CHAPTER 34: CHAPTER 34 THERE’S NOTHING TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS MAN

With a calm smile, he met the angry gaze of the other person, and slowly spoke, "What’s wrong with me?"

That rogue-like demeanor instantly made An Nan furious. She turned around angrily, not wanting to engage with this person any further.

Forget it, just treat it as being bitten by a cute little puppy.

An Nan didn’t make a fuss, but she was greatly dissatisfied in her heart. Yet, the other person acted as if he hadn’t noticed her rejection, continuing to follow her.

Finally, An Nan was angry. She suddenly turned around, but because the two were a distance apart, they didn’t collide.

Seeing An Nan stop, Lin Mubai quickly halted, still wearing a smiling face. He no longer exhibited the previous arrogance and cool demeanor. If it weren’t for his unchanged appearance and distinct voice, An Nan would have entirely believed the person in front of her had been swapped.

Finally stabilizing her emotions, suppressing her anger within, she stared impatiently at the person before her, "What exactly do you want? Do you know me?"

The man in front of her acted as if they were very familiar, forcing An Nan to think if they knew each other. But such an outstandingly exceptional man, surely she would remember meeting him. Yet, even after rummaging through all her memories, she couldn’t find any trace of memories related to this man. So where did it all go wrong?

An Nan now only felt she had hit a bottleneck, giving her a headache.

More troubling was figuring out how to get rid of this persistent man.

She had a strong feeling in her heart that her future would be entangled with this man.

This feeling was unpleasant, and she urgently needed to abandon it, preferably never to cross paths again.

Lin Mubai maintained a good-natured attitude throughout, his gaze never leaving the face of the person before him, "Shall we eat together?"

Although his tone was somewhat negotiable, An Nan completely felt this man was irresistible. However, she wasn’t without temper either. Having a meal was possible, but she had her insistence, "After the meal, do we go our separate ways?"

Lin Mubai continued to smile as he answered, "Yes."

A temporary parting, in the near future you will belong entirely to me.

This last sentence was kept within the scheming mind of Lin Mubai.

Slowly, the little bunny needs to be led into his cage; scaring her away immediately wouldn’t be good.

Bunnies can bite when upset, and he didn’t want to be bitten.

"Then hurry up."

An Nan completely adopted the stance of a swift battle, her gaze sweeping the mall before pointing upwards, "Let’s go to that Thai restaurant." She had been to Thailand before and quite liked it; it had been a while since she ate there. She was truly nostalgic, even if now it was to deal with this man; she didn’t want to short herself.

He shrugged indifferently. Where to eat didn’t matter to him, as long as he was with her.

This feeling was genuinely wonderful, so wonderful he wished to keep it forever.

The calm and uneventful heart, due to her sudden entrance, could never return to its previous tranquility.

An Nan glanced at the other person, walking ahead decisively. Wherever the handsome man went, he attracted attention. In just tens of steps, An Nan felt as if she was walking on a knife edge, subjected to the eyes of countless people.

Where did she go wrong? Clearly, this man was pestering her, was it not?

With a sense of anger in her heart, she entered the restaurant first. Led by the waiter, they were taken to a spot by the window, from which half of the city could be seen. In the evening, the rosy dawn painted the sky, utterly enchanting.
