CHAPTER 330: CHAPTER 330: DID YOU HEAR THAT? (10)

After several rounds of passion, Tang Yanqi was so exhausted that she could barely keep her eyes open. Half-asleep, she heard someone whisper something in her ear, but she couldn’t muster the brain cells to figure it out. Her head tilted to the side, and she fell into a deep sleep.

Sheng Jianan half propped himself up, a smirk playing on his lips: "Tang Yanqi, I don’t give a damn who you like. If you mess with me, don’t even think about cheating."

In the morning, Tang Yanqi woke up feeling sore all over. Suddenly remembering she had a class today, she jumped out of bed, took a quick shower, changed her clothes, and wobbled downstairs.

Most of her classes had stopped, and for the ones that hadn’t, the professors didn’t bother to show up. Senior year was all about papers and internships; other students were constantly running to their thesis advisors. Coincidentally, Tang Yanqi’s thesis advisor was Sheng Jianan.

She didn’t even have to leave the house to resolve things.

Sheng Jianan had business in the morning and was already out of the villa. Xiao Li gave her a ride to school. Tang Yanqi hurried into the classroom and could see Qi Cheng whistling at her from afar.

She arrived just in time and had just sat down without even greeting anyone when the teacher walked in.

Tang Yanqi was serious about attending class, but she couldn’t fight off the boredom of this teacher’s lecture and started to feel drowsy.

At some point, a note was passed over to her. Seeing the words on it, Tang Yanqi immediately perked up.

She turned her head to look, only to see Qi Cheng giving her a knowing smile.

[So, how does it feel to be liked by your crush?]

Last night, Sheng Jianan’s words were clear to her, and naturally, Qi Cheng understood as well. Tang Yanqi picked up a pen and wrote on the note: [Not bad, I feel like I’ve instantly become a goddess.]

"Pfft..."

Qi Cheng took the note, unable to suppress a laugh. Her actions were always exaggerated, and now she had become the focus of the entire class. Everyone, including the teacher on the podium, turned to look.

Tang Yanqi sat calmly beside her, her gaze fixed on her textbook, with a pen in her hand, looking every bit the model student. In contrast, Qi Cheng’s face flushed red under the watchful eyes of everyone.

Even though speaking during university classes wouldn’t get you singled out or punished like in high school, it was still a bit embarrassing to be watched like this.

Qi Cheng shrank back, waiting for everyone to look away before she gave Tang Yanqi a hard kick, her eyes sharp: Tangtang, you’re not being fair.

Tang Yanqi returned her a mysterious calm smile, which translated to: There’s no helping it, you can’t match my calmness.

Finally finishing the class, they left the classroom. It was still early, and Bai Bing and Bai Xue had been called away by their thesis advisor, leaving Tang Yanqi and Qi Cheng to head back to the dormitory together.

"Tangtang, seriously, what are you planning to do? Are you going to confess to your crush?"

Back at the dormitory, Qi Cheng’s first question was this. Tang Yanqi put down her bag, poured herself a cup of water, took a sip, and finally spoke: "No."

"Why?"

"I don’t know."

Qi Cheng: "..."

Considering Qi Cheng’s usual carefree attitude, Tang Yanqi thought she would suggest that she should just go and throw herself at Sheng Jianan.

Unexpectedly, Qi Cheng, after two seconds of silence, said: "Actually, if I were you, I wouldn’t know either."

"Hmm?"

"Carrying too many burdens makes a person tired. Confessing at a time like this is definitely not a wise choice."
