CH.710 Wedding Ceremony

And so, the Goddess’ Day had arrived. Fun fact about that, actually. Each of the four continents use the same calendar. The names of the months are different, but otherwise it is the same. And the God day obviously carries the name of the Continent’s god.

This is actually because of The Lord of All, one of the four Gods. He is the oldest amongst the current Gods, and he developed the current calendar. So he began suggesting to the other continent Gods that they should also use it.

And with the help of System Support holders, each continent was eventually introduced to the current calendar. Sure the 0 year is different for each continent, but otherwise the calendar is the same.

But that is enough getting sidetracked today. … I hope. Time for breakfast. And yes, I enjoyed it with everyone.

----------------------------------------

After breakfast, I headed to the Factory to make sure everything was ready to go. Yes I also did that last evening, but I’m going to double, triple and quadruple check everything.

Luckily everything was still fine, so I moved onto my next objective. Janina. I teleported over to the Dragon’s Coast and after some quick dragon form snuggles, I teleported both of us back to HomeBase. There Janina once again absorbed her scale copy, before she transformed into her humanoid form and headed into her room to get dressed.

The other girls were already getting ready. And yes, they were getting dressed up on this side as well. Because while the main ceremony is in the Factory, we still have a HomeBase celebration on this side.

And because of that, I had to get dressed up as well. So I teleported to my … technically our room, but it is the master bedroom, so officially it is mine. Well, for just a bit longer. Soon it will truly be our room.

Quickly after I arrived, Agunan also teleported in. Using the Dungeon terminal he has. The dragon was already dressed in a snappy looking suit, which did have openings for his wings and tail. The suit jacket and pants were black, but his undershirt was bright orange. I just wanted something red or orange on him to go with his scales, but of course he needs a black suit. The left sleeve of both the jacket and the shirt were cut at the elbow so that his terminal was visible, as is expected of dungeon masters and founders.

I didn’t actually need his help getting dressed up, but I appreciated that he was here. Emotional support, you could say.

For my own suit, and yes, I also wore a three-piece suit. A black one like Agunan, but still slightly different. Agunan’s was made from silk we made with the spider silk from the HomeBase spiders. Mine wasn’t. Mine was actually my own silk I made while in my Arachne form. Because why wouldn’t I use it?

My undershirt on the other hand was made of wing membrane from my Rainbow Butterfly-kin transformation. It hurt a bit to rip it out, but it did quickly grow back thanks to Regeneration. And using it to make a shirt wasn’t the best, but the end result gave me a rainbow shining shirt, which is somewhat like how the Gods have their hair changing colors. Only mine isn’t magical perception bullshit, but just the way light interacts with the material.

And yes, like Agunan, mine also lacked the left sleeve, leaving my dungeon terminal visible.

I then spent a bit of time combing my hair, and otherwise adjusting it. I also styled my beard. Yes, I do currently have a short beard. I both do and don’t like it. It is a pain to work with, but Wilma loves it, and the others don’t mind it, so I wanted to have at least something. Sure it isn’t the kind of beard most dwarves think of, but again, something.

I asked Agunan to confirm I was looking my best, and he told me I was looking fine.

I then used a new technique I learned just a few days ago. Automated Body. It is a Soul Magic spell, and it is what dragons use when they leave their bodies unattended.

With it, you can leave simple commands for your body to follow while you are away from it. Or highly advanced if you are skilled enough, but I can’t do that yet. For my part, I just left my body sitting with good posture, just so I wouldn’t wrinkle my clothing. Then I jumped into the Factory.

----------------------------------------

In the Factory itself, plenty of guests had already arrived, despite it being almost an hour early. Luckily the time dilation was still only at times 2, so the wait wouldn’t be overly long.

As I decided to go greet everyone, I began thinking of how to make an entrance. I know the girls had some plans, so I also wanted to make an entrance.

At first I thought I should just teleport in with some fireworks or something, but then I realized that I had a dragon by my side. So I could ride in on a dragon.

But as Agunan was about to transform into a dragon, a few dragons reminded us that he was not the strongest dragon here, and only the strongest should carry me.

The strongest dragon in the Factory, ignoring Divine-Beasts who have ‘Dragon’ in the name, was actually a new one I had. Well, technically Dragon Master Knight, but he already has Black Luster Soldier riding him, so he doesn’t count. And no, the strongest isn’t Malefic Truth Dragon or Five-Headed Dragon either.

“Alright. Blue-Eyes Chaos Ultimate Dragon. Let’s go.” I said, as I jumped onto the dragon’s back.

As I said a few days ago, I wanted a Chaos Ultimate Dragon. And with Fusion Techniques, it took no time at all. So with my three headed Chaos Dragon, I flew down to where our guests had begun gathering.

----------------------------------------

Luckily most of the guests were used to the Factory, so they didn’t question a dragon landing nearby. And the few that weren’t quickly calmed down as I jumped off the dragon.

I spent the time leading up to the wedding greeting guests, both the ones who were already here and the rest as they arrived.

Now I don’t think I need to tell you that the guest list was packed with important people. For some reason, world leaders like me. I wonder why?

Okay, I don’t, but you get the point.

