CHAPTER 297: CHAPTER 297: THIS WOMAN ACTUALLY CHASED HIM HERE!

Vincent Hawthorne bent down and said a few words to Caden. After speaking, he patted Caden on the head and let him go back.

Tanya Sinclair didn’t ask Caden what Vincent said to him. She believed her son had his own judgment, and although she disliked Vincent, she would not forcibly prevent her son from connecting with his biological father.

"Let’s go, Caden."

Tanya Sinclair let her son get into the car.

"Goodbye, Aunt Sinclair, Caden, and pretty auntie." Abby waved goodbye to them obediently, then left holding the nanny’s hand.

Tanya Sinclair watched Abby’s figure leave, then turned her head to look at Vincent Hawthorne. Joy had already gotten into the car. Vincent was heading to the driver’s seat. He glanced at her, pausing briefly.

Tanya withdrew her gaze and got into the car.

Along the way, Caden got along well with Daisy Bell. When they arrived at the restaurant Daisy had booked in advance, Caden even called her godmother when getting out of the car.

The three of them enjoyed a warm and pleasant dinner together. After the meal, Daisy put on a hat and a light scarf, and they took a walk nearby.

Just then, Daisy received a call from her agent, informing her that there was a charity gala the next day that required her attendance.

Daisy frowned slightly, a bit unwilling, "Can’t I decline? I have plans tomorrow."

She wanted to meet the man who caught Tanya Sinclair’s eye!

Agent: "Do you think anyone can just get this opportunity? The gala is full of big shots; you should show your face more, and you’ll get investment for your next movie."

Daisy: "Alright...I’ll head back to the hotel later to try on clothes."

After Daisy hung up, Tanya reassured her, "You can meet up after you’re done with your commitments. That person, you actually know him."

"I know him?" Daisy suddenly had someone in mind, "Noah Wilder?"

"No." Tanya mentioned Declan Pierce’s name, "It’s Declan Pierce."

She expected Daisy to jump out of her seat in surprise upon hearing his name, but Daisy was stunned instead and then smiled, not surprised.

"Him..."

If it’s him, it’s not surprising.

Whether or not they meet, whether or not to vet him, it no longer mattered.

Tanya was a bit taken aback by Daisy’s reaction.

"You didn’t seem surprised at all."

Daisy placed her hands on Tanya’s shoulders, "Do you remember when you woke up and called me, asking how I knew your favorite flower was yellow roses? I told you then that it was Declan who told me."

"He remembers everything about you, and I think it’s not just because he has a good memory."

Mia drove the nanny vehicle to pick up Daisy to return to the hotel. After Tanya watched her leave, she took Caden home.

On the way, Caden looked at Tanya several times, wanting to say something but stopping each time.

Tanya noticed through the car’s rearview mirror, "Caden, do you have something to tell Mom?"

Caden hesitated and spoke softly, "Mom, aren’t you going to ask what Dad said to me?"

Tanya asked back, "Do you want to tell Mom?"

Caden was silent for a moment, then said, "Dad said it’s Grandma’s birthday next week and hopes I can go back to the old house to accompany her. She misses me. Do you want to go back, Mom?"

Tanya watched the road ahead and replied warmly, "I won’t be going. But if you want to go back to the old house to be with Grandma for her birthday, you can go. I respect your choice."

Caden hadn’t made up his mind, and Tanya didn’t rush him.

"Let me know when you’ve decided."

Once they got home, Caden went to take a bath, ready to go to bed.

Tanya Sinclair walked into the study, just opened the computer, and received a video call request from Professor Carter abroad.

She immediately accepted it, and Professor Carter’s face appeared on the screen.

"Professor Carter."

"Tanya, I’ve reviewed the blackboard notes and formulas you sent me. However, I didn’t understand part of the content either, as it’s not my area of research. I mainly focus on research in renewable polymer materials. But I showed it to another physics professor. He pointed out that it involves research on microstructure reorganization. But some of the formulas on it, he hadn’t seen either. They’re either random scribbles or mistakes."

Her grandfather’s condition was already unstable, with memory confusion, so it was normal for him to write incorrect formulas.

Tanya pressed on, "Professor Carter, could you explain microstructure reorganization more specifically?"

Professor Carter adjusted his glasses and explained, "Objects are composed of various microstructures. If the object is decomposed into these microstructures and the arrangement order is recorded, the object can be transmitted to another time and space, reassembled, and restored. This could realize the spatiotemporal conversion of objects. However, it’s still just a concept for now, but we all believe that when technology advances to a certain extent, the future holds hope for realization."

Tanya pondered for a moment, thinking of her grandmother Iris Keene’s body preserved in amber without decay, feeling a thunderous shock to her heart.

