Wandering Meteor
Chapter 521 - 520: The Mysterious Star Nebula Headquarters
CHAPTER 521: CHAPTER 520: THE MYSTERIOUS STAR NEBULA HEADQUARTERS
To determine the specific time frame when Celestial Consciousness became disconnected, Black Hole Lu Chen tried several more times.
Now, limited by the incomplete White Hole Theory and science and technology, the Black Hole research team is unable to conduct further studies on Black Holes and White Holes. Therefore, they can only collect as much intelligence as they can and organize it, hoping to thoroughly refine the White Hole Theory and lay the groundwork for White Hole research.
After five repeated tests.
With the assistance of Black Hole Lu Chen, the Black Hole research team finally determined that the disconnection time for Celestial Consciousness entering White Holes was generally between 1 and 1.5 hours.
Though this is merely the disconnection time, it is very, very important information for scientists, especially when there is very little intelligence available. Because Celestial Consciousness is not easily destroyed under natural conditions, especially since it is resistant to heat and can control Gravity. Therefore, based on the disconnection time of Celestial Consciousness, scientists can repeat experiments in the laboratory. If they can simulate similar conditions to the disconnect in the lab, they might be able to deduce the environment inside White Holes with the help of the simulated setting, which will play a promotional role in the study of White Holes and the refinement of the White Hole Theory.
However.
Causing Celestial Consciousness to disconnect naturally is not easy, so this will be a long and arduous experiment.
When the Black Hole research team entered the busy experimental phase, Black Hole Lu Chen could barely be of any help anymore. Moreover, as the leader of the Wandering Alliance, it was impossible for Lu Chen to spend all his time on White Hole research since there were plenty of other matters within the Wandering Alliance waiting for his attention.
So, Black Hole Lu Chen conveniently exited the Black Hole research team.
Aside from the Black Hole research team, of course, the Wandering Alliance has numerous other research teams studying a variety of technologies and theories.
Overall, the types of research by the science teams can be divided into four categories: one is about the origin of life and Life Unity Theory; the second is the Origin of the Universe; the third is the ongoing development of Information Weapons and Information Reversal; and the fourth is the mystery of Black Holes and White Holes.
In the following period, Black Hole Lu Chen essentially visited each of the four categories of research teams to get a general understanding of the current progress of the Wandering Alliance’s cutting-edge scientific research. Afterwards, Lu Chen also used his Constant Star Avatar to personally inquire and inspect the construction and stability of each independent star system within the Wandering Nebula.
Upon learning that all star systems were operating smoothly, Black Hole Lu Chen confidently led the Wandering Nebula towards the Cosmic Center.
However, this time the situation was different from before. This time, the Wandering Nebula did not madly absorb the surrounding interstellar material as before. Instead, only material that collided with the Wandering Nebula would be absorbed naturally.
This decision was made first because the material richness in the Cosmic Zone Universe was simply too high, and it was unknown how long it would take to fully absorb it all. If they spent a lot of time absorbing material, they might accumulate a lot of it, but surely they would not be able to reach the Cosmic Center before the approaching Cosmic Crisis; the second reason was that after evolving into Black Holes, both Black Hole Lu Chen and the Wandering Alliance suddenly realized that interstellar material entering Black Holes, and Black Hole Material entering White Holes were irreversible processes, permanently reducing the total amount of Cosmic Material in the Universe. So, after comprehensive consideration, the Wandering Alliance decided not to absorb interstellar material too crazily in order to be cautious.
Moreover, until this moment, the Wandering Alliance finally understood why there was so much material in the Cosmic Zone Universe, and why the Krypton Gold Civilization previously did not absorb the numerous interstellar materials—apparently, their concerns and considerations were similar to the Alliance’s. And upon careful contemplation of the purpose of civilizations collecting material, it’s nothing but to convert it into energy or other materials. But when the entire Cosmic Zone Universe is filled with highly abundant material, civilizations inside it are essentially situated in an ocean, never short of water (energy); so why bother to collect water from the ocean? Would that not be a waste of effort and redundant?
Moreover, leaving a trail of overly obvious material richness would only reveal their tracks.
...
Cosmic Zone Universe.
Although it shares "universe" in its name with the Sky Zone and Star Zone, the Cosmic Zone Universe is a place where brightness reigns.
Somewhere in the Cosmic Zone, there existed a light so unprecedented that it far surpassed even the brightest photons emitted by the largest mass Constant Star, Lu Chen, in both quantity and brilliance.
From the cosmic perspective, the source of this light appeared to be a colossal nebula whose size defied description. The Galaxy Nebula, Andromeda Nebula, and Wandering Nebula were mere table tennis balls in comparison, insignificant even if they were combined against the vast presence of this behemoth.
At that moment, the material in the starry sky gleamed in succession, and one after another, Battle Stars appeared in a sorry state on the periphery of the nebula.
Had the Wandering Alliance been present, they would have recognized this newly arrived fleet of Battle Stars at a glance. These were the Krypton Gold Battle Stars that had chosen to flee after being defeated in the war against the Wandering Alliance.
Unexpectedly, the Krypton Gold Civilization had fled to this location, which seemed to be their main base.
After the disheveled arrival of the Krypton Gold Battle Stars, some planets within the nebula proactively moved out, towing the more severely damaged Battle Stars in for repairs or reconstruction projects.
"What happened? Didn’t you bring back any experimental samples?"
As soon as they returned to the main base, the Krypton Gold Civilization was met with an inquiry from the Star Nebula Headquarters.
With no other choice, the Krypton Gold Civilization had to recount the events in detail and also submitted the wartime videos and recorded communications they had captured.
Upon learning of the general course of events, the Star Nebula Headquarters wasn’t angry but rather shocked. After all, the headquarters also understood that without the protection of the Wandering Alliance, and with the Metal Civilization’s strength being suppressed at the genetic level by the Krypton Gold Civilization, any resistance would have been impossible, and surrender would have come in an instant. Therefore, the blame could not be placed on the Krypton Gold Civilization which had already done its utmost. If there was any blame to be assigned, it was that they had not anticipated the unexpected factor of the Wandering Alliance.
And this was the source of their shock.
They had never heard of the Wandering Alliance before; thus, it seemed that it wasn’t a long-standing tier-five civilization residing within the Cosmic Zone but rather a newly advanced tier-five civilization. What was utterly surprising was that such a newly arisen tier-five civilization was capable of defeating the Krypton Gold Civilization, a truly inconceivable feat.
"Gentlemen, what do you think, should we dispatch our forces to completely eradicate this Wandering Alliance?"
"The optimal timing has already been missed. The enemy is now aware of some of our intentions and existence, and locating them again will probably not be easy. Moreover, as the Cosmic Crisis continues to draw closer, the inside of the Cosmic Zone Universe is also becoming more chaotic. We don’t have much time left. We must focus our efforts on the correct targets. Let’s not forget our ultimate goal — we must find a way to break through the cosmic dimension in this attempt."
"The Wandering Alliance has shown considerable strength, but compared to the Wandering Alliance and the experimental samples, the activities of the Entropy Civilization warrant our vigilance and anger even more. Besides, other tier-five civilizations have emerged in this universe; we need to handle these matters one by one. Also, for some reason, I have a hunch that the Wandering Alliance’s victory over the Krypton Gold Civilization must have been aided by another tier-five civilization. If we act rashly, we might just suffer another defeat. So, neither the intelligence, nor the timing or situation is favorable for direct military action. We should prioritize gathering information and focus on tackling the most tricky issues at hand!"
