CHAPTER 419: MATE

"Akira," I whispered away from Ai’s ear as the noble appeared right before me. I was still in the clutches of my little adorable demon, so I couldn’t really move out of bed, no matter how much I could.

"What would you like me to do, Kazuki-sama?" she said, bowing down in a formal tone and starting to loosen her collar, already knowing why I called her.

I tried to sit up, but even in the slightest of movements, I could see Ai visibly looking uncomfortable and grumbling, so I stopped in my tracks and looked helplessly at Akira. She nodded and walked closer to me before stopping in her tracks and turning away. I was a bit confused as to why she reacted that way and tilted my head.

"You two had quite the active night, I see..." she said in a meek voice, and my eyes widened, looking at us naked and not fully covered under the blanket. I quickly covered both of us up, and Ai snuggled up closer to me in response, melting me with her cold body.

"I-I’m so sorry you h-had to see that," I said in a panicked mode, pulling the blanket up to my neck, completely covering Ai up to her head. "H-How about you come back later when I am more...presentable?"

"I-It’s no worries, Kazuki-sama, you and Ai-sama are quite young and in love, so this is not uncom- "

PLEASE DON’T MAKE THIS WORSE.

"A-anyways, sadly, I doubt you will be having any other time to do this," she explained, and I realized what she meant. Given how the night went, I planned not to go out anywhere and stay with Ai the entire day so I would not have any other time to drink Akira’s blood. Even though I had drunk from Ai the night before, my throat was feeling dry, and seeing the exposed neck of Akira was slowly making it hard for me to hold back.

"Please lie back," she instructed and walked closer to me. She grew out her nails, made a quick cut on her wrist, and started pouring her blood right into my mouth. The moment it touched my lips, I raised my head, getting closer to her wrist, having the irresistible urge to bite it. Seeing this, she lowered her hand and let me dig my teeth into her sink. "This way works fine too. Please drink to your heart’s content."

Not able to hear her words anymore, I focused on drinking. The scent, the texture, and over everything else, the taste of her blood was unparalleled. My body started warming up as I was drinking her blood and grabbed her arm, pulling it close, wanting to sink my teeth deeper into her skin.

"Ugh..." I heard a little wince, and looking at Akira, I could very easily see the pained and uncomfortable expression on her face. I let go of her hand and tried to pull away, but Akira nudged her arm closer to my mouth again. "Kazuki-sama is a new vampire, so he normally doesn’t release the aphrodisiac to numb away the pain when he is just feeding. You shouldn’t worry, though, as it is quite common at the beginning. I am more than happy to serve him and offer him my blood when he pleases."

I drank only a little more of the blood and pulled away less forcefully, indicating to her that I was satisfied with the doze for today. Not letting my eyes leave the spot where I had sunk my teeth, I saw it healing quickly. A guilty expression overcame my face as I looked at Akira, which made her frown. Even after what she says, I do not want to cause her any pain when she is the one helping me so far with my daily feeding.

"How do I unconsciously always make sure that the aphrodisiac is released?" I asked Akira.

"There are some conditions that cause the release of the aphrodisiac," Akira started explaining. "First is when it is during an intimate act, such as your last night’s experience."

"Ugh...please don’t remind me of that," I said, holding my head, making Akira stop and look at me with confusion. I met her eyes and felt somewhat compelled to tell her what transpired. "Well...when I was...um...doing it with her, I had this weird and almost animalistic urge to bite into her neck. It was pure blood lust I felt in the moment, and it got to the point I hallucinated...about eating Ai. Tearing her flesh off and drinking from her like a crazed beast and..."

I could feel the shivers come back, but I felt a cold hand start ruffling my hair. I looked up to see Akira standing closer to the bed with a soft expression on her face. Her eyes told me that she understood what I wanted to say, and I did not need to recollect such horrible memories.

"I’m sorry," I apologized.

"You don’t need to apologize, Kazuki-sama. I am rather glad you were able to confide in me about such thoughts. You did well," she praised me, her voice having a mature tone to it. "Please rest more today and find your comfort in Ai-sama. No matter what role I currently have due to the situation, she is a much bigger part of your life. Her involvement is more impactful than anything else."

"I see..." I muttered, feeling a wave of nostalgia hitting me. Just like when my mother used to comfort me.

