Wizard: I Have a Game Panel
Chapter 70: First Marking Mission Complete
CHAPTER 70: CHAPTER 70: FIRST MARKING MISSION COMPLETE
"Don’t worry, focus on your training and strive to become a Second Ring Wizard as soon as possible." Spirit showed a gentle smile, transmitting his words through spiritual power.
He felt uneasy about sending young Levan out for training with just one ring.
Even though Yasen, the Speaker, had provided him a trump card, ensuring his safety wouldn’t be an issue.
But if he used the trump card for regular training, he might get scolded severely by Speaker Yasen.
And that’s not all—if that person seized the opportunity to disable his space-marking ability, the loss would be too great.
"Understood, Mentor."
Seeing Spirit’s gentle demeanor, Levan breathed a sigh of relief and then said, "According to my study schedule, I should be able to formally break through to the Second Ring in another three years."
Levan had plenty of Divine Power Crystals, and if he wanted to enhance his spiritual power, it would be easy to reach the limit.
Unfortunately, a wizard’s breakthrough isn’t just about reaching spiritual power limits.
Even with inheritance, breaking through to the Second Ring or Third Ring isn’t hard, but recklessly attempting such moves could make the barrier between Third Ring and Fourth Ring surprisingly difficult, with one major hurdle being understanding runes.
After all, if you haven’t thoroughly understood each stage of the rune models you construct, how can you seize the opportunity to converge them into the final leap?
At that point, failure in breaking through would turn you into a complete waste.
However, wizards who carve their own paths don’t have to worry about this. Every step they take is explored on their own, and their understanding of runes is deeply ingrained.
Including Spirit, every step of Rune Construction was painstakingly combined and fused by himself, directly overcoming that hurdle.
"Yes, give it your best effort." Spirit nodded, ensuring to encourage.
"Yes, Mentor." Levan responded, and with a bit of reluctance, pulled out a few pages of parchment from his Space Ring and began reading intently.
He couldn’t understand why, during the agreed-upon rest time, the mentor was still urging him to study.
Seeing this, Spirit’s lips moved slightly, intending to say that wasn’t what he meant.
Yet seeing Levan immerse in study, he chose not to disturb, instead turning his attention to the Marking Demon Artifact in his hand.
On the Marking Demon Artifact, faint green light was emerging, indicating marking completion, and the blue Sea Fish population below met the Third Tier standards.
"200,000 Contribution Points secured." Spirit’s lips curved gently, "In less than a day, reaping such a reward so effortlessly proves this is a beneficial task."
He took out the Communication Board, clicked on the ’Rationing’ section, and submitted the task after the special task at the top.
The next moment, a light screen automatically opened before Spirit.
A female wizard draped in a purple Wizard Robe, with long blue hair and a stunning appearance appeared on the opposite side of the light screen.
"Hello, Lor Wizard, I am Kara Jona."
Observing Spirit’s Wizard Robe, the blue-haired female wizard showed a slight surprise in her eyes, fleeting though, she smiled and said:
"I am now responsible for verifying the completion status of your exploration mission. Please present your Marking Demon Artifact in front of the Communication Board."
Even when facing Spirit, a wizard clad in Earth and Fire Faction First Ring Wizard Robe, she spoke courteously.
After all, those who could receive exploration missions were all wizards with a profound background.
No matter what, breaking through the Third Ring is not a hurdle; it’s just a matter of time.
"Alright." Spirit nodded, raised his left hand, and displayed the Marking Demon Artifact for Kara to see.
Kara scrutinized the green light on the Marking Demon Artifact, ensured no discrepancies, and then performed some operations on the Communication Board, stating:
"Okay, 200,000 Contribution Points are issued, please check."
Spirit put away the Marking Demon Artifact, retrieved his identity card and checked; indeed, the 200,000 Contribution Points had been credited, he immediately smiled and said, "Thank you, Lady Kara."
"No need to thank me, it’s my duty." Kara slightly shook her head, "Task transfer completed, I wish you smoother progress ahead."
Saying this, she directly disconnected the communication.
Though it is worth marveling that a First Ring Wizard completed a task so quickly, it stops there.
At present, only a dozen Third Ring Wizards have completed the mission, in a few days things will change.
Currently, most Third Ring Wizards venture deeper into the Endless Sea; finding two to three Third Tier Sea Fish populations a day after reaching the depths is no issue at all, efficiency far exceeding that in the Shallow Sea Area.
After disconnecting, Spirit casually checked the rankings.
First Place: Marlot Will
Third Tier Sea Race found: 6
Second Place: Emily Harman
Third Tier Sea Race found: 1
Fourth Tier Sea Race: 1
Third Place: Yuo Shiteh
Third Tier Sea Race found: 5
...
Fifth Place: Lava Mouka
Third Tier Sea Race found: 2
...
Seventeenth Place: Lor Rox
Third Tier Sea Race found: 1
"Incredible, someone already found a Fourth Tier Sea Race." Spirit was somewhat surprised looking at the second place’s mission completion.
Completing a Fourth Tier Sea Race marking could earn you 1,000,000 Contribution Points.
However, benefits come with drawbacks.
Although the Fourth Ring Scrolls can be reimbursed, it might take three years to acquire them.
In the meantime, most Third Ring Wizards who have used up their scrolls would likely not dare to linger in the Deep Sea Area.
Otherwise, encountering another Fourth Tier Sea Beast could spell doom.
Thus, whether meeting a Fourth Tier Sea Race is good or bad remains uncertain.
Avoiding further observation, Spirit stowed his Communication Board, piloting the spaceship onward, continuing to search the whereabouts of the next Third Tier Sea Fish group.
...
On the first day of delving into the Endless Sea, Spirit encountered five Second Tier Sea Fish and Sea Beasts, and one Third Tier Sea Fish.
Unfortunately, except for the second Sea Fish, none had a population.
For instance, Spirit tailed that Third Tier Sea Fish for half an hour, ultimately seeing it dwindle into a small coral group to recover.
Beside it only some non-tiered sea fish, not deemed a population.
The other two Second Tier Sea Fish and Sea Beasts were in similar situations to the Third Tier Sea Fish.
As for First Tier, Spirit couldn’t be bothered.
Many First Tier Sea Fish were accidental advancements; trailing fifty might not even reveal a group.
Even if a group is found, it most likely won’t be a Third Tier Sea Race population.
After a day of wandering, the total earned was 20,000 Contribution Points.
...
Day Seven, no yields.
...
Day Fifteen, found one Sea Fish group, gained 20,000 Contribution Points.
"In half a month, I earned sixty thousand Contribution Points in total." Spirit completed the task and viewed the Contribution Points balance on his identity card with some satisfaction.
Sixty thousand in half a month, that’s 1,440,000 a year, exceeding the gains he garnered in the Divine Kingdom.
And that’s not his limit, after another two years when he becomes a Second Ring Wizard, doubling his Contribution Points earning efficiency is a modest estimate.
Worth mentioning, his rank on the leaderboard had plummeted to over two thousand, a stark contrast from his initial seventeenth placement.
"No rush, it’ll not be long." Spirit remained calm internally, "I have one goal, to become Third Ring combat capability before the Abyss invasion, considering the current contribution point acquisition efficiency, it’s absolutely achievable."