Admittedly I didn’t think the Narra and Bella Royal families would show up, and not all members did. But both did send a representative.

As for the Ruiso Royal family, all five members were in the Factory.

Hiro, Saffee and their father, Zirian Crystalline, were also here.

The Emperor and King Ruiso actually had a small argument about which of them would get to bless our marriage, but King Ruiso won that as I was a noble in his country first. Not that he will get to do it as someone with higher authority decided to take over that honor.

I quickly checked the secret seating for the five of them, but none of them had taken their seats yet. And only one was in the Factory, currently talking to my Fiend monsters. Not that I’m expecting them to appear any sooner than just as we start. And Aulis is already here, so I’m sure he will send them a message when we start.

I soon received the confirmation that my fiancées had arrived in the Factory, so I excused myself from the conversation I was having with Queen Narra, telling her we were about to start.

With a quick flicker, I took my place near the front. We didn’t have an altar or anything, not like we are christians. Well I was, but only kind of. My relationship with God is between me and God, so while I was born and raised a christian, I didn’t really follow the book, nor did I attend church.

Anyway. We had a sort of archway, similar to what I’ve seen in some pictures of I think jewish weddings. But with my own style to it, naturally. Someone else might say it was a white Torii gate decorated with flowers.

Agunan was by my side, as my ‘best man’ should be. Agunan honestly won the honor just because he is great. He takes good care of the HomeBase dungeon whenever I can’t. And while I could have picked someone else, I feel like that would have been preferential treatment. And besides, Agunan was the first male to join Card Summoners. Even if he can never have the skill. Until I figure out a way to give dragons an ability that mimics Card Summoner.

The wait for the final confirmation that everyone was ready didn’t take long. And as the girls began to make their entrance, a wedding march began to play. I copied it from my memory of my aunt’s wedding, just so I could use it here.

No it isn’t traditional here, but screw that. I can make new traditions.

The girls would be escorted to the front one by one. Starting with Lua.

Lua was escorted by her mother, whom we’ve flown to HomeBase two days ago. She could have also used a Factory VR station in Sawyer city, but she decided she could take a bit of time off. Agatha was dressed in a red gown which was made for her both in here and on the outside. It was made to match Lua’s hair.

Lua meanwhile had on a white floor length gown. I offered more than a few designs for her, and she picked a few and with the help of Wilma designed something she really liked.

It had a bare shoulder, open back design. Open back to let her wings out. She had those detachable sleeves covering her arms, but not hands. They weren’t puffy, but quite form fitting. Her hair was in a semi-updo. Not that Lua can have that crazy of a hairstyle, since she doesn’t grow hers out that long. She also had on a tiara made of star titanium.

Following Lua was naturally Alice, escorted by her father. He had on a suit in the local style, but made out of spider silk. Yes, we made it for him for today. And yes, he was also on HomeBase, since HomeBase is still almost directly above Alewatch.

Alice’s dress wasn’t floor length like Lua’s, but was still white in color. All of the girls agreed to wear white after I showed them my memories, so don’t expect any crazy colored dresses.

As said earlier, Alice’s dress wasn’t floor length, instead coming to her shins. But that didn’t leave her leg exposed, as she wore knee-high white boots that were long enough to cover what would have been visible of her leg. And not boots like you might think of. They were low heels with the leg covering part being white lace.

… I just realized it is basically a white, slightly longer version of Mana’s outfit. Did they pick it just because of that? Well, I don’t mind.

She also had a small silvery hat. The kind that is attached to a headband. And it was totally made of star titanium. I love that material for accessories, as it shines like stars.

Next is of course Cailie. And figuring out her escort was the most difficult. Neither of her parents are alive, and the less we talk about her sister the better. And sure a male from her clan could have done it, but none of them can actually do Aerial Swimming, so we had to go with Cailie’s adoptive mom. And the first guest that outranked kings and emperors.

Anemoi, the superior spirit of Wind.

I heard some murmurs as the two made it down to us, but I didn’t give it any mind. If this makes them talk, just wait until later. Because I noticed that our five special guests had taken their places in the special seats they have.

But more on them in a bit, Cailie’s dress comes first. It was highly based on the dragon priestess outfit of the Nixie clan. Like the one Janina and I made Cailie for her birthday. Except that this one was made of spider silk, not dragon scales.

And like Lua, she had on a tiara. But not one that raises up, but instead one that covers her forehead. Kind of like the Sailor Moon ‘tiara’. I don’t like calling it a tiara as it really doesn’t remind me of one, but I’m pretty sure that is what it is actually called. And I don’t need to tell you what it is made of.

Now, before my next fiancée walks down the aisle, let’s talk about our special guests in the special seating. First the seating. It was a box with an amazing view, but it couldn’t be seen from outside, unless you had my permission. So out of everyone here, only me and my fiancées could see it. I just felt like it would be appropriate.

In it sat five people. Well, one is a demon. So maybe we should start with him.

Ibu or Ibuprofen, or the Demon God didn’t look like I was used to. Instead of appearing like a strange copied mix of some of my Fiend monsters, he now looked like a fairly standard man, only with curved ram horns coming out of his head, two pairs of bat-like wings coming from his back, and a whip-like tail from his butt.

