CHAPTER 7: CHAPTER 7: VERY SWEET, IT’S THE FLAVOR HE LIKES

He lowered his head and gazed at the alluring lips of the woman in his arms, with a glint in his eyes. He couldn’t resist leaning down to kiss those sweet, tempting lips.

Sweet, beautiful, it’s the taste he likes.

A confident smile tugged at the corner of his lips. This woman, he was determined to have her!

In the morning, an abrupt ringtone sounded. May thought her phone was ringing and instinctively grabbed it, then unlocked it.

"Master, I’ve found some clues about the Jade Pendant."

On the call, Jacob Jennings’ voice suddenly emerged, startling the still groggy May.

She actually grabbed Vincent Vance’s phone, and why had she ended up in Vincent’s bed?

Vincent, washing up in the bathroom, heard movement in the bedroom, opened the door to take a look, and saw May awkwardly holding his phone, flustered.

"Um, I didn’t know... I thought the phone was mine..." May stammered, seeing him looking at her coldly, hurriedly explaining.

Vincent glanced at her, said nothing, turned around, took the phone, and walked out.

As soon as he left, May quickly got out of bed to tidy herself. As she climbed out, she couldn’t help but glance at the Imperial Concubine Chair beside her, slowly recalling being cold last night and Vincent carrying her back to bed.

At that moment, she suddenly felt a bit grateful to this indifferent man.

Before, she avoided Vincent because she disliked Melanie, and this man was known for being domineering and difficult to approach. Even to her sister, his fiancée, he was distant.

But his behavior last night made May feel that this man might be cold outside but warm inside.

Yet recalling seeing Melanie’s nightgown in the closet last night made May feel uncomfortable. Clearly, they must have had that kind of relationship, otherwise why would there be Melanie’s nightwear in his bedroom?

Ugh, what nonsense is going on in her head? Melanie and Vincent had a marriage contract before, so having that kind of relationship was expected.

They are both willing, so why is she bothering herself with dislike? Vincent is not her anything.

Vincent returned after taking the call, glanced at the already tidied May, and said blandly: "Later, I’ll have Jacob Jennings go to the school to cancel your accommodation. From now on, you’ll live here."

When he said this, it was a command that brooked no argument, not a discussion.

May suddenly panicked, resisting with wide eyes: "Why!"

Is he joking internationally? She’s not anything to him, how could he keep her here, this is a blatant violation of human rights, right?

Vincent cast a cold look her way, suddenly stretched out his hand, and pinched her delicate chin: "Don’t agree?"

His strong, imposing aura directly pressured May, making her stutter: "Sis, brother-in-law, I’m still in school."

"You think you’re in elementary school?"

With one sentence, he left her speechless. Fine, she’s already a sophomore, the school won’t care where she lives.

But...

"You’re my brother-in-law; it’s inappropriate for me to live here." After hesitating for a long time, May protested to Vincent, biting her lip.

"Since you’re so concerned about the relationship, then change the identity."

The corner of his lips played with a teasing smile, leaving May flustered all over: "I wasn’t joking about what I said last night, you should consider it carefully."

Hmm? What does he mean?

Last night, did he say something last night? Why can’t she remember?
