As the capital of the duchy, Borelion naturally housed the largest number of guards and knights. The knights had quickly responded to the vampire ambush; the bats could easily crush these infantry, but they were useless against the fully armed knights.

The answer was a head that rolled down from the garden terrace.

A massive monster appeared on the high steps behind the garden. It stood at least four meters tall, entirely dark red, with two strong forelimbs and sharp claws, long brown mane extending to its tail, a pig face exposed with huge sharp teeth, and constantly drooling green saliva. It swiped with its claws, three guards were swept into pieces, staining the steps with blood.

It was the Bloodthirsty Bat Wolf! One of the only two Legendary Tier creatures that vampires can summon!

"Ahhhh!" The screams of the noble women in the garden emerged almost simultaneously. The noble women of the Knight Kingdom did learn to ride horses and use cavalry lances from a young age, but they had never seen such a terrifying creature before?!

"Waaaah!" The Bloodthirsty Bat Wolf roared, leaping fiercely off the high tower. It crashed into the crowd like a cannonball, then charged straight at Mogiana.

Mathew Bade also drew his sword, guarding in front of Miss Fiona: "Miss Fiona, let's quickly retreat!"

The Duke's granddaughter was already scared senseless, her legs felt like lead, unable to move, her small face turned pale with fear, stuttering: "But where should we escape to?"

Mathew Bade randomly pointed to a place where no black smoke rose: "Escape over there, that's the library, there are many guards, it should be safe!"

The city was in chaos everywhere, with flames and thick smoke.

Borelion Castle, after all, was the capital of the duchy, hosting a large number of knights, more knight's squires, and an exceedingly large infantry corps. The undead, after leaving a tragic memory on this city, were finally completely vanquished by the knights. Theodoric personally took the head of the Bloodthirsty Bat Wolf, this Legendary Tier fierce beast ultimately could not escape death amidst the siege of numerous knights and the duke himself. A somewhat disheveled Mogiana used a spell to burn the bodies of the undead creatures, then instructed Theodoric that the polluted lands should be plowed with salt she had blessed. The Lake God Witch seemed deep in thought, leaving overnight.

This night came to be known as the "Night of Blood."

Only a very few knew, the library of Borelion Duchy, on the second day after checking, was found missing an ancient tome.
