SERAPHINA

Honestly, deep in my heart I knew the ending. Ryker was going to win. Everyone was well aware, however, these Alphas had to save their egos. He actually won as easily as if he were taking a stroll in the garden. Still when Grace called our names as the finalists, his smile brought a strange feeling in my chest. It was as if he had been looking at me this entire time. Waiting…forollime./li/ol

Still we were bound to face each other if we had not been interrupted during the task by the waterfall. If not back then, then now. I wanted that scroll and I was not going to back down even if my opponent was Alpha Ryker.

My eyes flickered to Ronan across the clearing and as expected he looked like a beast in a cage. The only thing holding him back was me. His violet eyes intensely watched me as if he wanted to pull me into his arms and take me away. My wolf stirred within me at the feelings he raised inside me but I controlled myself. I focused on Ryker, his blue eyes looking at my figure as if he could see through my clothes.

I acted unbothered and walked with my back straight and stepped casually, yet just as I walked up to the tform set up for us, his sharp aura immediately touched my wolf. I gasped secretly, my expression faltered as my heartbeat quickened with the brutal dominance and an unexpected possessiveness omitting from him. The feeling of stepping into his domain, and forever being chained to his darkness stole the breath from my lungs.

What was this feeling that I was getting from him again? It was not deadly or threatening like before. It seemed to have changed. The amount of dominance and…obsession?

    Why…obession? Why for me?

Holding my gaze he let me feel it all until I found myself standing in front of him. An Omega gestured for me to sit. Tearing my eyes from Ryker, I knelt in front of the wooden stump across him.

Everyone had silently taken their seats and eyes were on us. Except Finn. He was standing by the tree some distance from us where he had a clearer view than others.

“Alpha Ryker and Alpha Seth, I hope you know the rules,” Grace asked and this time there was no cheering and sneering from the Alphas.

“Of course,i” /iRyker replied, having his eyes fixed on me as he ced his elbow

    firmly on the stump first.

    Chapter 141 Tok Of Love

“Yes,” I replied, and just as I put my elbow on the stump Ryker’s hand sped mine. Palm to palm, the thumb locked around my hand. It was so sudden that I could not help but look at him. His grip was around my hand as if he meant to hold it forever.

His hands were strangely not rough, which would match his merciless personality. But it was firm, manly and strong. It wasrger than mine obviously, it swallowed my hand, making my lips purse when I realized ihow /ismall my hand was inparison to his.

“So soft,” he murmured softly, his thumb yfully brushing on mine. “I wonder how hot and soft it would feel against my skin…”

My wolf froze inside under his handsome smile and my heart began to race at his flirting. My eyes subconsciously flickered to Ronan once wondering if he heard Ryker.

“Since everyone knows the rules then let’s not not drag this out anymore. Let’s start!” Grace announced stepping aside while one of the warriors from the Academy yed the role of referee for the sake of fairness.

“Ready… Go!” On the referee’s signal the match begins.

I instantly felt how strong his arm was. His palm clutching mine was strong as if a mountain was behind it. It was my first time facing such a strong opponent and I hated ito /iadmit Ryker’s level of strength was more than one could describe in words. While I had my free hand gripping the peg on the stump for stability, Ryker never bothered to do so. He was just watching me as if admiring something while Ibined my wolf’s strength so as to not to be pinned down.

I wondered about the kind of life he lived and the training he had done to gain this kind of strength.

Watching me silently for a while he asked, “You want that scroll?b” /b

I blinked at him, “is that the question you should be asking when you are arm wrestling me for the scroll too?”

“Hmm? That is not the answer of my question,” he watched me with a mysterious amusement, “Tell me…” he reclined slightly and looked deep iinto /imy eyes, “you want the scroll?”

    Chopin 101 Teen GFL

I froze for a moment listening to his wolf. They both were talking to me. It was rare for a wolf to talk to someone other than their human. He sounded so sexy and dominating. The way he looked at me sent my heart racing abnormally.

I let my breath out slowly and casually said, “Yes, I want that scroll and I am not letting you….”

Before I could finish my sentence, I felt his iron–like grip loosening around mine. I stilled for a moment of confusion, “What are you doing?” I stared at him with wide eyes when I had every chance to rotate his hand and pin down.

The corner of his lips curled up, as he loosened his grippletely. “The scroll is yours,” he whispered and leaned down a little more, “have it as a token of you and I.”

My breath hitched at hisment as he suddenly clenched my hand harder and pinned his own arm down before I realized it. “A token of our love,” he whispered.

My heart skipped a beat, my eyes shaking and unable to tear themselves away under his wolf’s eyes. Token of our love?

He gave up the scroll just like that? For me?

In the background Grace cheered my name but my eyes flicked to Ronan not across the clearing but some distance from Ryker.

Phina froze inside me with the look in his eyes and my heart skipped another beat when i realized…

    He…heard it all.
