With the ceremony part of our wedding over, it was time for some celebrations. Starting with the part that was happening in the Factory.

After our guests got over the shock of seeing a literal God, they began asking questions. Questions like how did I get her to show up. And people like Wendy, who ‘knew’ why the Goddess couldn’t manifest and fix the ‘miasma blobs’ asked how she could appear here.

Luckily I had an excuse. I told them all that since the Factory is a mental realm, it was simple for the Goddess to make an avatar here. Like how our System Supports can appear here. And how past System Supports can also appear here.

That led to another conversation where I told people that after the death of their holder, System Supports are reclaimed by the System and they serve the System for some time before actually passing away. Which is basically the truth, but kind of not. It is more complicated than that and comes down to the System duties an Agent has.

For example, Aulis cannot pass until he has carried all of Ritva’s Prophecies to completion. Because taking care of them is his duty. And System Supports who make up a God can’t pass until a new God is there to replace them.

This did calm most people down, but I was still asked if I had figured out a way to summon out a God. To which I lied and told not yet.

As I got that lull in the conversation, I looked at the secret seating and noticed that all five of the Gods who had been there were gone. But I still sensed one within the Factory. I quickly tracked him down and noticed that Ibu had stayed and was currently talking with Janina.

I feel like most guests just assume he is another one of my monsters, as he does look like he could be one, so I just let him do as he wanted.

“May I ask about the appearance of the Goddess?” Sepher White, the highest ranked priest of the Hero’s country, asked. “While she is as described for the most part, I found that her multi-colored hair didn’t match any of our records.”

“Oh, you saw Her with the rainbow hair as well?” I asked.

“Yes? Was I not supposed to?”

“No, I just didn’t expect it.” I told him. “From the few experiences we have, everyone sees certain features on the Goddess differently. Mainly her hair. For me, it is a color shifting rainbow. For Alice, she has long blond hair. For Lua, it is different again.”

“Actually, since the memory palace we’ve seen her the same as you.” Cailie, who was by my side currently as only the few HomeBase visitors of the Nixie clan could be here, answered. “And she has always looked like that in the Factory.” She added.

“Oh. Didn’t know that.” I admitted. “Well, then her avatar must be based on my perception of her. But if she does ever manifest in a way where her true power will be clear to you, you will see her differently from myself.”

“Probably not.” Cailie noted. “Yours is the perfect version, so after seeing it, you can’t really see her differently.”

“... Shame. I actually liked hearing how other people saw her.”

“Because you have a hair fetish.” Cailie whispered in my ear, quiet enough that no one else heard her. Or maybe she used some sort of barrier to block out the sound.

Soon enough the Factory part of the celebration ended. We couldn’t drag it on because people were busy, and not like serving food or drinks here would help with their real stomachs.

I was promised some wedding presents, which would be sent to one of the buildings I either own or rent. For the Factory VR buildings I have in large cities. I’ll then either pick them up myself, or have someone else pick them up.

… I’ll have to write thank you letters to everyone. That’ll be a pain. Well, it can’t be helped. And a celebration is about to start on HomeBase

After I returned to my body, the first thing I did was taking my ring out of Storage, and sliding it onto my finger. We had them put on in the Factory, but that doesn’t magically make them appear on us on this side.

Now, you might expect me to immediately head out to where the others were, and I would, but I have a quick drop off to do before that.

I teleported to the Dragon’s coast, to a preset location that had some giant serving trays ready to go. Surrounding it were the few dragons we’ve trained to be dragon maids and butlers on HomeBase.

I dropped a huge pile of food, drinks and some sweets that tasted great to dragon tastebuds onto the tables, left the maid and butler dragons in charge, and teleported back to HomeBase. The dragons were a part of the ceremony, but I can’t have all of them on HomeBase, so they have a food service of their own.

Luckily all of that only took a few minutes, so I wasn’t late to my own party. Most guests had just gotten out of the Factory VR pods, and were still having their clothes or hair looked over by maids, either mine or some of their own.

In terms of us seven, I was the first to arrive since I just teleported here. But the others were just a few seconds from the front door, so I flickered my way there to receive them.

Greeting them with a kiss each, we headed into the fray. … maybe a bit strong of a word, but it did feel like that.

Luckily that didn’t take long, as soon enough my maids, and monsters who were dressed up as maids, began bringing out drinks. Starting with non-alcoholic champagne. And Champagne can’t stop me from calling it that since I’m not on Earth. Good luck suing me when I’m in a different world.

I then held a quick speech, thanking everyone who was here, before raising my glass and taking a sip, with the guests following.

I floated back to the ground from the raised position I had been in. This wasn’t just my party, and I had hogged enough of the spotlight. I just wanted to enjoy the rest with my girls.

I joined up with them on a couch that had been set up for us.

Soon enough, the food service began. Yes, we had both food and tea service. You think I wouldn’t?

And we had just about everything on offer. All of the amazing foods HomeBase serves on a daily basis, but elevated even higher. Everything laid out in custom serving tables I made, ones that used Time Magic to keep the food perfectly fresh and at the perfect temperature. I mean, technically the food does slowly cool, but the food has its time slowed as much as I could.

None of us went to get our own foods, instead Agunan, Jenna, Syra, Myla, Rin, Eline and Eka brought us our food. … why doesn’t Unika have a personal maid again? Well, not my problem. Not that Myla is a maid either. She just likes working with Cailie, as both of them use the Aromage monsters.

