Chapter 166: Churu Sticks Are Really Good

"Blue-grade cat treats really are terrifying!"

Sol couldn't help but sigh.

After all, even his dual pistols [Ebony & Ivory] were only blue-grade, giving +50 strength, 8% crit rate, and 23% crit damage.

Compared to ordinary pistols, the gap was easily a hundredfold.

So, the leap in quality between a normal cat treat and a blue-grade one could be imagined.

The [Super Cat Treat] was about thirty centimeters long, three centimeters in diameter, almost like a relay baton. It even had a bit of firmness to it—usable by girls on their own.

Unlike those tiny, squeezable wet cat treats, this one was dry and solid, its sheer size worthy of the "super" name.

Its scent was also far stronger, clawing right into a cat's soul.

It was nothing like those cheap, addictive treats. This one was genuinely good for cats, luring them with irresistible benefit until they couldn't escape.

"You're trying to lure the little kitten next door?"

Hearing his muttering, Baal immediately understood Sol's plan.

This was payback—for that little tattletale earlier, revenge for his failing scumbag endeavors.

Baal gave him a look and sighed. "You really are petty. She only did what she had to. She even apologized this afternoon, and you still won't let it go? At least wait a couple of days, find a proper excuse!"

Sol cut her a sidelong glance, a cold smile tugging at his lips. "You know I'm petty, and you still dare talk like that in front of me? Want to get dragged into this too?"

"…"

Baal lowered her head back to her phone, ignoring mortal squabbles.

Sorry, little kitty. I'll at least take a picture for you later. And leave behind a memorial.

Meanwhile, in the side bedroom, Nekomata sprawled across her bed, snoring loudly, crystal-clear drool glistening at her lips.

"Hehehe, mackerel… delicious mackerel…"

Clearly, she was having a sweet dream.

Really, after offending Sol today, she shouldn't have been able to sleep so soundly, not even with Nicole's backing.

But cats were known for being light sleepers. Nekomata prided herself on the same.

With her sharp senses, the moment Sol returned, she was sure she'd wake and react in time.

And so, Nekomata fell asleep very alert—yet remained blissfully unaware of Sol's return.

At that moment, wisps of strange fragrance seeped through the door cracks.

The aroma took on the shape of a phantom hand, drifting to her bedside, curling straight for her sensitive nose.

Sniff sniff!

Her little nose twitched, her face melting into bliss.

She rose softly from the bed, body loose, and followed the scent out of her room.

Though still deep in dreams, she easily sidestepped every anti-Sol trap she had laid, shuffling step by step toward the source.

"Mackerel… lots of mackerel over there, hehe…"

Her murmurs carried as she drifted into Sol's room.

She still wore her cat-faced pajamas, the slightly open collar baring her delicate collarbones and the curve of her chest.

Eyes closed, only her nose twitched as she floated forward bonelessly, completely led by the treat's pull.

Tiny, dazed, and cute—perfect hug-pillow material.

"Nekomata sleepwalking her way here? Guess Tom & Jerry didn't lie." Sol chuckled, half amused, half impressed. "The [Super Cat Treat] really is powerful."

But this wasn't the moment to leave the whole thing out.

With dragon-elephant strength, he pinched off a bit of powder from the treat.

He stored the rest back into his system space, then dabbed the powder at the corner of his lips.

"Yikes, that's scary…"

Baal shivered, goosebumps rising. Does he have some special anti-Bangboo weapon or what?

Watching his little scheme unfold, she already knew exactly what would happen next. A word she had seen online surfaced in her mind—Chosen of Lustful Sin.

Drawn by the scent, Nekomata padded closer and closer to Sol's bed.

Then she leapt, straight toward the corner of his mouth dusted with the treat.

"Meow, meow, meow, so tasty!"

Her tongue swept eagerly across his face as her hands fanned open and her tail swayed side to side in delight.
