Edward White left the White Estate, originally planning to take Ella White for a paternity test... but something came up last minute.

The paternity test would have to wait for now.

He put on his jacket, went downstairs, and got into the sports car.

Ella White hurriedly chased after him: "Brother, where are you going? Take me with you!"

She had just taken an afternoon nap, feeling lazy with slightly messy hair, waking up to the sound of Edward’s footsteps, rushing out.

Edward looked at her indulgently: "Brother has something to do, be a good sister, and continue your nap."

These past few days, Edward hadn’t gotten angry with her.

And Ella hadn’t been clinging to him either, seemingly accepting the fact that he is her biological brother. She no longer overstepped boundaries or "sleepwalked" into his room.

Ella pouted: "Good brother, bring me some strawberries, will you?"

"Sure." Edward agreed with a nod, trying not to linger his gaze on her. He anticipated the paternity test, yet he feared it.

Whether related by blood, or not...

He got in the car, drove the sports car away, and sped off.

Ella watched him for a couple of moments, then turned back and went upstairs.

Edward found out after some inquiry that there was a strawberry farm in the city, very fresh.

He drove to the strawberry farm, humbling himself for the first time to pick strawberries, his actions were rough, pulling them out along with the leaves.

With the picked strawberries, he went to Ren’ai Hospital, taking a bag to see Eva Nightingale, and leaving another in the sports car to bring back for Ella.

Ren’ai Hospital had returned to its previous state, not a mess, but clean and orderly.

As soon as Edward arrived.

The dean personally received him, recounting everything that happened that day, in detail, to the point of dryness in his throat. Thinking back to the "battlefield" of that day, it still made him break out in a sweat.

Edward didn’t smile.

He was stunned!

Almost turned to stone!

He already envisioned the "battlefield" from that day, how filled with smoke it was, how terrifying it must have been.

His hand trembled, nearly dropping the strawberries.

The dean hesitated and said with utmost respect: "Young Master White! Miss Nightingale is carrying twins... and they’re stable now."

No one knew how many experts were swapped in that day.

The experts used all their lifelong knowledge, finally ensuring her safety, but Eva was too frail, sleeping for three days.

A full three days.

Today was the third day of nutrient infusion.

Her complexion looked much better.

She should be fine.

"She mustn’t be harmed, make sure she’s well, do you hear me?" Edward said, "Instruct the nutritionist to prepare more nourishing foods for pregnant women."
