Wizard: I Have a Game Panel
Chapter 33: Departure
CHAPTER 33: CHAPTER 33: DEPARTURE
After giving the Divine Power Crystal to Lor, Agular didn’t ask Lor for the Small Lava Eruption Technique, he just left directly.
That thing is ultimately just an apprentice-level witchcraft, not much help to him.
After seeing Agular off, Lor returned to his bedroom, looking at the five Divine Power Crystals in his hand, exuding a terrifying aura, a new plan formed in his mind.
"Becoming a third-level apprentice early is actually a good thing."
Now his attack aspect is fully developed, but his defense is still somewhat lacking.
"Hmm, fusing the Rock Wall with Adaptive Witchcraft might create a pseudo-first-ring Defense Shield."
This witchcraft is not too famous, he had only heard of it in passing in his past life, so he is not very sure if it’s real.
"There are still fourteen days before the Divine Kingdom competition starts, with 3700 points of research funding left, I can experiment 5 times, and try it once I advance to a third-level apprentice."
Having made up his mind, Lor stopped overthinking, grasping a Divine Power Crystal and began absorbing.
"Feels so good."
The Divine Power from the Crystal was absorbed into his mind via the Meditation Technique, and he only felt like his entire Sea of Consciousness was wrapped in a cool lake.
Ice-cool and extremely comfortable.
...
Meanwhile, outside Lor’s laboratory.
Several first-ring wizards silently walked out of their laboratories, casting their gazes towards the direction of Lor’s laboratory.
They were all disturbed by the unique pressure exuded by the Divine Power Crystal and came out specifically to see which colleague was so extravagant.
Only to be shocked to discover that the pressure came from Lor’s laboratory.
"Why did Agular give a student like him a Divine Power Crystal?" A gray-haired female wizard sensed the wave of Divine Power, her face puzzled.
Divine Power Crystals are not cheap, 1 gram costs 1000 contribution points, giving it to an apprentice only serves to enhance Spiritual Power, a sheer waste.
As for other development directions, an apprentice has no way to research.
"Hey, Aililuo, didn’t you read the announcement this month?"
Outside the opposite laboratory, a middle-aged wizard laughed, "The High Council plans to hold an apprentice Divine Kingdom exploration competition, the rewards are extremely generous, even with space equipment, I’m tempted."
"I reckon that Agular intends for Lor to go in and compete, that’s why he gave him these Divine Power Crystals."
"Agular is really generous." An old voice came from another direction:
"Lor’s talent is arguably the highest in the current Earth and Fire Faction, he dares to let this little guy enter that meat grinder, not afraid of him being trapped in there."
"Lor’s talent is indeed quite outstanding."
Hearing this, the middle-aged wizard Toralf nodded slightly with some emotion, "Hope he can come out smoothly from there, otherwise it would be our Nelson Wizard Tower’s loss."
After finishing his words, he didn’t linger, directly returned to his laboratory, found the Communication Ball, and sent a message to his student.
Putting down the Communication Ball, Toralf’s lips slightly curled, "The Earth and Fire Faction really rise, what should we Earth and Water Faction do?"
Currently, in the Nelson Wizard Tower, neither the Earth and Fire Faction nor the Earth and Water Faction has a Third Ring Great Wizard.
He wouldn’t want to watch as a Third Ring Great Wizard appears in the Earth and Fire Faction.
Although he can’t directly take action, stirring up some trouble isn’t an issue.
...
On the tenth floor of the Wizard Tower, in a specially requested laboratory.
"Sir Randolph, I have some news about Lor to tell you." A pretty blue-haired girl in a yellow and blue wizard robe said with a smile.
"Let’s hear it." Randolph, clad in a red and yellow wizard robe, said calmly with a rather tall figure.
"Just now, Wizard Agular gave Lor..." The girl relayed all the information from her mentor.
"I know, you may leave." Randolph gestured towards the closed laboratory door and said.
"You really are..."
The girl wanted to make a few jokes, but upon seeing Randolph’s somber face, she swallowed her words back, and obediently left the laboratory.
"Sowing discord, huh?" Randolph’s mouth twitched, but he found that he couldn’t smile, "Those are Divine Power Crystals!"
"This Divine Kingdom competition might be my only chance." A trace of gloom flashed in his eyes.
Before Lor arrived, as the only apprentice with a laboratory in the Earth and Fire faction, he was quite valued by the first-ring wizards.
But since Lor’s arrival, he could clearly perceive the change in attitude from the first-ring wizards.
And after hearing that Lor had directly become a student of a second-ring wizard and also obtained ownership of a permanent laboratory, a sense of jealousy began brewing in his heart.
...
On the other side of the Murphy Continent, in an entirely black Wizard Tower.
"Saul, the trial Divine Kingdom chosen by our Murphy Continent is the Dark Divine Kingdom, this is very beneficial for you, don’t let me down."
A middle-aged wizard shrouded in black mist, wearing a black wizard robe, said softly.
"I won’t let you down, mentor." In front of him, a gray-haired boy named Saul, also wearing a black wizard robe, replied confidently.
He himself is an apprentice of the Dark Divine Power Faith Faction, absolutely able to exert first-ring battle power in the God of Darkness’s Divine Kingdom.
...
In the center of the Murphy Continent, on the top floor of an entirely red Wizard Tower.
"Grandpa, I want to participate in the Divine Kingdom competition." An approximately eight-year-old child in a red wizard robe said coquettishly.
"Why do you want to go to the Divine Kingdom competition?"
In front of the child, an ordinary-looking old man squatted down, asked with a smile, "You’re not short of those resources, aren’t you?"
"I heard it’s very lively there." The child blinked, "I want to go and see."
"Alright." The old man patted the child’s head indulgently, said, "After all, no apprentice can threaten you, you can go if you want to see."
"Thank you, grandpa."
...
Thirteen days later.
On the fifteenth floor of the Earth Element Wizard Tower, Lor’s laboratory.
"Phew~" Lor looked at the newly fused rune model in his Sea of Consciousness, exhaling a breath of relief, "Finally completed it before the Divine Kingdom competition begins."
For this model, he failed four times in total, exhausting entire 2900 points of research funding.
"With this thing, my ability to protect myself has greatly improved, it wasn’t in vain." Lor smiled.
Then his thoughts shifted, looking up to the ceiling, a trace of curiosity flashed in his eyes, "I wonder how we will enter the Divine Kingdom later, the current Wizard Alliance doesn’t have something like a Space Transmission Array."
"Knock knock knock~"
Just then, there was a knock on the door outside the laboratory.
Lor got up to open the door, only to see Fley’s face come into view, accompanied by more than a hundred third-level apprentices wearing red and yellow wizard robes standing behind him.
Among them were familiar faces to Lor, like Lus, Tia, etc.
Kateya was not among these people, as she already had a secure grasp on advancing to a first-ring wizard, and Lor no longer needed her protection.
"Wizard Fley." Lor greeted with a smile.
"Hmm, let’s head to the top of the tower together, Lord Nelson will send you into the Divine Kingdom." Fley nodded and said.
