Wizard: I Have a Game Panel
Chapter 30: Microscope Witchcraft Limit Break, Clarity of the Path
CHAPTER 30: CHAPTER 30: MICROSCOPE WITCHCRAFT LIMIT BREAK, CLARITY OF THE PATH
"Panel, Sea of Consciousness Microscope Limit Break!"
Having not found any issues, Lor finally made up his mind to break the limit of the microscope once.
[Sea of Consciousness Microscope (0.9 Ring) → Sea of Consciousness Microscope (0.9+0.1 Ring) (Can Break Limit, No One-Ring Elemental Position, Cannot Upgrade)]
[Charge Point 21522, 52% → 11210, 11%]
At this moment, the Sea of Consciousness Microscope began to vibrate continuously, reorganizing itself, and its original structure underwent a massive transformation.
Even the Elemental Domain was stirred with ripples, and the Earth and Fire Elements were in constant turmoil.
About three minutes later, the Sea of Consciousness returned to calm. Lor looked with his Spiritual Power toward the rune model of the Sea of Consciousness Microscope.
The current microscope model had undergone a tremendous change.
The originally bloated and crude structure had become streamlined and meticulous.
An aura different from the other models permeated the microscope model.
This aura would only be emitted after the runic power was elevated to one ring. Now, its essence was still at apprentice level, so it had no effect on Lor.
"Now I should be able to clearly see the operational structure of elemental molecules."
Lor’s Spiritual Power surged into the microscope model, and this time, the molecular structure of the elements was completely visible to him.
"The elemental molecules in the Fireball Technique rune model are very active, constantly in intense motion."
He looked at the Fireball Technique model and found that the trajectory of the elemental molecules was both beautiful and volatile.
"The molecules in the Earth-Fire Traction rune model are somewhat different, seemingly containing some kind of pattern."
Comparing the differences in molecular trajectories between the two witchcraft models, a realization rose in his heart.
"My previous adjustments were too rough, merely barely connecting the two witchcrafts, no wonder it failed," Lor mused.
"In fact, I should start from the operational pattern of Earth-Fire Traction Technique molecules, integrate it into the Fireball Technique model, and coordinate the two to draw the lava."
"The microcosmic world is indeed wonderful; I should have broken the microscope model’s limit ten days ago, but it’s not too late now."
Taking a light breath, Lor began to observe and compare the patterns of Earth-Fire Traction Technique and Fireball Technique, trying to find the intersection between the two.
Every time he discovered an opportunity, he would jot it down on parchment.
Unconsciously, he’d filled over a dozen sheets of parchment with intersections.
The clock on the wall quietly moved to 7 a.m.
"Finally done."
Exhausted from a night’s work, Lor withdrew his Spiritual Power from the Sea of Consciousness, looking at the parchment-strewn table with immense excitement.
This excitement was not only because he discovered the primary elemental molecule intersections of the two witchcrafts, but also because he saw a clear path ahead.
In his past life as a player, even though he could see the bloodline runes inside his body using Microscope Witchcraft, he couldn’t comprehend them, as if there was a barrier of understanding, relying only on intuition to slightly increase the success rate of Witchcraft Fusion.
But now it’s different; he can fully understand the mysteries within these molecular trajectories.
"Next, I just need to fuse these recorded intersections on the parchments, and there’s a 90% chance of guiding a small-scale magma eruption witchcraft fusion," Lor smiled.
As for the remaining 10%, it was left to the novices... other apprentices for verification.
Without a 100% guarantee, he would definitely not attempt the fusion himself.
Stretching lazily, Lor glanced at the clock on the wall.
"It’s already 7 a.m.; Kateya should arrive with people in an hour. I must hurry to complete the final touches."
No time to rest, Lor busied himself once again, integrating the unstructured elemental molecule intersections on the parchments into a fusion sequence comprehensible to others.
...
"Knock, knock, knock~"
An hour later, there was a knock on the laboratory door.
Lor put down his pen and walked to the lab entrance to open the door.
What came into view was Kateya holding a tray, with a middle-aged woman with a few freckles on her face behind her.
"Sir Lor, I’ve brought the person," Kateya handed over the tray and pointed to the middle-aged woman, "Sherris, Second-level Apprentice, Spiritual Power 12.5."
"Sec...second-level apprentice?"
Sherris was a little stunned on seeing the two horizontal lines on Lor’s collar.
From the words of the third-level apprentice who brought her, it was clear that the second-level apprentice in front of her was indeed the owner of the laboratory.
But she’d only heard that the lab owners were usually Wizards, never expecting the door to be opened by a second-level apprentice when she actually got there.
"Hmm, come in." Lor nodded, ignoring Sherris’s shock, took the tray and led the two women into the laboratory.
After placing the tray on the desk, he picked up a strict contract and handed it to Sherris, "Take a look, and if there are no issues, sign it."
The contract stipulated: 1. The contract signer is prohibited from using learned witchcraft to attack the witchcraft instructor.
2. The acquired witchcraft model must not be imparted to others in any form.
3. The witchcraft model must not be recorded in any manner.
4. Within (9) years, the contract signer is prohibited from performing the taught witchcraft without the instructor’s permission.
Violators will suffer soul destruction.
This soul contract was crafted by a one-ring bloodline wizard proficient in soul direction, with each valued at 100 contribution points, binding for wizard apprentices.
Moreover, it can only be purchased with laboratory funds, with strict control over each contract’s destination, used exclusively for experimental witchcraft, with only the fourth clause changeable and the rest immutable.
This is the upper class’s restraint on lower-level apprentices and a form of protection.
The fourth clause can be filled up to 50 years; Lor filled it to 9 years as a small gesture of goodwill.
"Alright," Sherris took the contract, quickly glanced over it, and signed it.
She already knew about this kind of contract and understood the rules.
"Okay, take a look at these three parchments."
Lor picked up three parchments on the desk and handed them to Sherris, "Memorize the two witchcrafts and follow the fusion sequence."
The three parchments documented the Fireball Technique model, Earth-Fire Traction Technique model, and the Dual Witchcraft Fusion Sequence.
"Sir... Sir Lor," Sherris said timidly, "I’ve already learned the Fireball Technique."
"That’s good news," Lor smiled, "Now you just need to memorize the Earth-Fire Traction Technique and fuse them."
He didn’t mention reducing the cost, as Fusion Witchcraft indeed requires expending two Witchcraft Positions.
The Wizard Alliance had already established that experimental fusion witchcraft must pay 500 contribution points to the tester.
"Yes," Sherris nodded, starting to memorize the Earth-Fire Traction Technique model while standing by.
"Sit down to memorize; standing is inconvenient," Lor pointed to the stone chair opposite the desk.
"Thank you, Sir Lor," Sherris thanked him and sat on the chair.
"This person really can’t relax, just like the one two days ago," Lor thought to himself, "Can’t compare to that first-level apprentice during the Microscope experiment."
In reality, he only considered the difference in their levels and forgot about the disparity in experimental locations.
Apprentice dorms and personal laboratories are two entirely different concepts.