Objective for this year. Acquire a personal maid or butler for Unika and Cailie.

As we ate, we allowed the guests to come up and speak to us. … that sounds wrong, but it is how it is.

So either one by one, or as small groups, our guests came up to us, exchanged a few words, and generally also told us about a wedding gift they already brought, or one they would send our way in the coming days.

I won’t go over all of them, but I will mention a few important pieces.

First, let’s mention Claus. Since I returned all of the weapons that were stolen from Smorog, Smorog wanted to give me something special.

In this case, it came in the form of The indestructible sword of penance, Chandrahas. Yes. They gifted us the legendary sword the country is kind of known for.

Technically they were only lending it to us, for safekeeping, as with the weapons the States stole returned, they were worried about a repeat attack. But still, we are now holding onto another legendary sword.

The Crystalline family sent over an Origin Crystal. A crystal made of the same material their bodies are made of. Something that can, with Soul Magic and appropriate magic stones, be used to make a Crystal Golem. Arguably the strongest golem in the world.

Now in theory, it can even be used to give birth to a new Crystal person. At least Janina theorized as much. But unless that person is accepted into the System by the Gods, they won’t have the System, as they would have been born from outside of it.

From the Sage’s tower, we got a different kind of gift. Certificates naming myself, Alice, Lua and Janina as Great Sages. Four Great Sages at the same time. And thus, access to the most sacred books of the Sage’s tower.

I definitely didn’t expect that, but you better believe I’ll be raiding that library during the adventuring tournament.

The Adventurers’ guild sent us something similar. And this time it was for all seven of us.

We got new guild cards. Guild cards for SS-rank adventurers. Something that didn’t even exist, as S-rank has always been the highest. Well, kind of. Before the demon king, there have been SS-ranks. The guild records of that time aren’t clear, but thanks to the System info, I know there have been.

Still. The seven of us are the only SS-rank adventurers on this continent.

One more one that I’ll mention. A big gift from the most oppressed group of people. A group Lua and I’ve saved. The dhampirs.

From them, we received something as interesting as what the Crystalline family sent us. A collection of dhampir blood. Just a tiny drop from each, but put together, it was a large amount.

It was Syra who came up with this idea, and she has been collecting the blood since the first dhampir students of HomeBase, keeping it fresh with Blood Magic.

And because of her effort, as well as the blood of all those dhampirs, she had made something wonderful.

We didn’t really know what could be done with it. At least not yet. But I’m guessing some pretty powerful things.

After food service, we danced a few songs. Well, I personally danced six. One with each of the girls.

Each was different, as my wives picked the dances they wanted. They concluded in a sky dance I did with Janina, both of us in our dragon forms. And speaking of, my dragon form was no longer as it has been.

It was just three days ago when Janina finished giving her Dragon Scale Blessing to me. And after she finished, I changed my dragon form.

I was no longer a western dragon, but instead a serpentine eastern dragon like Janina. I just felt it was more appropriate. Sure I can use my old one as well, but I like this.

After dancing, the cake was brought out. And you better believe that it was massive. Supported by Space Magic, because it wouldn’t support its own weight.

Seven tiers. Each tier was for one of us.

Janina’s was at the bottom, the largest, and arguably the most basic when it came to flavor, as it was just vanilla and grape flavored. But it has a decoration that went all around the layer that looked like her dragon form.

Above hers was naturally Unika’s. Flavored with orange and cinnamon. The base cake was also chocolate, so that added a bit to it. Hers of course had foxes running around the rim.

Wilma’s layer was next. She had coffee and caramel cream between the layers of cake. And the outside layer showcased the entire path of metal, from ore in the ground into a finished sword in the hands of an adventurer.

Cailie’s had different fruits, from the CropFields, between the layers. And the outside edge had a sea depicted on it, with mer-folk, sea monsters and other such things swimming in the sea.

Alice was next. Hers was also a chocolate cake, with strawberry and wild berry jam. The wild berries originated from the Ever forest, just by Alewatch. It depicted the journey of a mage learning to cast spells, moving to more advanced spells, and eventually taking on powerful monsters with those spells, before ending with the mage teaching their own student how to cast spells.

Lua was the second from the top. Sadly we couldn’t do a taste blood cake, but we could make a red velvet cake. It was filled with HomeBase original white chocolate. And depicted on it were dhampirs. All taking care of each other, no matter what opposed them.

And last, was mine. For mine, I stole a bit from Alice and Wilma, as mine also had strawberry jam and caramel cream. I just like that combination. And on the side, mine depicted some of my favorite monsters. Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Red Dragon Archfiend, Black Luster Soldier, Sorcerer of Dark Magic and a few others. There was a big fight on which monsters got to be there. The only one I demanded was Blue-Eyes.

And at the very top of the cake, there was a small statue depicting all seven of us.

After the cake, there was more dancing and just having fun. But because tomorrow is just another day, we called it quits quite early. At least compared to how long celebrations on Earth sometimes drag on.

But in my room, we had an afterparty. The lewd kind. And you aren’t invited, so deal with it.

We have to consummate the wedding, don’t we?

And no, I didn’t get anyone pregnant. Not yet anyway. Even though Lua wanted to.
