CHAPTER 441: CHAPTER 441: EVERYTHING YOU WANT, I’LL GIVE TO YOU

May Morgan looked up at Victor Grant, and with a complicated expression, she said, "You shouldn’t have come with me, it’s too dangerous here."

Victor Grant took a deep breath, spoke unhappily, yet stubbornly, "If I didn’t come, would I just watch you die at Logan Vance’s hands?"

"Victor Grant, just tell me honestly now, are you and Logan Vance in this together?" May Morgan paused, then asked Victor Grant sharply.

Victor Grant’s grip on May Morgan’s fingers tightened slightly. He remained silent. If he admitted, May Morgan would be utterly disappointed in him; but if he lied, and was exposed later, May Morgan might become even more desperate.

His silence was tantamount to admitting it, so with a despondent sigh, May Morgan asked Victor Grant sadly, "Victor Grant, is it true that in your eyes, only one of you and Vincent Vance can live? If he’s alive, it’s like a thorn in your side, and you’d stop at nothing to see him dead?"

"I just don’t want you to hold onto that man in your heart anymore, May. You know how well I’ve treated you. But why can’t I ever reach your heart? Is it because of Vincent? Because as long as he’s alive, you’ll keep dreaming of returning to his side and never let go."

May Morgan knew there was no point in discussing it further with Victor Grant. She couldn’t move past Vincent Vance, and what of it? She promised herself to others; couldn’t she at least leave her heart with Vincent Vance?

"Victor Grant, I know I owe you a lot; even my life is owed to you. Since that’s the case, if given the chance, I’ll return my life to you, so you don’t need to trouble Vincent Vance everywhere!"

May Morgan closed her eyes gently, feeling exhausted, she spoke to Victor Grant.

As they spoke, the two had entered the villa’s courtyard, reaching the villa’s entrance. May Morgan looked nervously at the glass doors leading into the hall and shouted, "Logan Vance, I’m back, hand over Vincent Vance!"

However, her shout did not receive a response from Logan Vance inside, and May Morgan’s heart tightened. She quickly exchanged glances with Victor Grant and shouted again into the villa’s living room, "Logan Vance, did you hear me? Hand over Vincent Vance!"

Inside the villa, there was still no response. The vines that had been wantonly dancing at the entrance seemed to have lost their controlled vigor, swinging aimlessly, without any aggression.

Seeing this, Victor Grant hurriedly pulled May Morgan, who was about to go in and check, and whispered to her, "I think Vincent Vance is probably dead inside. Why don’t we go back?"

May Morgan glared at Victor Grant with displeasure and ignored him. She shook off his hand and rushed inside.

Upon entering the living room, May Morgan immediately saw Vincent Vance lying on the floor, covered in blood. She was about to run over, but Vincent Vance seemed to sense her presence and weakly lifted his head to glance at her.

"Don’t come over, May, stay away!"

Vincent Vance used all his strength to shout desperately at May Morgan.

Seeing him covered in wounds, blood continuously flowing out, May Morgan was incredibly distressed. She couldn’t care about anything else and rushed toward him without a second thought.

Victor Grant followed closely behind May Morgan. As they reached the center of the living room, there was suddenly a loud crash from above. Both looked up and saw the giant chandelier inside was suddenly plummeting straight toward May Morgan’s head.

"Watch out!"

Swiftly, Victor Grant pushed May Morgan aside, and the chandelier fell between them. May Morgan was merely pushed to the ground by Victor Grant and wasn’t hit, but Victor Grant’s right arm was injured by the chandelier, bleeding heavily.

Sensing the scent of blood, those vines suddenly went wild again, rushing directly toward Victor Grant. Seeing Victor Grant about to be touched by the vines, May Morgan gritted her teeth and hurried to his side.

As she stepped into the vicinity of the chandelier, she suddenly felt a sharp numbness in her foot, as if something had hit a vital point, making her stand there numb, unable to move.

At that moment, the vines swiftly entangled Victor Grant and Vincent Vance at the same time, suspending them mid-air, unable to move.

"Hahaha, you fell for it so easily!"

As May Morgan and the others were thoroughly restrained, Logan Vance slowly emerged from the dense covering of vines and appeared before May Morgan.

May Morgan turned her head and glanced at Logan Vance, seeing he was holding that small bottle again. Knowing his intention, she couldn’t help but ask, "You still want my blood?"

"Guess!" Logan Vance smirked mysteriously, slowly opening the bottle’s mouth with his hand, and instantly, a black mist began rising rapidly from the bottle’s opening.

May Morgan remembered this mist. The last time it appeared, two of Logan Vance’s subordinates died. This thing was bloodthirsty; every time it emerged, it had to kill. So would Logan Vance let it out this time, would it harm Vincent Vance and Victor Grant?

The smoke gradually expanded in the air. Once it was fully released, Logan Vance glanced at Victor Grant and the bloodied Vincent Vance, then intentionally asked May Morgan, "This thing will definitely require a blood sacrifice. Considering our acquaintance, I’ll give you a choice; will you choose to save Vincent Vance or Victor Grant?"

"Logan Vance, all you want is me. I’ll give you my blood, however much you want. Just let them both go!"

May Morgan didn’t want to harm either of them, because these two people meant a lot to her. She’d rather sacrifice herself and could never permit harm to Victor Grant or Vincent Vance.

"You mean to say you’re not rescuing either?"

Logan Vance raised his fingers, and the vines entangling Vincent Vance and Victor Grant began tightening. Vincent Vance, exhausted, quickly lost consciousness. Though Victor Grant’s wounds were not as severe, he couldn’t withstand the constriction power like a python, soon finding it hard to breathe, unable to hold on.

"Enough, what do you really want?"

Unable to move, May Morgan could only watch helplessly as the two slowly died before her eyes. She suddenly began to cry desperately, shouting at Logan Vance.

"I want you to make a choice, don’t you understand?" Logan Vance coldly swept his eyes over May Morgan, his voice suddenly becoming vicious, "You only get one opportunity; do you choose to save Vincent Vance or Victor Grant?"

"I... save Vincent Vance!" May Morgan saw Vincent Vance had already fainted, knowing if he wasn’t sent to the hospital soon, it would be over. Helplessly, she could only choose to save Vincent Vance.

Upon hearing May Morgan’s choice to save Vincent Vance, Victor Grant suddenly gazed despairingly at May Morgan. Though he guessed she would give the chance to Vincent, he didn’t expect her to decide so quickly and completely.

"I’m sorry, Victor Grant, I’ll die with you. I promised to be with you, so I’ll keep my word."

Knowing she wronged Victor Grant, May Morgan tearfully apologized to him.
