CHAPTER 124: INVASION

Liana was puzzled for a moment, but her mind was surely on something else and her priorities were different, so she rushed to the elevator to receive a cart that moved floating instead of on wheels.

*WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...*

"It seems that darkness is coming..." I murmured.

Although my eyes were on Liana, as I thought of Silent Hill. Suddenly a light went on in my brain.

I then ran out to the outside of the Penthouse and instantly took flight to the next moment of spreading my fairy wings.

"Vremya! What’s going on?" Liana screamed from below as she watched me fly.

"It’s the earthquake alarm!! Liana, have your hotel manager evacuate guests!"

"Alarm? Earthquake? What’s that??"

"Just do as I tell you!"

"Vremya! Hold on!! Damn!!" Liana turned around as she said a few things to the boy who brought the food.

The boy, although puzzled, ran to the elevator and went down quickly. Maybe I should remind the city administration to teach that in case of emergency the elevators should not be used...

Liana took the cart that contained our food to the house, but for my part, I soared higher into the sky to have a view of the city.

Then, a golden sparrow appeared next to me. Quickly grab the piece of paper in her claws.

[Vremya. Are you testing the alarm from the underground sensors?]

There was nothing more to it than this question. But I knew who the sender was when I met the golden sparrow.

[No. Attack, Vig Fysan District]

I replied quickly, folded the piece of paper, and wrote the name of the headmistress of the Royal Academy. A pure white sparrow appeared, took the paper, and disappeared after flying a few meters.

"Vremya!" Liana came out of the house and shouted at me from below.

I sent one of the three projections of little fairies floating beside me toward Liana. The fairy circled around three times, throwing small specks of light on Liana.

After three laps the fairy disappeared. A new fairy appeared next to me and Liana began to float.

"ah, AH, AH! What did you do to me?" Liana started kicking in the air and I thought it was very funny.

"Calm down, I just gave you some Fairy Dust so you could fly, feel the energy I lent you, try to control it and make it take you to me," I explained to Liana.

As Liana began to spin and grope as if swimming, I saw sparrows begin to appear on the main street of the Pleasure District.

The National Guard began to mobilize quickly and people were bewildered. No one knew what was going on except the National Guard.

Women in armor of mail and plates with long spears went to every store and business to explain. Some people listened to members of the National Guard, but others seemed unimportant.

"Vremya, what’s wrong?"

"We are under attack"

"Why don’t we go down to the street?" Liana said a little uncomfortable as she was floating at a great height.

"Nn. We can’t even know where they’re going to come from..." I Shake my head. I’ve taken ten breaths since the alarm started sounding.

Then, a light shone in the sky and a blue dome covered the entire city.

"This..." both Liana and I and everyone below was surprised.

With this sample now everyone is sure of what is happening.

As we looked at the blue energy dome, a few dots quickly appeared and grew larger as they fell in the direction of the city.

*POOM* *POOM* *POOM* *POOM* *POOM* *POOM* *POOM* *POOM*

Eight large objects the size of houses crashed into the city’s force field. They looked like closed cocoons, dark gray and black, with black tentacles that moved strangely.

With the impact, the people below in the streets began to get scared and now they were following the instructions of the members of the National Guard.

"Vremya..."

"It’s not over," I said, now with my eyes open to spatial perception.

The impact had semi-obstructed the view of the sky filling the air with dust and bits of strange objects. But behind them came some flying beings.

First, some small units appeared, but in large numbers. I mean small because the creatures that appeared behind in my vision are much larger.

By the time the dust was accented, these small units had already arrived and slammed into the city’s energy shield.

With my normal sight and my spatial sight I could appreciate its shape, it is about two meters in size, like a larva, with two wings with membranes that look fragile and thin but the surface of its skin is covered by chitin as well as the entire body of the creature.

They have a worm-mouth-shaped opening in the front with many sharp teeth and on the underside of their body they appear to have a spear-like protrusion with a finger-like joint and a sharp claw. It is also dark gray and with black tentacles sprouting horribly from its body.

"Scourge Zerg..." I muttered as I watched as they slammed into the city’s energy shield.

Behind the Scourges came other flying units characteristic of the Swarm Race. Mutalisks...

"Drwgynen Explosives!

The Aliens are attacking us!!" Liana next to me, now she was as stiff as a board, she exclaimed in surprise.

As I finished writing on more pieces of paper, the ground below us began to shake and the people on the street screamed.

