CHAPTER 421: YENS

"Jump attack!"

I heard behind me as a sudden weight got latched onto my back. I continued washing the dishes and let her enjoy herself. She wrapped her legs around me and started to snuggle my cheek.

"Kazu-kun has gotten so much stronger," Ai complimented me, making me puff my chest in pride. Though it is not fully my strength. Oh well. "You didn’t even stumble a little. I feel so light, hehehehe."

"You were already quite light, you know," I replied to the koala on my back. We had pancakes for breakfast because Ai was begging me for them. Can’t really do anything against her puppy dog eyes; they are absolutely disastrous. It scares me what this woman can make me do.

In conclusion, Ai, here ended up eating seven of them with a lot of syrup and had a crazy sugar rush. Right before this, she was skipping through the house humming happily to herself, and now she is on my back being overly affectionate. I was quite enjoying this sight. A little too much is making me want to spoil her with more sweets. If only they were not bad for her health, I would be giving in to every single one of her requests for them.

Back to the person of interest, she has somehow made her way to the front, still not letting go of me with some impressive manoeuvre. Now, blocking my view, she started to shower her love directly on my face, kissing it over and over in every spot she could first get in contact with. Enjoying the sensation, I was somehow able to feel around for the rest of the dishes, washing them.

"Kaaaaazuuuuu-kuuuun" Ai called me out while rocking forward and backward against me. "Give me attention, you are completely ignoring me!" she said while puffing her cheeks.

"Am I really?" I asked, kissing her cheek. "I am quite attentive of this little koala holding onto me. On the contrary, you really love to try to get my attention when I am washing the dishes."

"Hehehehe, do I?" she said cutely, holding out her tongue.

No, you don’t.

Ah.

I mean, you do! You always do that. Can’t believe I almost went along with her for a moment there. Her ability to convince me is really formidable.

With our little talk continuing, I kept washing the dishes, getting considerably slower than before, but it’s not like I am wasting extra water, so it’s fine. As long as she is close to me, I feel at peace, so this works well for me too.

"Yaaaaaawn" Ai let out a big yawn, resting her head on my lap as we sat on the couch. Looks like all the energy has finally been let out. Honestly, I am surprised it lasted this long, but then again, her natural stamina and energy exertion are different from most humans, so that does make somewhat sense.

"Feeling sleepy already?" I said, caressing her hair, and she turned to my side. "This is why I asked you not to eat those many pancakes."

"It’s Kazu-kun’s fault for making them too tasty," she complained, and I chuckled at her reaction. Seriously, if anyone is getting a sugar overdose right now, it is me.

Looking at the time, it wasn’t even midday. The house was clean thanks to Akira taking care of it when neither of us was home. To be honest, I am surprised she went that far to look after the place, even though I never asked for it. Though I am not one who is ungrateful.

"Do you want to order in for lunch?" I asked Ai, and I could see her eyes sparkle instantly.

"Yes!" she exclaimed and jumped up a little, landing back on my lap. "That wa,y Kazu-kun will spend more time with me and not cooking."

"Just how much time do you want us to spend today?" I asked her, poking her cheek.

"Twenty-four hours. That should be enough for today," she said in the most serious tone. "Yep, that that much is alright."

Can’t say I am not surprised by her answer. She closed her eyes and took another big yawn. Seeing her, a little yawn started building up in me. I tried my best to hold back the yawn, knowing full well what was going to happen if I openly yawned in front of Ai. It is not something I mind doing, but we will seriously mess up our biological cycle and have to work extra hard to get it working properly.

My phone buzzed, and I picked it up to see a notification appear. It seemed like a large sum of money had been transferred to my account. Ai’s phone also buzzed, and I thought it was a similar message. It had been about two months since we joined the VEO, and we didn’t get our first pay for the starting month due to the attack. James did say he would pay us for both months.

"Yaawwwnn," Ai let out another yawn.

Oh no.

I can’t stop.

"Yawn."

A little yawn left my mouth, and the sound of its Ai snapped her head to lock eyes with me. Oh no, you are not going to do that. A mischievous smile formed on her face, and I started intensely shaking my head. No, not now, Ai. At least wait for us to have lunch.

"Kaaazuuu-kuuuuuun~" she called my name in a playful tone. No, I will not submit. "I am sooooo tiiiired~"

She stretched her arms above her head and arched her back, making a seductive look on her face.

"You some tired too hmmmmm?" she sat up, wrapping her arms around me, creeping up to my ear. "Why not join me in bed? We will have a nice loooong rest~"

She then proceeded to lightly blow air in my ear, sending a shiver down my body. Her body pressed against mine, and I didn’t need to see her face directly to know full well what face she was making. Hang in there, Kazuki, at least after lunch. You don’t want to mess up your cycle again. Remember all the times you have given in to the desires to stay up too late or sleep at odd times, and how much that messed you up. Do not let her take control of you.

"Pleeeeease," she said in a cute, innocent tone, locking eyes with me, making the cutest pout I have ever witnessed. God, I will absolutely take over the world for this expression.

Argh, fuck it.

I stood up, picking Ai up in my arms. She was surprised by the sudden movement and looked up at me. If we are going to be teasing, I will not back down.

"Then let’s have a nice loooong rest," I imitated her prior tone and planted a kiss on her lips.

The sight of her looking so flustered was an absolute feast. So much, in fact, that something inside me started to rise up. Her skin started looking smoother and softer than ever. Her lips looked so plump and had a sweet tint of pink on them. Her eyes looked ever so beautiful, looking at me with that innocent look in them. I gulped hard and shook my head.

No, I cannot let myself give in to this, at least. Not after what happened last night.

I rushed to the bedroom and tucked Ai under the blanket. I joined her, and as my body hit the bed, Ai latched onto me like a magnet. She took a big breath, burying her face in my neck, and started giggling to herself.

"I always wanted to do this," she said happily.

"Smelling me? But you always do that. Especially when I am not watching," I said, and she started nuzzling her face into me.

"N-n-n-no," she tried her hardest to deny, and I couldn’t hold back but laugh a little, seeing this. Even though I have caught her so many times.

"Okay, my turn," I said, caressing lips against her head and taking a deep breath. Sweet, there was no other way to explain this. She smelled sweet like the candies I used to have as a kid. I used to break my teeth trying to bite them right away when I got too impatient licking them in what felt like an eternity.

She used to smell more like flowers before, but now her scent was more akin to sweets. Ah, I see why that is.

I felt a different sensation on my neck and looked down, seeing Ai digging her teeth into my neck. This girl, how much of my blood does she crave?

"You have gotten greedier about my blood lately, haven’t you?" I commented.

"It’s Kazu-kun’s fault his blood tastes so good," Ai said and went back to my blood. Yeah, this is more than just feeding to keep up her strength. "I missed the taste of your blood."

"Then drink up as much as you need," I said, holding her closer to me and starting to rub her back.

Soon, I started feeling a little dizzy and looked down to see Ai still drinking my blood. Though she is drinking it considerably slower as if savouring every sip, I was slowly starting to get low on blood.

Yeah, this girl will be the death of me. One way or another.