She struggled to remain calm, "So, Professor Carter, is it possible to transmit objects from present to past through conversion in the future?"

"With current technology, it’s certainly not possible," Professor Carter said, "Maybe in a few decades, when a super genius emerges, it might become possible. Tanya, if you choose physics, maybe in many years, you could achieve it."

This last sentence from Professor Carter was said half-jokingly.

But Tanya couldn’t bring herself to smile.

She seemed to have touched upon the outline of a shocking truth...

If Grandma’s body was preserved, and the method used wasn’t modern technology, but rather technology from the future?

The research notes Grandpa wrote down, were they indeed mixed-up errors, or were they knowledge from the future?

Tanya Sinclair pondered until she had a headache.

She sat in front of her computer all night, gathering a large amount of relevant information, and stayed up the whole night.

The next morning, when Tanya appeared before Aunt Tawny, she startled her.

"Madam, did you stay up all night?"

"Yes, Aunt Tawny, I’ll have a nap after breakfast. It’s hard on you to pick up Caden tonight."

"Alright, Madam, please eat something quickly and then go rest."

For breakfast, Aunt Tawny cooked millet porridge, and Tanya took a sip, feeling a warm sensation in her stomach.

Outside, the leaves had turned yellow, and autumn had arrived.

"Aunt Tawny, we’ll be moving in a few days. I’ve bought back the house I used to live in."

"Alright, Madam."

After breakfast, Tanya went back to her room to catch up on sleep.

She didn’t notice that her phone was left in the study, and a cross-country call came in, rang three times, and then hung up.

Tanya’s sleep was not restful.

She had several bizarre nightmares.

At first, she dreamt of Caden and Joy, the three of them were happy together, but suddenly Cindy Lynn appeared, Joy ran towards Cindy, dropping her halfway, and she tried to hold Joy back, only to have her palm pierced by a knife.

Beneath her feet suddenly became an endless abyss, she fell into it, and when she opened her eyes again, she had become the one sealed in the amber coffin, and Declan Pierce’s face appeared above...

Tanya awakened from her nightmare, and it was already the afternoon.

She went to the bathroom to wash her face and came to her senses.

Walking into the study, the historical browsing data on the computer proved that she had indeed researched time travel all night. It seemed absurd, but Tanya had personally seen that amber coffin and the lifelike grandma sealed within.

She thought, only Grandpa Horace Sinclair could solve this mystery.

But now, Horace’s condition also couldn’t possibly reveal the truth to her. Declan Pierce, who built the sanatorium to keep Grandpa inside, might know something, or perhaps it was under the Pierce Family’s instruction...

Tanya couldn’t make sense of it for the moment.

She picked up her phone and only then noticed a missed call from an unknown region. She glanced at it, thinking it was just a scam number, and didn’t pay much attention.

Another call, however, came through at this time, and it was Belinda calling.

She immediately answered, "What’s up, Ms. Belinda?"

Belinda was usually calm, but this time her tone was anxious.

"Tanya, I looked over your medical examination records. I remember you’re RH negative blood, correct? Can you come to the hospital? My sister-in-law is having a difficult delivery..." Belinda choked up.

Tanya was indeed of a rare blood type, with a natural antibody in her blood. Hearing Belinda’s panic, Tanya immediately realized that it was her sister-in-law who needed a blood transfusion during childbirth.

"Alright, send me the address. I’ll be there soon!"

The last time, it was to save Vincent Hawthorne...

After receiving the address, Tanya hurried to the hospital.

Outside the operating room, Belinda’s entire family was gathered. Belinda’s eyes were red, and seeing Tanya was like seeing a savior, "Tanya, I..."

Tanya held her shoulder, didn’t say much, and went straight to the doctor, reporting her blood type, "I’m RH negative blood, I can donate blood for the pregnant woman."

The doctor immediately took Tanya for an examination and then began drawing blood. The needle pierced into her arm, and blood flowed out continuously.

Belinda accompanied her the whole time, holding Tanya’s other hand with concern as she watched Tanya’s face grow pale with distress, tears brimming in her eyes.

"Tanya, if you can’t hold on, just say so, don’t force yourself."

"Don’t worry, I once..." Tanya remembered how in college, she nearly lost her life while giving a blood transfusion to save Vincent Hawthorne from a car accident.

But the words stuck in her throat, and she just smiled faintly, "I once donated more blood to save someone. Don’t worry."

After the blood donation, Tanya sat in a chair in the lobby to rest, and Belinda went to get her something to eat.

The elevator next to her opened, and Rhys Lucas, having just visited Cindy, was about to leave when he caught sight of Tanya’s figure.

An inexplicable fury rose in his heart!

Vincent Hawthorne had just arrived at the hospital, and here this woman came chasing right after! It’s like a haunting presence!!