He was dressed in a dark, skintight outfit which revealed a muscular physique that would fit an S-rank frontline adventurer.

It was interesting that his appearance altering didn’t work, but I think that might be because he is in my mental world, and I do know his name.

Next to him was an older male. He had white, long hair, and an equally long beard. But his beard wasn’t white, instead cycling the colors of the rainbow, just like the hair of the lady next to him.

The gentleman also had long, pointed ears, giving him an elven appearance, even if his styled beard screamed dwarf.

This was The Lord of All, whom as I mentioned earlier, is the one who has been a System God the longest out of the current System Gods. His appearance came from the two holders of the System Agents. They used to belong to a dwarf and an elf. Sadly I don’t know their story yet, as The Lord of All said he’d only share it with me after I do him a favor, or I reach ultimate.

As already mentioned, the Goddess was sitting in the middle seat. I’d questioned why the others let her have that seat, but I noticed that the others were talking with the person sitting next to them, so she was left to be the odd woman out.

Next was the last God I’ve yet to meet. He went by The Great God. Subtle. But it makes sense since he is the one who has four ultimate System Supports making him up.

He had the appearances of a stereotypical archangel. Long, flowy blonde hair, conventionally attractive face and four pairs of wings behind him. The rainbow part of him were his wings, which admittedly made them look really cool.

And like with The Lord of All, I didn’t know much about him. Not even the races of the System Support holders or anything.

And the last of the five was The Divine Lord. I’ve already met him, but in case you don’t remember, he looks like a lion-kin man with his mane changing colors.

I was honestly surprised when I got the word that all five of the Gods would be here. I expected Ibu, and maybe the Goddess if she could spare the time, not all of them. But they wanted to come, so I let them.

Now that that is over, time for me to face my next fiancée. Wilma.

Wilma was being escorted by Claus, and not her System Support Claus. Like Cailie, both of Wilma’s parents are dead, so Claus was the only real option.

Claus wasn’t wearing a suit, instead just being in fitted clothing and wearing a clean leather apron over his clothes. He honestly looked like a blacksmith from a commercial where they made a blacksmith look way too clean. And yes, he demanded it.

Wilma on the other hand wore a full wedding dress which covered her shoulders, back, arms and so on. It was probably the most ‘generic wedding dress’ of all of the girls. Modest, but beautiful. And not something I expected Wilma to choose.

Unlike the others, Wilma didn’t wear any heels, instead having just very thin bottom shoes to make her not be too much taller than everyone else. She also had on a tiara, but one with a veil attached to it. One that covered her hair, not her face.

Her beard was beautifully styled and tied with the beard ring I gave her on her birthday.

Next, and the last to actually walk down the aisle, was Unika. Well, Cailie didn’t walk, she was flying, but you get the point. Naturally Olia was walking with her daughter.

Both Unika and Olia were wearing Kimono-style outfits, having taken after that style. Olia’s was light yellow, with orange and red foxes embroidered on it.

Unika’s was naturally white, and it had silver foxes all over it. Yes, we made star titanium thread to embroider hers.

She also had a few small fox hairpins holding up her hair. Made of star titanium, like everything was.

Then came the last one. Janina. And as I said, she wasn’t walking down the aisle. Instead, as it became her turn, I faced the mountain in the distance where I could see her lounging.

“আমি জানিনা” I called out her name, in Draconic. It took a long time to get it even near, as twisting a human vocal cords to pronounce dragon names is impossible. Luckily I could just alter mine with Dragonic Body.

After I did, a huge number of dragons took off from the mountain. Nearly every dragon from the Dragon’s coast was in the Factory. They flew up, forming two lines with a path in the middle for Janina. After it was ready, she rose from the mountain, her wings gently carrying her past all the dragons, before she flew a small circle above us.

She then began to shine, as her form shrank down. As she landed, she was fully in her humanoid form, covered in her wedding gown.

Like Lua’s, hers had an open back for her wings, but she also had a slit down the middle of the dress’ back to let her tail out. Hers also had the sleeves attached to the dress.

She also had on a triple tier tiara, which was supported by her horns. It honestly looked more like a crown, but whatever.

With all of us gathered, it was time for our vows. For that, we turned towards the not Torii gate.

That was the signal for our priest. … okay, you know she isn’t a priest, but she is doing that job.

The Goddess teleported herself from the hidden seating, and appeared in a rainbow flicker on the other side of the archway. As she did, I heard more than a few gasps from the audience. She stepped through the archway to our side, before holding a short speech.

It was generally just thanking me for keeping the world safe, and blessing our marriage. And no, there was no ‘do you promise to love this person in sickness and in health’. We didn’t need promises like that. We already had everything we needed. … well, almost. There was one thing the Goddess would give us.

Not that she made them. We did.

As her speech came to an end, seven rings appeared above the Goddess. Each of them carried seven tiny magic stones. The rings floated down to us as we raised our left hands, and the Goddess slit the rings on our ring fingers.

With that, she gave us her blessing again, before she walked back through the gate, disappearing with the sparkle of rainbows.
