39: Chapter 38: Wang Ke’er Scared Silly.
Ye Tian, feeling dejected, walked away from the Qing Han Fish House, truly troubled by the blazing sun.
He pursed his lips lightly and hummed, “Damn girl, you’re lucky I gave you a chance, otherwise I’d make you regret it.
This sweltering heat is killing me.”
Just then, a sudden burst of angry shouting caught his attention, making his eyes light up as he turned to look.
Not far away, Wang Ke’er, clad in her police uniform, was sprinting after several men who were running for their lives.
“Stop running!
Surrender now or you’re dead!” Wang Ke’er shouted angrily, drawing her baton to intimidate them.
But the men in the lead paid her no heed and continued their desperate flight.
Before long, a dead end appeared ahead.
Wang Ke’er sneered and pointed her baton at them, “Nowhere to run now!
Surrender!”
“Surrender?
Hmph!” The ringleader, a redhead youth, sneered, glanced at his accomplices, and the next moment, they all pulled out a dagger!
Wang Ke’er’s expression changed and she quickly retreated several steps.
Although she was a formidable fighter, facing seven or eight people, all armed with controlled knives, was dangerous!
“Hey, little cop flower, scared?” The redhead youth smirked and then charged at Wang Ke’er with a roar.
“Bring it on!”
Bang Bang Bang!
Wang Ke’er, albeit a bit fearful, didn’t have a slow reaction.
With her baton, she fought back, clashing against several opponents, but the situation was perilous!
Just as Wang Ke’er was getting angry and about to intimidate them, a whooshing sound came from behind.
She swiftly turned around and saw the redhead youth stabbing at her.
With a cold snort, she twisted around, bent over, and slammed her baton into his thigh.
Then, just as she was about to catch her breath, another whooshing sound came from behind, keeping Wang Ke’er extremely busy.
At that moment, a playful laugh rang out, “Hey, need some help?”
Wang Ke’er turned her head and saw Ye Tian leaning nonchalantly against a nearby utility pole, looking amused.
“No shit!
Get on with it!” Wang Ke’er was about to explode with rage.
It was this jerk.
Under normal circumstances, she would never agree, but now she had no choice.
She was in danger.
She knew Ye Tian’s skills, and if Ye Tian helped, it would undoubtedly make a difference.
“Helping can be arranged, but let me give you a touch, and then I’ll help you,” Ye Tian smirked.
“You!” Wang Ke’er’s face flushed with anger, wishing she could rush over and give Ye Tian the thrashing he deserved.
“Miss Peaceful, watch your back.”
Upon hearing Ye Tian’s voice, Wang Ke’er’s complexion changed.
However, she reacted quickly, immediately vaulting into the air, spinning around, and with a crisp snap, her foot connected with the redhead youth’s waist, causing him great pain and forcing him to stumble backward.
“Damn it!
You bastard!
This is none of your business!
Get lost!” After hitting the ground, the redhead youth quickly got up and yelled angrily.
“What did you say?” Ye Tian’s expression calmed, and he spoke lightly.
“I’m telling you to scram!
Otherwise, my boys will take you down!” The redhead youth sneered disdainfully, certain he could beat Ye Tian easily, a skinny guy playing the hero?
Ridiculous!
“Threatening me?”
Ye Tian sounded puzzled.
In the next instant, he moved like a gust of wind, flickering at lightning speed toward them, his forefinger rapidly tapping the daggers in the young men’s hands so that by the time Ye Tian stopped, he was already standing beside Wang Ke’er.
“Eh, so what if I’m threatening you?
Ridiculous!”
The redhead youth was startled by Ye Tian’s swift action, ready to strike, but none of his companions were hurt!
He sneered at Ye Tian and, holding his knife, charged forward—but then, he froze in confusion.
With every shake of their hands, the daggers began to crack, and within moments, they shattered.
This was the same for all the men, not just the redhead youth.
“What?!” The redhead youth looked panic-stricken at the broken dagger in his hand.
It was terrifying; what had happened?
How did he just break a dozen daggers in mere minutes?
Everyone was dumbfounded, including Wang Ke’er, who stood there utterly baffled, her face a picture of sheer bewilderment.
Ye Tian glanced at Wang Ke’er, “Miss Peaceful Police Flower, how do you want to handle this?
I’ll take care of it for you.”
“Guys, run!” The redhead youth immediately dropped the dagger in his hand and dashed out with a shout.
Damn, this guy’s a freak!
“Don’t let them get away,” Wang Ke’er urged anxiously, but Ye Tian just smiled, “Don’t worry, watch this.”
He glanced over at a small car nearby and a wicked smile curled up on the corner of his mouth.
The next moment, he gripped the car and, to Wang Ke’er’s amazement, lifted it high above his head.
Looking towards the fleeing group, Ye Tian said indifferently, “Do you stop, or do I throw it?”
“Throw your mo…
Holy shit!!!” The red-clad youth turned around to curse but froze, forgetting to keep running, and collapsed onto the ground with a thud.
The sidekicks were all dumbstruck and fell to the ground one after another.
What the fuck!
This is a freaking car!
He…
He actually lifted it above his head?
What the hell!
Is this guy even human?
Not even the world’s strongest strongman could do this, right?!
“Still running?” Ye Tian said casually.
The redhead youth immediately knelt on the ground, kowtowing to Ye Tian.
“Big brother, we were wrong, we were wrong, we won’t run anymore, we promise never to run again.”
“Not running anymore?
Then crawl over here yourselves.”
“Yes, yes, yes.”
The redhead youth and his friends promptly crawled over.
Two of them were so scared they had wet themselves, giving off a foul stench of urine.
After all, what Ye Tian did was terrifying enough to scare someone to death!
Ye Tian nonchalantly tossed the car aside, clapped his hands, and turned to the dumbfounded Wang Ke’er, “I’m saying, what are you doing?
Call someone, aren’t you going to take them away?”
Coming back to her senses, Wang Ke’er gave Ye Tian a profound look and quickly notified her colleagues to come over.
As for Wang Ke’er, she didn’t even need to handcuff the redhead youth and his gang; they were already obediently squatting with their heads in their hands, which left her speechless.
Actually…
it was understandable.
Even Wang Ke’er was about to be scared stiff herself.
Looking at Ye Tian, her eyes were filled with curiosity.
Was this guy even human?
When Ye Tian saw Wang Ke’er looking over, he teased with a smile, “Miss Peaceful Police Flower, are you very curious?
If you let me touch you, I might consider telling you.”
“Go to hell!” Wang Ke’er feigned a punch at Ye Tian without moving forward because she was quite clear by now that she couldn’t beat this jerk.
But every time she saw Ye Tian’s smug smile, it filled her with frustration.
Before long, Wang Ke’er’s colleagues arrived and took the thieves away.
Seeing this, Ye Tian shrugged his shoulders and turned to leave.
If it weren’t for his worry that Wang Ke’er couldn’t handle those petty thieves alone, he would’ve left earlier.
Just then, Wang Ke’er received a text message, her expression drastically changing.
Without regard for Ye Tian’s reaction, she pulled him into the police car and took off with a slam on the gas pedal.
