Who Designed This Underworld Dungeon?

CHAPTER 603: CHAPTER 404: THE FAITH OF BELIEVERS IS BEING TESTED (PART 2)
If he had a few more teammates like this, he might go crazy. He quickly called for someone to stuff the mouths of those two with rags.
The injured were being treated nearby, while the ones who looked better surrounded the Limp Walker in a circle.
In the Priest’s filming, Divine Blessings’ Lica stepped forward, surrounded by nuns and priests. With a standard smile trained on his face, he enveloped the Monster in light emitted from his hands. The Monster’s body gradually dissolved in the light but made a comforting sound.
This scene had quite a mythical feel to it, with a strong religious flavor. Hade was very satisfied, thinking the bishop would also commend him.
But just as people were gradually relaxing, the previously well-behaved Limp Walker suddenly went berserk, twisting its flesh and lunging at Lica!
"Ah!"
Even with training to not react much to external stimuli, Lica couldn’t help but scream as the grotesque Monster was so close, causing him to involuntarily lean backward!
"Swoosh—"
A flash of a knife light streaked past, and the Limp Walker fell to the ground as if hit by something, its body slowly turning into ashes.
Albud saw it clearly; it was a knife light that suddenly appeared in the air, and it seemed to be a black knife?
Which means, the invisible expert has returned?
People immediately felt like they had regained their backbone, gathering to express continuous thanks, and Hade even went over to flatter, but only Albud kept a sullen face, seemingly really displeased.
The invisible expert reached out to pull Lica up, about to help him to his feet, but Hade couldn’t help but exclaim, "What a kind-hearted strong individual."
"Thud," the invisible expert tossed Lica back down again, who had just risen halfway and once more fell to the ground.
Hade was suddenly at a loss for words, frustrating himself. Upon closer look, oh, so Lica had wet his pants!
Seeing the Divine Blessings sitting tremblingly, Hade immediately showed a look of disgust, beckoning a nearby nun to come and handle it, he complained:
"What’s up with the bishop’s training, pissing himself upon entering, speaking of which, letting this guy who was just an average person not long ago come in is indeed a hassle... Hey, stop filming, are you trying to turn the Church into a laughing stock?"
The Priest responsible for filming was about to turn off the Image Stone, just then, his shoulder was patted by the air, and the invisible expert actually took away his Image Stone.
"Uh?" The Priest was puzzled, "Do you want to film?"
The invisible expert didn’t speak, but the Priest didn’t know what to do and looked toward Hade. Hade couldn’t understand what the expert wanted, so he just shrugged.
If the expert wanted to film, let him, maybe the quality would be better.
After changing Lica’s pants, applying a few calming techniques, people hastily organized the casualties and set forth once more, searching for lone Monsters for Lica to film.
Albud followed at the rear, glancing at the previously cracked ground thanks to the Prophet, the underground completely dark. How did the invisible expert jump up?
He looked ahead, trying to find traces of the expert, but after a long while, he still failed to find anything.
Something’s not right; although the expert is invisible, the air around her should have slight ripples, which should be evident with careful observation...
But now, the air was utterly calm.
Strange, did the expert fall down once, climb back up, and improve her invisibility technique?
Albud was full of suspicion, but he still followed along.
The dark area wasn’t big, they might have traversed a quarter of it by now. Just a few more promotional materials to film would suffice. Hopefully, Sain would pull off something before they leave.
The brutal Priest, no one knew when, tore off the rags blocking his mouth, and his foul-mouthed words echoed through the air.
This was truly a pleasure.

Meanwhile, deeper within the Underground Maze.
The real invisible expert, who had fallen due to the ground collapsing, was momentarily engaged in a battle.
This was a brown-haired woman with remarkably striking features, eyes filled with the piety, adherence to doctrine, and reverence for God that religious people often possess, which combined to lend her naturally pretty face a stern air.
This was indeed a true fanatic.
