CHAPTER 1163: A BAD TURN

"What can I even do at this point? I’ve already lost everything. If I don’t do something now, then there won’t be anything for me to do in the future when I lose all of my power. If my father doesn’t want to pass things to me, then I’ll destroy the entire Deng Family."

"Father, what are you talking about?" Deng You asked her father Deng Xuan.

Deng Tong however had a very heavy look on his face as he said, "Father, if we do this now...there’s no going back."

Deng Xuan cursed before saying, "If we don’t do this, then there will be no future for any of us. You heard what father said, it’s clear what he plans to do with us. Are you saying that we should just accept it?"

Deng Tong looked over at his wife and children that had also been brought here.

The three of them looked terrified at what was happening.

His son was even rambling at this point at trying to think of a way out of this place.

With a sigh, Deng Tong said, "Father, since we’re doing this, we should cause as much noise as possible so we can find a chance to escape. They won’t care about us, they’ll just use us to create this mess and then leave us to die."

Deng Xuan calmed down a bit when Deng Tong said this before nodding in agreement.

Both Deng Tong and Deng Xuan had bitter looks on their faces after this was said.

But he could still see the hesitation that was in Mu Bao Bao’s eyes, so he added, "It’s not as if bringing him back will change anything. He’s already handed the throne over to you and made his place here. If anything, it’ll be better for them to stay here until they can stabilize the situation here."

Mu Bao Bao still seemed to hesitate, but she eventually nodded in agreement.

Mu Bao Bao knew that everything that Lin Fan said was the truth, but it was hard for her to leave now that she had met her parents.

Though she hadn’t forgiven them yet, it wasn’t as if she could remain angry with them forever.

They were still the only parents that she had in this world, even if she had never been with them before...

After a long silence, Mu Bao Bao finally said, "Is there anything that you can do to help them stabilize the Deng Family sooner?"

Lin Fan couldn’t help shaking his head with a faint smile before saying, "I’ve already assigned the True Fire Squad and the Wisteria Squad to this matter. They won’t do too much, but they can at least provide support to the Deng Family during this time."

Mu Bao Bao was surprised to hear this before she revealed a grateful look.

She knew that he had been silently taking care of everything behind her back during this time and she couldn’t help feeling a bit guilty about it.

"They said that if anything happened, they entrusted us to take you away from this place and that they would come back right away." Hong Xi added.

Lin Fan nodded to show that he understood before turning to look at Mu Bao Bao.

He could see the worried look that was on her face, but he said, "We should leave."

Mu Bao Bao turned to look at him as if she didn’t want to do this, but Lin Fan said, "We’ll just get in the way if we try to do anything. You have to remember that this is the Deng Family and the ancestor is someone in the Rebirth Realm. If someone is bold enough to attack the Deng Family, don’t you think that they would know this as well? They must be ready to deal with the ancestor of the Deng Family as well."

Mu Bao Bao had already figured this out as well, it was just that she was worried about her parents.
