Universe; its scope was far too vast, and currently, the Wandering Alliance was only at a single point. To completely destroy the entire Entropy Wall, it was unknown how much energy and time would be required to invest; thus, such a method was simply impractical. Besides, there was no advantage for the Wandering Alliance in doing this. The lower-level civilizations barred by the Entropy Wall were neither relatives nor allies to the Wandering Alliance; there was no need for the Alliance to undertake such thankless efforts.
This time, although the Wandering Alliance had successfully breached the Entropy Wall and entered the Cosmic Zone Universe.
However, comparing the breakthrough methods of the Wandering Alliance with those of the seasoned Antimatter Civilization, it was clear that the Antimatter Civilization’s means were far more sophisticated. In contrast to the Antimatter Civilization’s straightforward methods, the Wandering Alliance seemed like a rough newcomer who had just entered level five civilization.
And speaking of the Antimatter Civilization, they had been in the Cosmic Zone for some time now.
Since entering the Cosmic Zone Universe, the Antimatter Civilization had been constantly probing for information about the Entropy Civilization. However, due to the high material density within the Cosmic Zone, this greatly affected the efficiency of detection, so despite long explorations, the Antimatter Civilization had virtually no findings. Moreover, what was even more bizarre was that despite such prolonged searching within the Cosmic Zone, the Antimatter Civilization had not encountered a single civilization.
It seemed, then, that this region—rich in materials and dazzling in brilliance—the Cosmic Zone Universe, was in fact a glamorous domain of death?!
