"It’s nothing. We were falsely kicked out of the base for no reason. I genuinely think there’s something wrong with this place." Then he asked softly, "What are you doing here, Hannah?"

The moment Hannah saw how gently Arthur was behaving toward her, she felt as if someone had struck Cupid’s arrow directly into her heart.

’How can Arthur be so cute and so gentle toward me? Maybe after the apocalypse began, he finally realized his true feelings for me.’

She couldn’t help but say, "I’m here because I wanted to get inside the base, but someone abused her power to take revenge on me."

Hearing those words, Arthur immediately patted his chest and said, "Who was this woman? Just tell me her name, and I’ll take care of her for you."

Hannah immediately teared up and said,

"It was Ivy. She broke the line and acted like she was the representative of this base, which I highly suspect she bribed the guards for. Then she bribed them again just to keep me out. I don’t know what I’ve done to make Ivy hate me so much."

Meanwhile, Angelina stared at Hannah with an amused gaze.

’This dumb bitch even knows that Ivy is the representative of the base, and yet she is thinking of going against her? Or maybe she doesn’t believe in her heart that Ivy is the representative? What kind of expression will she make once she finds out she was accusing the actual leader?’

For now, Angelina decided to remain silent and watch the show.

Her family members stiffened at Hannah’s words. They already knew the reality... that Ivy was extremely successful.

Arthur felt an invisible fire ignite in his lower belly. He wanted to bed Hannah right then and there.
