“Don’t let Reed be expelled. Please, Seth,”

Seraphina was silent for a beat before finally saying, “Okay.”

My head snapped toward her faster than a blink. What? Did she just… forgive that bastard?

Cassius‘ pathetic face lit up like he’d just been handed salvation. He released her hand and turned toward Alpha Jude with a triumphant smirk. “Did you hear, Alpha Jude? Seth was just ying with Reed. It was between friends…”

My fists curled so tight my nails bit into my palms. I was seconds away from yanking him to the ground by his hair and smashing his smug face into the dirt. He was twisting her words, manipting her-

“See,” Cassius went on, “it was just a game, so no need for expulsion-”

“When,” Seraphina’s voice cracked like a whip through the clearing, cold and thunderous, “did I say that?”

Silence fell like a de. Even the wind seemed to hold its breath.

Cassius froze, turning to her in shock. “You–you just said okay-”

“You didn’t hear me ipletely/ii, /iAlpha Cassius,” she stepped forward, drawing all eyes to her. “When I said iokay/i, I meant ‘Okay, I’ll forgive Reed,i” /ishe smiled sweetly, stopping in front of him. “Your desperate loyalty touched me. It melted my hatred enough to spare Reed.”

Cassius grinned. “See! You said it again. Clearly this time”

“But,i” /ishe cut in, “with one condition.”

    The clearing went quiet.

    “What… condition?” he asked warily.

“That you will be iexpelled /iinstead of Reed.”

Gasps rippled ithrough /ithe crowd. Even I was still.

Cassius stared at her like she’d just grown ws from her eyes. “What…”

She blinked, “Should I repeat myself?”

His face twisted. “What the fuck did iyou /ijust say, you-”

Her sharp gasp cut him off. “Can’t take your friend’s ce?”

    “You-”

“So you can’t?” she stepped dangerously closer to him and red up at him with her wolf eyes, “Then why the fuck you are begging for that pathetic shit of a wolf in front of me when you do not have the balls to sacrifice yourself for your friend?!” she growled lowly, as his wolf coward when her wolf appeared in her eyes.

“I am just…” he took his steps back as she advanced.

“You are just what? Acting heroin front of people when in reality you are a crowd who pretends to be one behind his friend’s back? I already knew that from the beginning. Save it for the entertainment of others.”

His expression turned ugly, “What the fuck did you just bsay /byou motherfucker ?!” he roared.

Seraphina gasped, “Alpha Cassius, are you angry? Do you want to kill me too?

Chapter 139 Do You Want To Kill Me?

“What? When did I say…” he was caught off guard.

She gasped again, her face full of innocence “Wait, what? You wanna challenge me for both Reed and yourself?”

His face turned pale, “W–when did I say that?” he stammered.

Her innocent expression changed with a cold stare as she growled, “Then why the fuck iyou /iare wasting everyones‘ time? Get the fuck out of my face and stand to the side so that the loser Alpha with a big dick can be handled properly.”

The clearing fell into a dead silence. But the corner of my lips curled up as I watched my princess putting a mutt in his ce and having no mercy for them. Unlike other women, she had a heart that was idiamond/i, precious but would make you bleed if you tried to y with it.

Cassius snorted like a tied bull. He clenched his fits but could not speak a word against her. Under everyone’s gaze, he had to silently take the step back swallowing the humiliation.

She slowly turned around and walked past the Healer, “Healer Aran, sorry for increasing your work load but make sure the Alpha with a big dick has his balls safe and secure when he is crossing the Academy door.”

Graceughed in the background while Aran smirked and gestured to his wolves to carry Reed.

My eyes locked onto her eyes. She had been walking my way but walked past.

Verkas grew disappointed and my heart grew depressed. She was still ignoring me. My head was down and eyes closed when suddenly I felt a finger brushing against mine. Soft and warm.

My eyes isnapped /iopen and I found her stopped beside me, by my shoulder.

“Thank iyou/ii,/ii” /iishe /iwhispered, without looking at me.

I held imy /ibreath so tightly in disbelief that she talked to me. “For what?” I whispered.

She slowly turned her face iand /imet my eyes, “For….” her lips parted but she lowered her eyes shyly and murmured, “You can think it ito /iyourself….” saying she abruptly passed by me with red cheeks.

My heart skipped a beat and I found myself smiling like a teen.

She just gave me a nk check.
