The evening glow was exceptionally beautiful today, and after getting off the bus, Faye Turner still had to walk 100 meters to The Fairy Tale Nook.

Seeing Faye enter alone, Shannon couldn’t help but look outside, disappointedly asking, "Where’s your husband? Why did you come alone?"

"Come on, I’m not here to flaunt my love," Faye smiled as she approached the counter, "How’s it today? Until what time do you have to stay open?"

Just then, Tanya brought out some freshly made desserts, "Faye! We’ve been closing around 11 lately, with quite a few girls coming in for photos."

"That’s good, I’ll give you all a raise for your hard work!"

"By the way, Rachel Sherman came in yesterday, and it seems she plans on returning to work like you," Shannon remarked, "The job market is so competitive now, I really admire both of you."

"I don’t have much choice; the household expenses are high, and the dessert shop barely keeps us afloat. You know, my brother is still in senior year of high school, which is costly."

However, Faye wasn’t aware of Rachel’s intention to return to work.

Rachel had just given birth less than half a year ago; if she truly planned to start working, her baby couldn’t be separated from her, right?

"I came for some ingredients to make desserts at home. Could you show me the stock?" Faye directly stated her purpose.

"Sure."

She approached the computer and saw the inventory had all the needed materials, "Everything’s well stocked?"

"Yes, there’s been a noticeable increase in visitors taking photos, which boosted popularity and created a positive cycle. When there’s sunlight, taking photos outside against the wall turns out beautifully."

Faye felt quite delighted hearing this, "Someday when I have some free time, I’ll redesign it so our shop becomes the prettiest dessert spot on this street!"

Before leaving, she picked up vanilla cotton candy, instant melt chocolate, pure milk, cocoa powder...

"Talia Tully, are you making the dessert for your husband?" Shannon asked curiously, "When will you bring him to the shop?"

Faye picked up the packed bag, "He’ll come when the time is right. I’m off now!"

After leaving The Fairy Tale Nook, Faye didn’t head directly to Aqua Flora Residences but instead strolled along the river.

She recalled there were a few Huangpi trees off in the near distance, and the dried bark from these trees, being fresh, is an excellent herbal medicine for treating old burns in combination with others.

No sooner had Faye left than Adrian Lancaster stopped outside The Fairy Tale Nook.

The white walls and blue windows, tinted by the setting sun, exuded a special romance. Enjoying the refreshing river breeze while eating desserts, one’s mood ought to be beautiful.

With a slight tilt of his head, the words ’The Fairy Tale Nook’ once again came into his view. Adrian withdrew his gaze and stepped inside.

His appearance not only surprised shop staff Tanya and Shannon but also captivated the female customers inside.

The man was notably tall, with handsome features.

The shirt he wore didn’t show its brand but appeared quite luxurious.

The presence of such a graceful man was so extraordinary that it’s rare to encounter such individuals.

"Hello, sir, may I help you with anything?" Tanya asked with a smile, "You can scan to order. There’s a vacant seat over there."

"Alright, thank you." It was Adrian Lancaster’s first time visiting this kind of small shop; he surveyed the surroundings, simple yet cozy.
