    The young man dragged him into a corner, then pulled out his phone and looked up Brian online.

    “Holy shit!” the man gasped. “He’s actually famous online!”

    He excitedly shoved his phone in his buddy’s face. “Dude, can you believe it? We actually kidnapped the heir of Noxen Group! We’re fucking legends!”

    As he spoke, he crouched in front of Brian, pinched his chin and forced his face up. The man sneered, “Hey, look at this delicate little faceb. /bbAlready /bbin /bmiddle school? Wonder how much we could get for you.”

    The other man finally snapped. “This is Hamlin’s turf. If you’ve got a death wish, just say it straight.”

    As soon as he finished speaking, the door to the room swung open. A bodyguard entered with a tray of food, took one look at the man crouched bin /bbfront /bof Brian, and kicked him aside without hesitation. “I thought the boss had made it crystal clear to you people,” the bodyguard snapped.

    Doug Ryan rolled on the ground, fuming. “You motherfucker!” he shouted.

    The bodyguard gave them a once–over, set the food down on the table, and said coldly, “Our boss has no intention of targeting the Masons. If byou /bcan’t handle this, you’ll rot in prison while we find recements.”

    As he spoke, the bodyguard nced at Brian lying on the floor. “Unbind Mr. Mason. There’s an adjoining room here, lock him in there.”

    He turned to Brian again and said stiffly, “Don’t worry, we won’t hurt you. We just need you here to talk terms. I’ll bring your food over in a bit.”

    With that, he turned and left the room.