"She really loves you, Kazuki-sama, so please cherish her before anything else," Akira said and pulled her arm away, much to my complaint, and bowed before me respectfully. "I will be taking my leave. Do call me if you need me for anything."

"Oh yeah...about yesterday’s commotion..." I remembered the whole ordeal about me showing off my superhuman strength in speed in public, along with the giant me-shaped hole in the wall.

"I have taken care of it all. Every known witness has forgotten about it, and as for the damages, the property owners have already found someone else to blame," she explained.

"I see...thank you," I said.

"I am merely doing the task you handed me. I will be taking my leave now," she said before disappearing before my eyes.

I turned to look back at Ai, who still took her sweet time nuzzling her face in my arm. I kissed the back of her head and held my closer to me. Taking a deep breath, her smell forced its way into my nose and I felt a lot calmer. Cheris her before anything else...Am I not already doing that? I know what Akira is trying to say, given how things currently but I thought about a way to focus more on Ai.

"Do I have to slow down looking for a way to help Ai’s condition?" I muttered, and it looks like those words were the ones that woke up the sleeping beauty.

She grumbled gently and slowly opened her eyes. She turned around to nuzzle her face in my chest and started giggling to herself. Her arms came up and grabbed my pecs, and she started rubbing her face across them.

"Kazu-kun has gotten so much sexier hehehehe." You know I can hear you, dummy. Well, more stuff to tease her about since she was practically drooling over me.

"Good morning, my love," I decided to start my attack. Hearing my voice, I could see a shiver go down her body. Completely awake by the sudden nickname, I could see Ai’s face turning red. "Enjoying yourself in my chest there?"

"K-K-Kazu-kun??!!!" she almost yelped and tried to put some distance between them, but I am not letting her go. "I- um...wha- fuehh."

Aaah, looks like my girlfriend stopped working.

I could practically see steam coming out of her head. Did I fry her systems?

"This is just a dream, no need to worry," I decided to toy with her a bit more. "You can enjoy yourself as much as you like."

"You’re making fun of me," she said, puffing her cheek, looking like a little hamster. I chuckled and kissed her forehead. Ai nudged her face up, and I knew exactly what she wanted. I left a little kiss on her lips, and she buried her face in my neck.

"Can you...call me that again?" Ai asked shyly, her face still red from befor, but I can see her being genuinely happy.

"Sure, my love," I whispered in her ear.

"Eeeeep!" Ai yelped again and held me tighter, and I couldn’t get enough of this cute display. Seriously,y my girlfriend is a big bomb of cuteness. Countries can use her cuteness as an actual weapon in wars.

I stroked her hair gently and caressed her nose against my neck. I knew what was about to happen ne, and I honestly expected it. I felt her teeth sink into my neck as she started slowly sucking my blood. I kissed her head and kept caressing her hair. She wrapped her legs around me, pushing me down and getting on top of me. Her hands are holding my neck closer.

After what we did, I knew she would be thirsty for more of my blood. Not to forget what she had to bear through.

Aaah...here it comes again.

The terrible feeling welling in started to resurface quickly as I started feeling weird in my stomach. Ugh...

"Ai..." I muttered her name, and she stopped sucking my blood and locked eyes with me. Those innocent-looking looking beautiful eyes were shining gently in the dim room. I moved my hands cupping her cheeks and placed my lips against her. I could taste my own blood in her mouth, but it didn’t matter to me.

Without saying anything, she kissed me back and started to rub her body against mine. I let her take control of the kiss and take me along her trip of pleasure as the awful feeling in my stomach started to go away. She deepened the kiss without any warning and was practically eating my face at this point, but I quite enjoyed it.

After some more time, she finally let go of my lips and looked at me. She touched her forehead against mine, and I started feeling a little dizzy. Maybe it was the warmth of the blanket along with her coldness, or just the mere fact that she was so close to me, but everything in the world almost numbed out for me. I felt like I belonged here, in her embrace, so close to her.

"I know," she said softly, and my eyes widened. "You don’t need to hold it, I’m here."

Placing a kiss on my forehead, I felt myself being comforted by her. I gave in to the feeling and clung to her. It felt like nothing in the world could go wrong. Everything was where it needed to be. Everything would be okay, as long as I had Ai.

She is my remedy.
