CHAPTER 32: CHAPTER 32 EVEN IF I HAVE TO SELL, I WILL SAVE YOUR FATHER!

Gu Yan felt her heart sink, and quickly asked the doctor, "Can we transfer now?"

Early the next day, she got up to buy breakfast for Mrs. Gu.

She didn’t mind and softly said, "I’m going to find the doctor to come and see if Dad can be transferred now."

Mrs. Gu didn’t respond, and Gu Yan lowered her head and walked out by herself.

Only when her figure disappeared at the door did Mrs. Gu lift her head and snort disdainfully.

The doctor came, did a general check on Gu’s father, and after confirming there were no issues, arranged for a vehicle to transfer him to the city hospital.

But a new problem emerged.

Although the city hospital had good facilities, it was very expensive.

Gu’s father’s broken right leg needed surgery to heal, and his heart condition required hospital observation. If it was serious, a heart transplant surgery would be needed. All these would add up to at least a million!

Given Gu Yan’s circumstances, she had no way to afford such costly medical expenses.

But Mrs. Gu stubbornly demanded that she figure out a way to cure Gu’s father.

"Even if you have to sell yourself, you have to get the money to treat your dad!" Mrs. Gu said this.

She was determined to find a way to cure Gu’s father, yet Mrs. Gu’s words hurt her deeply.

Even if she wasn’t their biological daughter, was there really no affection after all these years?