She had no name, only a codename "Bright Light" given by the Archbishop, symbolizing the light guiding Path Seekers forward.
The Holy Light Church would secretly train the most talented individuals, turning them into the Church’s sharpest "weapons," and Bright Light was one such person. She obeyed the Church unquestioningly, executing the Archbishop’s orders faithfully, and among the "weapons," she was the most faithful, which was why she was dispatched to escort weapons to Bed City.
She harbored extreme disdain for pagans, having come to Bed City several times wanting to directly beat up Starfire and Dark Moon followers, but had to remain in the Church’s secret room. This time, Bishop Bed persuaded her into joining the Lightless Maze to relieve some pressure.
Bright Light also wished to use her faith to purify this filthy dungeon, and thus she entered Sain with the mindset of a preacher.
However, now the bright light seemed to be tainted.
"These Monsters... why won’t they die!"
Upon falling into the deeper underground, Bright Light engaged with the attacking Monsters, without yet reaching a conclusion!
The Monster she faced was called "Invisible Flesh," appearing as a mass of piled-up flesh, resembling a colored small version of Elderly. It could split off pig heads, hearts, tentacles, spines, etc., to attack adventurers, each part having its own abilities.
Yet for Bright Light, they all shared a single capability — hard to kill!
Bright Light specialized in using various Holy Light Magic to assist swordsmanship, ending adversaries with an Enchanted Longsword, extremely effective against Undead type Monsters. Invisible Flesh appeared to be an Undead type Monster, it should have been highly effective.
But for some unknown reason, even after endlessly dismantling its grotesquely formed organs, they would continuously regenerate, each time more bizarrely than the last.
Even just a glance at the pig head made her spirit mildly tremble, prompting her to close her eyes and rely on her senses to slay the Monster.
"Holy Light, please protect my spirit."
She uttered a devout prayer, and as if Holy Light truly descended, her heart filled with the Divine statue of the Holy Light God, and the mental disturbance from the bizarre Monster appearance immediately calmed.
"Holy Light will protect me and dispel evil!"
She was engulfed in a layer of Holy Light, resembling an angelic descent, erupting once more with powerful combat prowess, and went on a rampage amidst the flesh.
Each fanatic dedicates their whole being to the Holy Light; they are its most devout servants, never betraying their faith, and even drawing power from it.
The Invisible Flesh’s regeneration slowed; victory was within reach!
"Sinful dungeon, I judge you on behalf of the Holy Light! Cleanse your sins!"
Bright Light raised her Longsword high, glorious Holy Light erupted, about to end the Invisible Flesh with a final strike.
She had already decided that after this, she would apply to the Archbishop for a complete purification of this filthy dungeon!
A light suddenly emerged in the dark Lightless Maze.
But it wasn’t Holy Light, rather...
A blinding red moonlight!
The move about to be unleashed by Bright Light suddenly stalled; she witnessed an unprecedented spectacle.
A blood-colored moon was rising within the Underground Maze.
The crimson moonlight painted everything in a blood-like hue; even though light should relax those in darkness, the moment the blood moon appeared, even Bright Light felt fear.
Something seemed to change in the Lightless Maze...
Invisible Flesh became livelier than ever before, its size growing immense, splitting into dozens of diverse organs; grotesque flesh intertwined, indescribable!
"No matter what changes occur, Holy Light will—"
Before she finished her determined words, Bright Light’s psyche felt like it was struck by a hammer, the Holy Light gathering on her Longsword dissipated as a result, and the abrupt end of the magic caused her body to stiffen!
At her most vulnerable moment, built-up pressure surged forth, subjecting her to a sudden trial.
[Bright Light’s conviction is being tested]
The outcome was certain, her negative emotions erupted.
It was [selfishness]!
"What has the Holy Light given me; why should I believe in it? It has stolen my life!"
"Don’t look at what I can do for the Holy Light, see what it can do for me!"
"I should not be defined!"
At that moment, Bright Light awakened.
