The Jedi Knight was about to strike again but was stopped by Li Xiu.

"If you want to kill, then kill. Don’t think you’ll get any valuable information from me." Treant closed its eyes, showing a demeanor ready to die.

"If I kill you, who will help me attract more demon spirits? That would be my loss," Li Xiu said nonchalantly.

"Don’t dream about it. There won’t be a second time." Treant replied coldly.

"Is that so?" Li Xiu signaled for the Jedi Knight to move forward.

The Jedi Knight swung his sword at the Spirit-Eating Tree, but with restraint, not cutting too deep and choosing a different spot each time.

"I don’t know if this Spirit-Eating Tree body of yours can feel pain. Let me help you find out." Li Xiu said with a smile.

The Jedi Knight kept cutting the tree trunk of the Spirit-Eating Tree, changing spots after each slash. The wounds healed quickly, only to be opened again by the Jedi Knight.

While the Jedi Knight was playing around with the slashes, Li Xiu joined in collecting the spoils, deciding to gather everything first.

This battle had slain thousands of Frenzied Beasts, along with two S-Class demon spirits, resulting in a massive harvest.

However, both S-Class demon spirits’ Demon Cores were devoured by the Jedi Knight. The white deer, though clearly a Radiant Demon Spirit, left nothing behind, disappointing Li Xiu greatly.

The giant serpent demon spirit, however, gave Li Xiu a pleasant surprise by leaving a Demon Spirit Ring.

Even though the giant serpent demon spirit was somewhat inferior to the white deer, it was still an S-Class Radiant Demon Spirit, and the Demon Spirit Ring it left was directly S-Class, effectively giving Li Xiu an additional S-Class combat strength.

Nonetheless, Li Xiu didn’t rush to contract the Demon Spirit Ring, as the giant serpent demon spirit was not especially useful to him.

Its combat abilities didn’t compare to the Jedi Knight, and its functionalities paled against the Black Death Demon King. Aside from its large size and ability to breathe fire, it didn’t seem much use.

Li Xiu didn’t keep idle spirits and intended to use it where it would be more appropriate.

Besides the Demon Spirit Ring, he also picked up some Talent Gemstones and Skill Rings, which seemed to have ordinary and common styles rather than rare, growth-oriented abilities.

While Li Xiu was happily collecting, Treant’s face twisted and contorted, becoming even more grotesque than before.

"Then tell me about you and the Longevity Association. Let’s start with you. What’s your name, and have you really lived for thousands of years?" Li Xiu, seeing that he had almost finished collecting, left the rest for Demigod Shana to gather and walked over to the tree, piling the gathered items together.

"Even if I said, you wouldn’t know who I am... Ah..." Treant didn’t finish speaking before the Jedi Knight’s blade struck again.

"If I know everything, then why do I need you?" Li Xiu said expressionlessly.

"Let’s hear what useful things you know." This time, Li Xiu didn’t command the Jedi Knight to strike again.

"The President of the Longevity Association, and I, both were born in the pre-Qin era." Treant said slowly.

"The scope of this pre-Qin era you speak of is far too vast." Li Xiu said coldly.

The so-called pre-Qin era typically refers to the period before the first unified dynasty was established in the ancient Eastern kingdom.