My white sparrow took the letters just as a hole opened in the square in front of the great statue of the Hero Queen.

I flew quickly towards the square, falling like a glider. Thanks to my control of the air, I reached the square in less than half a second.

I sent all my little fairies flying and toasting fairy dust in the area where I had already found the tunnel saving the people in the square from certain death by falling.

"AH!"

"Mom!"

"I’m flying"

"..."

A series of exclamations could be heard as I used the air current to pull all the people out.

In the half-second later, the hole in the ground rapidly expanded and the entire ground of a section of the square sank into the void.

And in the next second, a wave of Zerglings gushed out like ants coming out of the Anthill.

"{Tornados!}" From my hands flowed mana cyan, and three twisters-wind were born instantly, keeping the ants, Zerglings, in the anthill.

The tornados were large and injected with a lot of fairy wind element mana and space energies.

It looked like there were three blenders ravaging the aliens trying to get out of the hole in the ground. But, although my tornadoes kept the aliens at bay, there were some that escaped from the net due to the large number.

But thanks to my timely attack, I gave enough time for support to arrive. Around the pit they have begun to gather Adventurers as well as Summoner Warriors and began to hunt down the Dune Runners.

But the Zerglings weren’t the only thing coming out of the tunnel. Roaches began to spit their corrupt acid at my Tornados, drowning the tornados and managing to disintegrate.

Spears that seemed to be made of dry branches were also heading in my direction. But thanks to my wind control I dodged them easily and directed the spears towards the walls of buildings where there were no people who could be in danger.

Then, in the Zergling wave, Hydralisks and Roaches began to emerge.

A dwarf with a beard and very muscular brown hair lunged with a large, heavy axe with a great leap and thrust the axe into a Hydralisk and split its head in half. But a Roach spat out of his gray acid.

I quickly conjured a bubble to protect that dwarf who had just raised a large and heavy shield in preparation for the Roach’s attack with acid.

I also used the moment to conjure mana bubbles with space blessing to all the adventurers who had come to fight the alien invasion.

The bearded dwarf smiled at me and gave me a thumb.

Alongside him more began to appear – Tank Warriors – and arrows and other attacks began to be released from behind.

A war began in front my eyes and my heart began to beat rapidly, and my brain began to secrete adrenaline. My perception of space kept the whole place under my attention. Sometimes I threw wind blades and sometimes I released magic bubbles.

Liana had long since appeared next to me and was holding a magic staff in her hands as she threw all kinds of magic like fireballs, ice balls, electric shocks like balls.

The Liana Staff is long, about two meters, it seems to be made of a tree branch that, although straight, has a smooth curve.

The magic staff is colored from a very light wood, almost looking like it is made from a light brown girl’s hair.

At the top of the cane the wood of the branch expands and opens like a crescent moon. In the center is a white gem from which emanates a clear milky light and is supported by the wood of the Staff.

The entire staff glows in colors according to the magic that Liana is using. Orange for fire magic, blue for ice magic, purple for lightning magic.

Liana also has the ability to place mana bubbles. It’s the first time I’ve seen Liana fighting alongside her Familiar. The staff not only aids her in her magic, but has also given her a sky blue mage outfit with stars emblazoned on the bottom.

And so, Liana, Me, and a lot of people of many different races, like girls with cat ears, girls with dog ears, girls with bunny ears, very big girls with elephant ears, tall girls with small winged ears with long horns, girls with bird wings, beautiful girls with long ears attacking with bows.

Sure, there are men too, but they’re elven archers, dwarves, and dwarves who attack with magic in close combat and weapons like maces and axes.

There are also some men and women with gray skin in different shades, some even gray become infinitely close to black, but they are very tall and have red or blue eyes. They attack with a magic I had never seen.

There are also people who appear to have fish scales, as well as aquatic features on their face and body. Many different thinking species are fighting together against invading corrupted insects.

While keeping my eyes on the Adventurers and Summoner Warriors who might be in danger. I also cast auxiliary and support magics. As the time of battle went on, more and more people had flower crowns on their heads and fought more frantically against the waves of Zerglings, Roaches, and Hydralisks.

Then a series of flashes made me look up and I could see many violet phoenixes with electrical currents flying and attacking the invading aerial aliens.

I could also see how a huge phoenix stood in the air and a beautiful blonde-haired woman stood calmly on the phoenix.
