Xia Xiao and Gao Jiaxing left the teaching building and she asked, "Don’t we need to wait for Yu Shijie and Yang Xuehua?"

"No need. Yu Shijie’s marriage application has been approved; I reckon he’s eager to go find Yang Xuehua to register the marriage. Let’s go, we’re going home." Gao Jiaxing stretched out his hand, wanting to hold Xia Xiao’s, but suddenly remembering they were at the school with many people watching them, he quickly withdrew it and brought his hand to his mouth, coughing lightly twice.

Xia Xiao looked at Gao Jiaxing, "What’s wrong? A sore throat?"

Gao Jiaxing shook his head, "No, just a little itch in my throat."

Xia Xiao passed her water bottle to him, "I made some herbal tea; have a drink."
