What's Wrong With Being An Omega Nanny?
Chapter 33: Last Day As The Nanny!
CHAPTER 33: LAST DAY AS THE NANNY!
A slap wasn’t what Elias was expecting once the door opened especially not from Clara. He winced silently as he touched his swollen cheek. He was sure as hell that today wasn’t his best day ever. First, it was Viktor and now, his fiancée.
"What is it I heard?" She leaned forward. "You slept on my fiancé’s bed? How dare you?"
"What?" Elias answered as he was finally getting himself together. He groaned softly as he tried to adjust slowly to his surroundings. "What are you talking about?"
He asked again and Clara folded her hands, smirking. The men who were carrying the boxes into the house even gathered around, wondering what was going on.
"What did I say about staying away from Viktor?" She asked.
"I’m not sure I understand what you’re talking about, Miss Clara. Nothing is going on between the Master and me..." He said.
Clara frowned and wanted to walk closer to him but Dario stepped in front of her.
"Don’t take a single step towards our nanny," he said.
"You’re going to be my son soon and I’ll be your mother. We’re going to be stuck for eternity but your nanny is going to find another life elsewhere. Are you sure you want to be supporting him?" She asked and she got no response from Dario. "Step away, David,"
"It’s Dario your ugly-faced woman. And seems like you don’t understand what we’re saying. Stay away from our nanny..."
He paused, and Dante, who was standing behind, holding her bag above a lighter, continued.
"Or your super expensive bag gets it!"
"No! Not my baby!" She screamed, lunging towards the bag, but Dante hopped away from the car and stood in front of Elias.
"Even if our father marries you, you’ll never be our mother and we’ll never be your baby. After all, we can’t replace the numerous babies you have," Dante grinned.
"Kids, don’t be mean now..." Elias knelt behind them, touching their shoulders. They turned to Elias and frowned as they saw the mark on his cheek.
"Dante, give her bag back to her. Nanny’s face has to get treated,"
"Do I have to? Let me burn it! It’s the second time that ’woman’ has raised her filthy witch-looking hand to hit our nanny,"
"Just give it to her. After all, we have more time to deal with her," Dario said and Dante put out the lighter and placed it on the floor gently.
Relief washed over Clara’s face when she saw that her bag was in good shape, but she was annoyed that it was on the floor. She was definitely going to punish them one way or the other. She took a step towards the bag and her heart almost jumped out of her chest when Dante kicked the bag like it was a ball.
"Nice shot! Dante!" Dario said and they fist bumped each other.
"You vermin! How dare you..."
"We said we were going to give your bag back to you, but we didn’t mention how," Dante shrugged, and Dario locked hands with Elias’s.
"Be grateful we didn’t burn it," Dario added and they walked Elias into the house. Elias didn’t know what to say. He was simply stunned by their act that he wished to laugh but his cheek was aching. And anytime he remembers that he is leaving the kids soon, he forgets how to laugh.
"Thanks to the two of you, my evening was better," Elias said, holding their hands tight.
"She’s definitely going to report to Dad, but we don’t care,"
"It’s actually our fault, if we hadn’t told her that the three of us slept on Dad’s bed, she wouldn’t be that upset," Dario pouted. Elias rubbed his hair and knelt in front of them.
"Would you two like to spend the whole day with me tomorrow?" He asked.
"Oh! Can we? Can we?"
"Of course! I’ll ask Gerald for permission,"
"Yay!" They excitedly ran into their rooms forgetting that they wanted to treat his face. He sighed and turned to look for the first aid box. It was going to be the last day with the kids before he left the house, so he was going to use it well.
.
.
The next day, Gerald gave them permission. Of course, he would. They took Marco with them and went to different parks, had breaks in all the fancy restaurants they could find. They ate so much, thanks to the black card that Gerald gave him. He was even scared to spend too much, but Elias had no idea what a black card meant.
While they were busy with their outing, Viktor’s head was aching from listening to Clara all morning. He was already annoyed that Clara had moved into the house without telling him. He would have thrown her out, but he couldn’t.
"You’re supposed to punish the kids and their nasty nanny! But you didn’t! Instead, you let all three of them leave the house after insulting me! My Birkin bag got ruined thanks to David!"
"I’m not sure I have a son named David," Viktor said with a sigh.
"Uh... Was it Derrick? Look, I have no idea what their names are. All I care about is that you punish all three of them!" She banged her hand on his desk angrily.
Viktor stared at his wrist watch as the hundredth sigh escaped from his lips.
"You’re going to become the twins’ mother soon, yet you don’t know their names. Shouldn’t you be disappointed, Clara? The engagement is tomorrow and imagine calling them something else in front of the guests. When I heard you three went for a little bond dinner last night, I was glad but it seems like you three didn’t bond at all,"
"It’s not my fault! They just have really difficult names and I’m not good at..."
"Elias learnt their names faster and he could tell their difference after spending a few hours with them," Viktor said proudly.
She gasped and laughed, slipping her hands into her hair.
"Really? So, this is what this is all about! Are you really supporting that nanny over your fiancée?"
"I’m not, I’m only telling you to try harder!"
"Viktor Drago... If I find out anything is going on between you and that slutty nanny, I’ll report it to my father and make sure this engagement is cancelled. You know what that means," she said and turned to leave. She paused when she got close to the door and turned to look at Viktor’s nonchalant expression. "Don’t test me, Viktor,"
Viktor was finally relieved when she left. He groaned in frustration and leaned back on his chair. He couldn’t sleep last night when Gerald told him about Clara moving in but his main reason was that he was waiting for Elias to walk into his room and tell him his answer.
He purposely left his door open so Elias would tell him his answer. But Elias never came. That was until he heard what happened between him and Clara.
Ever since Clara entered his office and started rambling about punishing the kids and Elias, he wanted to grab her hand, slam it on the table and drive a nail into it. The same hand that hit Elias.
He didn’t see Elias that morning when he left with his kids. If he had seen him and that swollen cheek, he would have hurt Clara.
He sprang up from the chair and walked towards the window. He looked outside for over five minutes.
"Should I do the test again or force him to give an answer? No! This is just an engagement, not a marriage ceremony. An engagement can be cancelled, so I should give Elias all the time he wants. He’s going to be with me at the end, that’s all that matters,"
He folded his hands and smiled at his thoughts.
.
That evening, after a long and busy day, Elias and the twins were heading home when one of them suggested they go and see Elias’s sister at the hospital again.
Elias heard it and his eyes widened in shock. He couldn’t tell them that his sister was no longer at the hospital.
"Uh, there’s no need for that,".
Dante tilted his head and curved his mouth like he wanted to cry.
"Aww, why? We want to see Lila,"
"She’ll get better soon and she’ll be out of the hospital,"
"Really? Will she stay with us and go to the same school as us? Are we going to call her sister? Ouch!" Dante groaned in pain when Dario hit his head.
"We’ll call her aunt, not sister," Dario corrected him.
"Oh! My bad! She’ll be our little aunt," Dante groaned as he corrected himself. "But, why did you hit me that hard? It hurts!"
"Your head is just too hard!"
"What? How can you say that?"
Elias just laughed quietly as trying continued their bickering so they’ll forget they wanted to meet Lila. But deep down, he hoped that Lila would get better and also go to school just as the twins said. He couldn’t wait for that to happen.
Well, that’s if he’s able to escape from him.
