The intruders’ speed was so quick that the Blue Snake didn’t seem to react. When it realized they were gone, it immediately lifted its head and let out a hiss, then followed in pursuit.

Lin Tian and Ning Luoxi weaved through the ice cave’s passages and quickly reached the pool’s entrance. Just before diving into the water, Lin Tian heard rumbling noise from behind.

The time it took them to emerge out of the water was at least half of what it took to go in. They burst out from the cold pool’s opening, leaping to the shore.

"Lin Tian, here’s your Crescent Blade, take it back, don’t lose it," Ning Luoxi said, handing the Crescent Blade back to Lin Tian after landing.

Lin Tian took it, stored it away, and checked his belongings, reassured only after confirming the most important Blue Snake Grass was okay.

"Let’s retreat. I’m somewhat curious if the Blue Snake will pursue to the waterfall. Now I’m a bit expecting the scene of the Black Water King Snake encountering the Blue Snake," Lin Tian said with anticipation.

"Maybe the two snakes will join forces against us. Don’t forget, they are of the same species," Ning Luoxi said.

"Who cares! If they have what it takes to pursue us outside, they’ll end up as a snake stew on some table," Lin Tian replied indifferently.
