CHAPTER 496: CHAPTER 498: OUTCOME OF THE SITUATION

"I’ll go there with you," Jiaxing said sternly, standing up.

Zheng Xianghong patted Xiao Mei’s hand, "Go back with your uncle."

As Xiao Mei prepared to leave with Jiaxing, Xia Xiao suggested to Jiaxing, "Brother Gao, take Xiao Mei to Fang’s first to recognize the place. Even if we’re not in the county, if the Feng family pressures her, Xiao Mei could seek help from the Fang family, or even go to S City to find brother."

"That works," Zheng Xianghong wholly agreed.

Jiaxing borrowed a bicycle from secretary Cheng to take Xiao Mei to Feng family, while Xia Xiao and Zheng Xianghong waited at home, observing Zheng Xianghong’s worried expression, Xia Xiao feeling at a loss.
